End of terrace Victorian Grade 2 listed cottage, outside recently rewilded, just a few minutes level walk to the Quay, free off road parking close by, the bustling hub of the town, this cosy cottage offers everything you need to enjoy the ideal stay.

The living room is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring with comfortable arm chair, sofa and a wall mounted 40 " flat screen TV.

A chilly evening? then fire up the wood burner or pop across the road to the friendly Seven Stars pub or visit Restaurant Twenty Seven by Jamie Rogers.

The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, don’t want to cook, then you can visit a range of restaurants/pubs within walking distance.

Upstairs, the bedroom has a brass antique style double bed with Vi-Sprung mattress and Brinkhaus pillows and duvet.

Modern hi spec boutique bathroom with walk in power shower recently installed.

Gas central heating throughout.

100 Mbps fibre wifi

Designated free off road parking space 150 meters.

This area of south Devon is loved for its rugged cliffs, sandy coves, peaceful countryside, pretty villages, rolling hills, secretive estuaries and dark night skies.

With its unusual geography, the Salcombe-Kingsbridge estuary is a wonderfully rich haven for wildlife and people alike; from teeming rockpools to seagrass jungles, seahorses and dolphins to the odd basking shark. The bus station is a few minutes walk giving easy access to Salcombe, Dartmouth, Plymouth and Totnes.The Salcombe ferry is close by.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage.Location was perfect .Parking brilliant nearby own space.Cozy with all mod cons but in a lovely old cottage.We will definitely be back!Wanted to keep this little gem a secret for ourselves!

Lovely cottage in ideal central location. We were away for a couple of days after recovering from hip replacement surgery when my husband had been so attentive. The sun shone (most of the time) but it would have been nice to have known how steep the stairs were as I had only just progressed from crutches!!!

Small but perfectly formed. The best part was the central location, post office, supermarket and pharmacy a stone's throw away. Great pubs and restaurants and great bus and ferry services straight to the beaches. Will book again for certain.

lovely cottage, well furnished and equipped, comfy bed. Very close to lovely dog friendly pubs, supermarkets, deli's etc. good location.

Lovely spot with good eating and drinking places nearby, very good beaches all with in a 15 miles

Lovely little cottage for two people, good shower and all the amenities although we don't use the oven as we spent a great week exploring the local area.

Fantastic property. Very clean and in a great location. Had all the needed essentials inside and had a lovely cheese and wine hamper on arrival. Would recommend to others in a heart beat and would definitely stay again.

The cottage had everything we needed. Situated in an ideal position near the quay, with shops, pubs and restaurants in easy walking distance. A great base from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. The owner was very helpful. Gardener's Cottage was perfect for the two of us and we would definitely return.

In a central location , easy to get everywhere and to walk to restaurants Great bed we slept well The place is tiny and maybe a bit too much clutter but a lovely stay

Great location

Really handy for all the amenities of Kingsbridge. Nice little cottage, stairs perhaps a challenge for older folk like us. Car parking was good considering the snugness of the location.

Gardeners cottage amazing

Gardeners cottage well kept beautiful decorations locally to good restaurants would recommend the crabshell nice national trust property near by and beautiful beaches would recommend hope beach Mike the owner is lovely and easy to get in touch with definitely would recommend and go again

A delightful cottage in the centre of Kingsbridge

Once we had become accustomed to how small the cottage was we realised how everything was provided for a comfortable stay and especially enjoyed the situation and loved Kingsbridge

We had a lovely weekend stay as a couple and our dog in this cottage. The location is perfect and is a very short walk from the high street and shops. We went on a very hot weekend too but the cottage stayed really nice and cool which was perfect for our dog! The host was very good at communicating with us. We’d definitely return in future and would highly recommend for couples and their dogs.

Ideally situated very near to town centre and all amenities. The property was clean, quaint and comfortable. Ideal for a couple visiting Kingsbridge. The allocated parking space was really convenient and only a short walk from the cottage. Despite the town centre location, it was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

A lovely, cosy bolthole in the centre of Kingsbridge.

The cottage is really well appointed. Everything has been thought of. It is in a superb position - close to the centre of all the amenities, shops and cafes, but in a quiet little square. A great place for a break to relax and explore the area.

Great location in charming period cottage

Small but perfect for two. Charming and quirky . Clean and comfortable . Wonderful location- minutes away from town, quay and restaurants. Small outside area at rear perfect for an afternoon cup of tea. Convenient parking arrangement. Attentive host. All made for a relaxing 6 day stay.

I moved to Kingsbridge, south Devon from Buckinghamshire, retiring early, twenty years ago.
I have always loved the countryside and its wildlife and am enjoying living in this beautiful part of England.

The row of cottages were built around 1840 and lived in by brewery and mill workers at the time.

In the 1960s and 70s the cottages were scheduled for demolition, but fortunately saved and now Grade II listed, as can be seen by the original wooden sash windows with the old wonkey glass.

As a consequence, any changes have been done in a sympathetic manner, but at the same time making it a warm, welcoming place to stay.
