Lovely property in quiet, rural environment but close to amenities. Clean and well equipped. We really liked the outside area with pool and outdoor dining/seating. Host was very responsive when the kettle leaked and replaced it immediately. A great stay

Syracusa vacations

Very good place to stay for vacation, exactly like in the photos of the offer. Stephanie and Vanessa made the check-in/check out very easy and were kind. We recommend.

Our Stay

Property was really clean and had all the necessary cooking utensils. Stephanie was easy to contact and gave us good recommendations for eating out in siracusa and her choices never disappointed us. The property is in a really quiet location not far from siracusa nor arenella beach. Would highly recommend the property.

Great value and location to Ortega

Great place for two couples. Only 10 minutes drive into Syracusa and Ortega. We enjoyed the private pool as well. We used this location as our base for 9 days in the south east and it was perfect. I would only suggest that the photos of the patio be updated as the couch seating was not there when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends who want to explore the southeast of Sicily.

Perfect for us!

The single-storey apartment suited us very well in its simplicity and peace. We were most grateful to find a cold supper and bottle of wine when we arrived in the evening. The large pool was just what we needed after mornings of sight-seeing. Proximity to Syracuse was ideal. Stephanie's greeting on arrival and advice in general added enormously to a perfect holiday!

3rd visit

We have been coming to Sicily for a number of years and for 3 of the last 4 visits we have stayed at Vanessa’s lovely residence. Its location is perfect being 20 minutes outside Ortigia which is totally stunning. Amazing restaurants, bars & a great food market. The apartment itself is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is lovely and regularly cleaned. Vanessa & her lovely son Lorenzo could not be more helpful. Vanessa I am sure we will be back in 2027

Sightseeing

We had a lovely time once we got there. You need a car to get to the location. The location is beautiful but you need to be aware that you have to drive for a baker, grocerystore etc. So your basic necessities. Stephanie helped us when we needed to find a nice restaurant, she booked a lovely table. We advice everybody to book this location and not hold back when you have a car

Strange design of the house

This was one of the most uncomfortable rentals we have done, The pool had no stairs to get into the pool. The bathrooms were triangular and very cramped. The small shower had no place to put soap or shampoo. The extra interior locked doors were strange and not necessary. The small kitchen table took up most of the kitchen. The location was on an unattractive small road. One direction out of the apartment was overrun with litter dumped by the side of the road. Stephanie, the property manager was great and helpful, but she couldn't overcome the short comings of this rental house.

Dear guests, It seems obvious further to your (bad) comment that you should have booked another house...at another rate! We offer a fully equipped 70 sqm house (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) with large exclusive use pool and spacious lounge area at a very fair price, the pool has no stairs but a large step when you enter into it....it is not necessary to go on wih our explanations...fortunately more than 90% of our guests understood it, leaving excellent previous comments. Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben, sehr schön und ruhig. Mit kleinen Verbesserungen könnte man daraus ein Schmuckstück machen: es gab einen Grill. Dieser war aber völlig verrottet und nicht mehr benutzbar. Es gab keinen funktionierenden Sonnenschirm daher haben wir einen gekauft und auch dagelassen. Der Pool ist toll und groß, aber überall blättert die Farbe ab. Es sind 4 Sonnenliegen vorhanden , aber keine Auflagen dafür-das war sehr unbequem. Der Italian coffee maker ist grundsätzlich super, aber so ein kleines Minimodell das man nur 2 Tassen zubereiten kann. Die Kuechenausstattung ist komplett gut ausgestattet, aber nur leider nur 2 Weingläser obwohl das Haus für 4 Personen ist. Dies als Verbesserungsvorschlag, wir haben uns trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus gerne weiterempfehlen.

Das Haus war echt super! Vanessa ist total lieb und aufmerksam. Der Pool ist die perfekte Abkühlung und auch im Haus kann man super entspannen. Man braucht auf jeden Fall ein Auto und es ist gut zu wissen, dass man nicht einfach umher spazieren kann. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Die Unterkunft von Vanessa ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen. Die Unterkunft ist hervorragend für einen tollen Urlaub. Auch sind die Empfehlungen von Vanessa für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut.Während unserem Aufenthalts kam eine kleine und sehr liebevolle, aber leider auch sehr dünne Katze (Syrakus) zu uns. Um ihr zu helfen, wurde uns erlaubt diese zu füttern. Vanessa versprach sogar mit ihr zum Tierarzt zu fahren.Eine sehr tolle und einfühlsame Gastgeberin.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Gegend, nur ca. 12 Autominuten von der wunderschönen Altstadt Syrakus entfernt, auch die umliegenden Strände sind in kurzer Zeit zu erreichen.Ideal für eine Familie oder 2 befreundete Paare. Gute Austattung, sauber, schöner Freibereich mit Pool und 2 Terrassen. Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die immer erreichbar ist und uns gute Restauranttipps gegeben hat. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr netter problemloser Kontakt per WhatsApp mit Vanessa. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Wir haben tolle Tipps von Vanessa bekommen und viel unternommen. Syrakus ist nur wenige Autominuten entfernt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, genau richtig für 4 Personen. Die Örtlichkeit ist abgelegen und ruhig - genau das, was wir gesucht hatten. Der Pool ist großartig und wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Waschmaschine und Klimaanlage sind im Preis inbegriffen - es entstehen keinerlei Extrakosten.

Schönes geräumiges Haus mit großer Terrasse und schönem Pool

Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Estate alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders der eigene Pool mit der großen Terrasse hat uns schöne entspannte Urlaubstage bereitet.

Bon sejour mais des choses a revoir

Villa comme sur les photos sauf salon de jardin trois chaises dont 1 abîmé alors que nous somme 4 pas du tout la meme que sur les photos.Chambre adultes le lit fait beaucoup de bruit , mais le matelas et oreillers tres bien .Chambre enfant 1 lit avec des lattes de casser et un matelas a ressort qui es bon a changer nous avons prevenue mais malheureusement rien a etait fait ma fille a dû dormir avec nous pendant le sejour car trop mal au dos ! Un cadre de casser , un lustre de casser . La terrasse n'était pas tres propre des taches au sol collante .Et par contre pour les toilettes un gros probleme devoirs sessuyer et mettre dans la poubelle car nous navons pas le droit de mettre de dans c'était pas top surtout sous cette chaleur pas du tout hygiénique. La clim elle fonctionne que quand ont est au domicile quand ont s'en vas elle ne fonctionne plus !Pas une seule fois un nettoyage de piscine durant notre sejour nous somme rester 10 jours quand meme donc pas cool !!

Good afternoon, I'm very sorry for this negative comment because when you left you told me everything was perfect. Regarding the beds, unfortunately, you understand that mattress comfort is subjective. Unfortunately, you can't expect to go on vacation and find the exact same comfort as a mattress at home; that means you have to change the mattress for every guest. Regarding the pool, I won't allow such a thing to be said. All pools are cleaned and checked every morning; if it hadn't been cleaned for 10 days, you'd be swimming with frogs in it. This review smacks more of a spiteful one to me because I haven't replaced the single mattress. Kind regards.

Wir waren zu 2. insgesamt neun Nächte in dem Ferienhaus. Was wirklich wunderbar war, ist die Ruhe. Nur ein Hahn, der morgens kräht und Hunde in der Umgebung, die manchmal bellen. :-)Leider war die Terrasse nicht so ausgestattet, wie auf den Fotos hier zu sehen (keine Lounge Möbel und kein Patio) und schon teilweise etwas mitgenommen. Und es wäre nett, wenn vorher kurz Bescheid gesagt wird, dass die Eigentümer z. B. den Pool sauber machen. Wir waren schon überrascht, als jemand in dem Garten stand. Insgesamt ein wirklich tolles Haus für Erholung und Ruhe.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung nahe Syrakus

Wir waren Anfang Oktober hier und haben unsere Flitterwochen verbracht. Wir können absolut nichts Negatives berichten! Die Lage ist super, Vanessa die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würden jederzeit wiederkonnen!
