This historic 1924 bungalow style home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Great comfortable home with a lot of windows and living/dining room for family gatherings. Large deck is located at the back of the house and has a private back yard. Plenty of off street parking with a gate at the back of the driveway that can be locked to store motorcycles or a car. One mile to the Historic Strand District. A seven minute walk to the Seawall, shopping and many great restaurants. Dogs must be pre-approved at booking including a $50 nonrefundable fee per dog per stay.

Kathy was a wonderful host and I had a very comfortable stay! I really enjoyed being walking distance to the Seawall/Beach but absolutely loved the calmness of the backyard. 10 out of 10, would love to stay here again.

This home is absolutely fabulous!! It is very clean, comfortable and has a great location to everything Galveston! We loved the architecture of the home and the quiet of the neighborhood. The backyard was lovely and fun to hang out in. Communication with the hosts was wonderful. Being able to bring our fur babies was a huge bonus. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again ourselves.

Love this cute historic house. It has everything to make your stay comfortable. Loved the fenced in back yard and the front porch too! Short walk to the beach and many fabulous bars and restaurants. Hopefully will be back next year!

This is the most wonderful home in every way! The decor is very nice. The house is clean and well stocked. We sat on the front and back porch while there and enjoyed it! We hope to come back as it was one of nicest houses we have stayed in Galveston. Location is good and it’s quiet. Highly recommend it.

Overall wonderful stay for our extended weekend. Our little Dauchshun enjoyed his first road trip and had a couple nice walks the the beach from the house. House is very comfortable with a nice porch out back and all the little perks. Easy to get to anywhere you'd like to go. Great communication from the Owner(s). Highly recommended

A Delight by the Sea

Great dog friendly home

Great centrally located property in nice quiet neighborhood, great/ safe for our two border collies. Owners were really nice and responsive to us, we had a good time there.

We love to have family time, travel, and fish. We purchased this house to share with lots of family and friends and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do. Our goal is for all of our guests to sit back, relax and love Galveston as much as we do.

We love the beach, love to fish, and most of all we love family time! Therefore, with Galveston only one hour away, we all decided this was the perfect place. Galveston has so much history, charm, GREAT restaurants, shopping and so much more to see and do that you can easily spend a week here and never run out of things to do. It also has the world's longest continuous sidewalk which attracts walkers, joggers, bicyclists, skaters and many more activities. So, if you like to be active, it's a great place or, if you prefer to relax, just grab a good book and enjoy the beach! We wanted to allow others to enjoy Galveston and our home as much as we do; therefore, we designed and furnished our home with comfort and entertainment in mind. Consequently, it's not just a vacation rental, it's a vacation home! Seaside Delight has been fully renovated with all new appliances, remodeled bathrooms, refinished floors and great bedrooms. With a large private deck and backyard. It is like a brand new home, but maintains the charming, historic cottage look and feel of the early 1900's.

For parking ease, we have a long driveway with access from the front of the house. You can easily park your boat or 4 large vehicles without relying on street parking. If you like entertaining outdoors you will love our backyard retreat with a privacy fence, large deck and plenty of seating areas.
