Great Neighborhood, easy walking distance to park, skate park, splash pad, beach, and many restaurants. You will love this place! 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Home. Quiet Neighborhood walking distance to many family friendly activities. You can drive to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens in about 10 minutes. You can drive to the Strand in about 3 minutes. You can walk to the beach in about 2 minutes without children and about 6 minutes with children. You can walk to the park in about 3 minutes as well with tennis courts, skate park, splash pad and playground.

Great stay in Galveston

Great property. Short walk to Seawall and restaurants. Property is clean and located on a quiet street. Host is very accommodating. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this property.

Best kept secret

Great things vome in small packages is true. This was a home away from home. I hope I get the opportunity to visit in better weather.

Nice central location

Nice house close to things we wanted to do like pleasure peer, downtown, restaurants, etc. Would consider this again for another trip to Galveston.

Galveston Getaway

Great place. Property wasn’t ready when we arrived, but called management and they had someone there within 15 min to get in cleaned and ready. Great communication with management!

Holiday family getaway

Great place to stay! Very close to the beach and Pleasure Pier. Very comfy and clean. Enough room for our family of four. Would definitely rent again! Homeowners were easy to contact and friendly.

Weekend stay

The house was exactly like it was described. It was just right for what we needed. The mattress on the master bedroom bed wasn’t the best, it is a bit hard. And the matress on the bed in the 2nd bedroom was super soft , so much so that when you laid down you could sink down too much. However, no bed is ever going to be like your own. the only true downfall was the front porch, the boards felt like they might give ? Not sure if it was just from over time. This too was just slight imperfection and didn’t effect our stay. We will be staying again soon I’m sure.

Weekend meet

Perfect spot not far from the beach. The floorboards on the porch were concerning. Other than that we have nothing negative to say. Cozy for the four of us. Whatever we needed supermarket and restaurants are nearby.

The house was really nice, everything was perfect!

The house was really nice, much more space than we needed three visitors. Everything was perfect! Definitely recommend if you are looking for something really spacious with a nice kitchen and private living area. Good value for a clean, nice and safe stay in Galveston. We would like to recommend the house to guests who like lovingly furnished apartments with good water pressure.

Cute place convenient location

Cute little house, recently remodeled to be nice and clean. Will warn that the wood floor and deck are old pier & beam so even though they were sound, expect some give when walking. Was centrally located near the areas we wanted to be. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teen boys. 1 boy took the extra room and the other was happy with the couch. Nice for a long weekend getaway.

Great place to stsy!

The owners made everything easy! Lots of supplies like cooking oil, pots and pans, ice, stuff to clean with. We did miss having sugar, salt and pepper, tea and a blender.

Flamingo Fest Retreat

VERY convenient to nearby attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Street lights are spread out but still felt safe. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and shower soap, the bathrooms only had 1 small travel size. We used the Italian restaurant listed in the book.... amazing!! Plus they delivered! Defiantly staying here again. The only complaint the front door takes 2 keys. A bit inconvenient because our hands were usually full.

Excellent all-around

So glad we decided to select this property for a quick trip to Galveston over Presidents' Day weekend. The property and location were as expected. Did not need to contact the owners regarding any issues during the stay, but did contact Ike regarding a couple of logistical check in/out aspects. Very responsive, which was an indication to me the same would have been true had I contacted him with any actual issues. Property was very clean. Coffee and condiments provided for the entire stay was very nice. Location was an easy, quick walk to the Seawall and Pleasure Pier specifically (this is from someone who doesn't walk very quickly). No complaints, and we will definitely consider staying here again for our next trip to Galveston.

Budget Friendly Close to Attractions

Overall, this was a decent house with excellent access to the beach and Pleasure Pier. However, this is a basic VRBO house with no frills or extras. For example, there were no extra paper towels (the roll in the kitchen was almost out), no additional trash bags, no cleaners available, no kitchen towels, no board games, no lamps, etc. That being said, the house was clean and comfortable, the mattresses and sheets were nice, and the kitchen/bathroom were beautiful. Also, the washer/dryer were a much needed lifesaver. If you are looking for an economical place to stay, close to attractions, this is the place for you.

Perfect location for exploring Galveston

I highly recommend this property as a base for exploring all there is to do in Galveston. Three key points… Location, cleanliness, and parking! Location… the home is on a side street close to the Pleasure Pier, that means it’s an easy walk to the pier, or the beach, or to a few restaurants such as Fishtails. The street is perpendicular to and three blocks from the Seawall. There is very little traffic on this street because it doesn’t go all the way to the main drag. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking… Unlike most homes on the island, you have a private drive to park in. Cleanliness… The house is close to 100 years old on the outside, but almost brand new on the inside. TV in the living room and in the smaller bedroom connects to your steaming service. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable mattresses make this house a winner. Ike, our host, was very attentive and easy to reach, although we had no problems to worry about. Five outta five stars!
