Turtle Cove was more than we expected after booking. The home was clean, well prepared, centrally located, with great views and privacy. We can't wait to book again next year.

A beautiful, cozy house with stunning pond view and gorgeous sunsets. Sweet smells and the occasional turtle sighting. The back deck is perfect for Scrabble matches and al fresco meals.

a definite repeat experience!The home was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the island outdoor activities and meals. This is a wonderful place for spreading out with lots of nooks and crannies and big tables plus seating for coming together.

We were excited for our long-planned trip, but our experience was completely different from the glowing reviews we had read. The property had not been cleaned when we arrived, and although the hosts scrambled to remedy that while six of us waited on the deck, the cleaning crew could not do a thorough job under the circumstances. There were insect infestations throughout the house, and the path to the lake was impassable. The deck was nice, and we were determined to make the best of it (we are far from picky), but we cannot recommend the property.

We are very sorry for the confusion from our cleaners who mistakenly believed check in was the next day. This was the first time this has happened and we could not have worked harder to fix this mistake. As for the trail to the pond, if you know anything about Block Island, the trails tend to get over grown very fast and during the harsh spring several large trees fell across the trail. They are difficult to get to but we worked very hard to clear most of the trees but we couldn't get to the last obstruction. Of course, we offered the renters access to the pond from our neighbors yard. That access was very clear. We are sorry for these renters experience, however the house is clean, convenient, and a wonderful island home. Please note every other review!

Lovely spot.

Lovely spot with a beautiful deck and living area. Very private but not too far from town. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect BIRI getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip staying at this gem. It was spacious, clean, homey and close to town. The view from the deck is great. Jon and Julie are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely home, had everything we could possibly need. Such a pleasure. The downstairs floor does get damp during these heat waves and humidity, but that is my only complaint. And we love that it was dog friendly.

Our family loved the privacy and rear view overlooking a large pond. The house offers a unique 4 level layout with the kitchen, dining & family rooms that take advantage of the pond. Drive to old harbor was 5 min or short 20 min walk, great location! Jon (host) was extremely responsive!! Strongly recommend!!!

The house was great, large to fit the whole family, has a wonderful deck overlooking the pond. We made good use of the kayaks and all the lawn games in the shade. Jon was helpful and answer all our questions. Would stay here again. Thank you Jon.

Our Return to Turtle Junction!

We loved staying at Turtle Junction a little over 2 years ago and could not wait to return. What a great stay! Turtle Junction never disappoints! The property is always super clean, has everything you need in the kitchen to be comfortable preparing meals, and there is plenty of room to relax. Jon is always available to answer any questions and is a great host. We can’t wait for our next trip!

Wonderful Rental

The house is cozy yet spacious. Immaculately clean. Anything guests would need is at your fingertips. The back deck is spacious with a gorgeous view of the conservancy. We will be back!
