Spacious 4-Season Vacation Home in Waitsfield

This well-equipped, modern house located in the Mad River Valley is a great place to gather with family and friends. It's located two miles from both Mad River Glen and Sugarbush's Mt Ellen resort. Easy access off of Route 100 to Warren (10 minutes), Waterbury (25 minutes), Stowe (40 minutes), Burlington (50 minutes), and Montpelier (20 minutes).

The house comfortably sleeps 9 (2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and three twins) with three full bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen with a gas range will accommodate all of your cooking needs. The house also has wifi, cable TV, a hot tub, and a ping pong table.

Great house, just as described. Would definitely book this house again, if in the area. Close to skiing, golf, hiking, restaurants. Fire pit on the patio. We had a great long weekend.

Amazing house and location! House feels like a true home, with so many accommodations and fun activities. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and ski resorts. Would absolutely stay again.

Great house, perfect for 2 families to enjoy Sugarbush and surrounding areas. Anne reached out to welcome us and was resposive to our inquiries. We enjoyed ringing in the new year enjoying the hot tub with a light snow fall and a ping pong tournament. House was stocked with everything we needed to feed everyone.

Great Stay with All the Little Things

House was great! It is well stocked with towels, blankets, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. Location is great for MRG or Sugarbush skiing. Would definitely stay again.

Great house in a great location in the Mad River Valley!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house! Very spacious with room for everyone. Central location for enjoying the area as well. The kitchen was amazing, hot tub and fire pit also added to the charm of this house! We would definitely stay here again!

Fall weekend

Our stay at this house was absolutely wonderful. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessaries to make a family dinner. Furniture was comfortable and the hot tub worked! The location is great also. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent stay!

This was a wonderful property very close to sugarbush. Anne was the perfect host, left little treats for us to enjoy and a fully stocked kitchen. The house itself is lovely and has all the extras to make it feel homey and comfortable. We hope to visit again!

The perfect long weekend.

This may be the mecca for nature-lovers, fly-fishing, skiiing, and craft beer! Anne's house is spacious yet cozy and perfect for enjoying family and friends in a comfortable, relaxing setting. With perfect view of the eclipse, the weekend was unforgettable!

Pre Christmas week

The house was lovely, and the host really went above and beyond making us comfortable with a lot of extra special touches. It was easy to relax into vacation immediately. The property fit our family well.

Relaxing and welcoming spot

We stayed for 3 nights in Anne's home and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and fully stocked. Everything we needed was available to us to make meals, relax and even lots of info to find local attractions. Outdoor seating whether to enjoy a meal, or by the fire was great. Though it took a bit of time for the hot tub to heat, it was a wonderful way to end our day. We would recommend this place to all those looking for a comfortable and relaxing spot.

Norwich graduation

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in Anne’s home. The home is exactly as described. Special details and amenities are provided for your stay. This was a perfect place for my family and I while we visited for my sons graduation from Norwich University which was about a 30 min drive. Check in/out process was a breeze. The owner is very responsive if you need to contact her. I would definitely recommend this home for your future stay.

Amazing place, host, and location

The home is great and spacious and features all amenities that any home would have. The location is outstanding - 10 minute drive to sugarbush and an even shorter drive to Mt. Ellen. Town is only about 5 minutes away and features some really quality places to eat (Mad Taco and Lawson’s Finest). Anne is an amazing host - as good as it gets! Our young kids loved the bunk beds, hot tub, and all the toys and colouring materials that Anne put out for them. Highly recommended!

Well Equipped House with Lots of Space

Anne’s home is a great place for a large family or extended family to stay. We loved the fact that three bedrooms have king or queen beds and the adjoining room to the bunk room was great for the kids. Our kids loved the kids table with toys and art supplies as well as the ping pong and basketball in the basement. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire, relaxing in the hot tub and the deck. It’s a nice short drive into downtown. The home did get rather hot and humid a few days, but there were plenty of fans left by the owner.

Wonderful ski vacation

Our family (parents + three kids, ages 12, 9, and 5) stayed here MLK weekend to ski at Sugarbush and could not have had a more wonderful weekend! The property was in a prime location, just minutes from Mt Ellen and the main Sugarbush resort, which was ideal for 3 days of skiing. The house was exactly as advertised/pictured and it was the perfect place to relax each night after a day on the slopes. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked, the beds were comfortable, and our kids thoroughly enjoyed all the games and toys that were in the house (especially the ping pong table and the basketball shooting game in the basement!) If you're looking for a home away from home to explore the area, you can't go wrong here - we hope to be back in the future!

Waitsfield, Vermont

We were very comfortable at the Waitsfield, Vermont property. The house met all our expectations and was exactly as described. It was comfortable, had a great kitchen and provided enough space for 3 adults and 2 very active children. The location was great for us. We were quite close to the village of Waitsfield and to Mad River Glen ski area. Sugarbush and Warren Vt., were just down the road. Anne was a gracious host, provided provisions for our use, toys for the kids, and great information about hiking opportunities. We had a great time and would recommend this vacation property. Thoughtful, bespoke….everything we needed and more

We had an enjoyable 5 night stay at Anne’s home which is situated nestled by trees very close to the quaint town of Waitsfield with its covered bridges, shops, picturesque spots, grocery shops and restaurants. Mad River Glen and the Appalachian Gap is not far away with lots of photo and hiking opportunities. Anne’s home is welcoming and lovingly decorated with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need to cook all your meals and a pantry well supplied if you find yourself missing something. We truly felt at home especially after a long day exploring Vermont and needing a good rest for the night. We highly recommend staying at Anne’s for location as well as for being a friendly and responsive host. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to visit again.
