The perfect break from the hustle and bustle of life. The mountain views were stunning. The river was a constant relaxing white noise. The dog loved the exploring on the land and the kids loved the comfy sofas and board games. We all slept well in the comfy beds too.Perfect location for aviation fans as the boys all were up in the Mach loop pretty quickly if they saw some of military planes on route!

Very satisfied with the stay. Property is clean, very well maintained and provides absolute comfort. Very well designed floor plan with absolutely beautiful views from every window. Easy excess to main road yet secluded behind trees, small hill and River. If you like no neighbour, this place is for you. Location is tranquil, with beautiful views of Mountain from a patio in the back and river in the front. With lot of grounds around to walk and play. Well equipped with TV channels, board games and DVD collection.A must visit place also close to sea side. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful place to stay. A few glitches along the week which were generally sorted in a good time frame. The property has everything you need and is very spacious. Stunning surroundings and great for our two dogs who could run around freely.

The location of this house is outstanding. The main living space gives you fabulous views and the bedrooms are spacious and also have views. We often woke with sheep on our doorstep and the sound of the river was a constant soothing sound. You are immersed in the best of Welsh countryside. We highly recommend.

We LOVED our stay!! The home is a bit quirky but really well appointed and roomy. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. I could have sat in the window seat overlooking the river for at least another week. The drive through the farm yard is a bit tricky, use satnav and mind the instructions. Wear boots and be prepared to open gates. But that's part of the adventure and makes the whole experience feel truly authentic. We'd love to return, if ever our travels bring us back to Wales. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

This was such a wonderful escape. If you’re looking for somewhere in the middle of nowhere with no one around, with the most spectacular scenery then look no further. Even my teenage kids enjoyed being away and exploring.

Beautiful and remote location if you love being by running water, don't mind the occasional sheep in the garden and want spectacular views of the valley and mountains either side!The house is lovely - really well equipped and nicely presented. Ideal if you have a large family or need a decent amount of space. It's a great location for hiking (Cader Idris is almost literally on the doorstep!) and the beach at Tywyn is lovely. Ruth was very helpful when we had a problem with a dripping tap - sending Dave the Plumber around asap!

The mill is a perfect stay for anyone looking for peace and quiet in the Welsh countryside. The property is a perfect blend of traditional character and modern design, with fantastic surroundings and views. It’s a great location for hiking and the beach too. We’ll definitely be back!There’s plenty of crockery and cookware at the property and the towels and bedding provided were lovely. Just make sure you bring all the food you’ll need as there aren’t too many shops nearby.

We did have a few problems finding but that was probably just us. The house is beautiful,bigger than I thought and so quiet and peaceful.

The host was really helpful, and the info she sent us was above and beyond. The house (and location) is stunning. A proper retreat. We found everything we needed in the house to make our stay really comfortable.

Y Félin is such a special place to stay - beautifully situated by a river in the most stunning countryside. The cottage is really spacious and comfortable, pet friendly and to a high standard. Would totally recommend and we will be back

Amazing house- lovely stay

Our stay was amazing- location, size and surroundings are fantastic….! We stayed 5 people and house is large to accommodate and amenities are all handy… from dishwasher to cooking areas and dishes huge living room with a lot of book, films, games Can’t wait to come back soon

Lovely place

Had four nights at Y Felin with family. Wonderful place, some great walks on the doorstep and the house was nicely furnished and well equipped (save for the lack of a toaster).
