What an amazing view from the cottage , loved it . Great walks from your doorstep . The outside table and chairs need replacing and the builders rubble ( quarry tiles ) should be removed from bottom of the stairs up to cottage . Hooks on doors is always very handy Graham was good to deal with , would stay again .

Great location for those interested in hiking and exploring the many local trails. Walking distance to the beach and Barmouth town for shopping or pubs. Dog friendly with ample of space in the back yard camping site. Great for city get away.

Great stay

Lovely clean property, great location and off the main road so no traffic noise and fantastic hosts, totally recommended and we can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful location, tucked out of the way. We are used to small lanes but the track up maybe difficult for some. Shops in nearby town and restaurants. Any dogs need to be animal friendly as sheep are likely to wander into the enclosed space.

Outstanding views

The elevated property provides panoramic amazing views. Very quiet and serene. The people about town were friendly and helpful. The dog friendly PUBS were amazing.

Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Waking up to the most incredible views is enough to secure the 5 star rating. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back.

Agnes Fach Cottage

Location was absolutely perfect with amazing view from lounge! Cottage was very comfortable and quiet, and the hosts, Graham and Anne were very helpful. We only had two nights but could have done with more to explore the local area more. Dog also had a great time, he loved his daily exercise in the field!

Fabulous views from a comfortable cottage with good access to Barmouth & surrounding countryside

A lovely comfortable compact cottage with the most fabulous mountain and sea views. There are lots of great walks right on the doorstep and Barmouth has good enough train & bus links allowing you to explore further afield without driving. It’s a 5 min drive or 30 min walk into the town where there are several good restaurants and pubs. Graham & Anne are very welcoming with plenty of good advice about the local area.

Beautiful location, wonderful place!

The little cottage is very comfortable. It has everything you need for a good holiday. The view from the terras is stunning!! The cottage is located on a small and lovely camping area. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and are very helpful. We had an amazing time around Barmouth! Hiking, swimming, cycling. Endless possabilities!

Lovely remote location with fantastic views to both the sea and across to Cadar Idris. We loved that you could walk into Barmouth via the footpaths through the high grazing and wooded slopes that dropped into the town below. Very pet friendly which we needed with two small dogs. The WiFi was a little patchy at times so watching shows through apps on the tv was a little hit and miss. No issues with mobile phone connection though with a good 4G signal. The kitchen could do with a few new utensils and a new frying pan but oven, microwave and induction hob all do their job well. Host was very friendly and helpful. Showers nice and powerful and hot.

Friendly welcome. Wonderfull little apartment in a great location with fantastic views. Everything you need is there. Wi-Fi and barbecue are a disaster. Still, I would definitely recommend it.

All about the view!

The amazing view over the estuary towards Cader Idris was stunning.We enjoyed watching the birds on the patio. Despite hail, snow, thunder and lightening and rainbows, sun and gales we all had a great break.Thank you.

Absolutely Stunning

On arrival we were blown away with the views, and the gorgeous property and received a warm welcome from the owners. This haven ticked all the boxes. Stunning walks from the front door. Warm, cosy house with panoramic views of the mountains & sea. Can’t fault it. We will be back to this happy place very soon. A big thank you to the owners for making this special place available to us.

Exquisite views

The location and scenery were fabulous. The only reason I didn’t score overall 5 stars is because the cottage could benefit from a deep clean (I’m asthmatic and allergic to the mould in the bathroom and bedroom and household dust ) also, a bit of DIY required ( taps loose bathroom and kitchen ) . That apart, it was worth every penny.

Spontaneous break

Last minute decision to take a break. searched on line and found this fantastic cottage can't recommend the venue enough, an orchestra of natures music to wake to and veiws to compete with anywhere you choose to name. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Thank you Ann and Graham

A cosy cottage in breathtaking surroundings

I genuinely done know where to start as so many wonderful things to mention. The barn is really warm and cosy, has the best showers we've ever used anywhere, has everything you need for your stay, comfortable beds, and the views.. ohhh the views! Spectacular estuary, sea and mountain views with scenic walks right from the barn. We hardly used our car all week. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us. We will definitely be coming back. I done know who loved it most, us or our 2 dogs!

Beautiful location and outlook

There is a campsite just outside this property - empty when we stayed, however so beautifully quiet. Warm let with good showering and hot water. Average beds. Tired kitchen but all working. Beware - no internet for TV or streaming on any of the evenings we were there - fine all day then dead at night. Owner unable to help. Spoilt things in many ways. But wonderful outlook over the mountains. Walking wonderful too. Bad mobile signal in house. Great - if you don't need C21 comms.

Get away

Lovely property very friendly owners setting was frist class beautiful spot to come back to after a day out you can spend all week here just doing some of the walks right from the property. Whoch means yoy can be far from the madening crowds. Y0ou can also camp here beautiful spot to camp and sit and look at the wiews of the mountains and the sea and valley all from the same place. Any one wishing to get away from it all should stay here . It is on the mountain so people who dont have good mobiilty maybe would find it difficult to walk from this place. Very narrow road to get up to this place. I loved coning back here as there is no where in the world like it and at this time of the year the wild flowers and gardens are beautiful.. i would e Recomend this place to stay . Will be returning thanks for having us and also thanks from the dog he really enjoyed his stay to
