Brilliant stay in a great property. We loved it! The perfect location a few minutes walk to the beach and coast path. Turning left at the beach it’s a short stroll into Falmouth. We were very grateful for the warm welcome, easy check in and recommendations that arrived in advance. We’d really recommend this place and big thanks to Sharon & John for their hospitality. They had thought of everything - thank you

Sarah, we’re very surprised you found the water from Shower and taps too hot, but they are separate systems. It’s a new electric shower, thermostatically controlled and fully independent from the ‘hot water’ system. We acknowledge that water from the hot taps is ‘hot’ which is why we display warning signs by each tap. We’re so disappointed you scored us down for this, when we feel we go above and beyond on the cleanliness and the detail of facilities and goodies we choose to leave for you. Additionally we hired in extra help to be able to offer you early access into the property on your day of arrival. We pride ourselves and work very hard on receiving nothing less than 5 stars. The rating we receive impacts massively on our business.

The property no fault ,except stairs leading up to apartment to steep for 85yr old mother,and decking chairs needed bar across at bottom due to slats on decking ,as had to place carefully due to gaps in decking,otherwise all co complaints, thank you .

We have stayed here a few times now and its is always fantastic, great location, great size, nice and quiet but handy for two beaches within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment

Really comfortable apartment made even better by the host who had left fresh flowers in every room and a lovely hamper. Brilliant location. Just a few minutes walk to Swanpool Beach and then along the coastal path to Falmouth. Thank you.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Had an amazing stay. The property was exactly as described and our hosts were even kind enough to leave us a welcome basket. Incredibly spacious property and just a stones throw from the beach with some lovely walks afforded. Property was spotless and even kitted out with indoor and outdoor entertainment to suit anyones fancy. John was easy to communicate with and check in was a doddle. Ample parking at the property too and everyone living in the area was very friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough

Loved every moment of it

It was an all-round lovely holiday. The apartment is great and exactly what we expected from the pictures. The Ashes are extremely helpful, we were more than warmly welcomed and taken care of, even with detailed advice on possible excursions, events and places to go out. Falmouth and the surrounding area have so much to offer, from beach holidays and walks to cultural highlights. Loved every moment of it.

Charming Apartment

We ejoyed the days in the apartment with a nice view in an attractive position near a beach.The apartment has 3 charming bedrooms with 3 "french sized" beds. The bathroom was attractive, the shower was in the handling a bit unusual for us. We have been appreciated kindly with fresh flowers and local gifts. So we had a wonderful time in Cornwall. Thank you!

Great seaside holiday. The apartment is about 5 minutes walk from the beach, in a quiet development with sea views. Comfortably furnished and well equipped with a brand new power shower, washer, dryer and dishwasher in the kitchenette. The hob in the kichen is an old fashioned electric model which is very slow to heat up and could do with updating. All the bedrooms open directly onto the central living/kitchen space, which has large open windows onto the balcony, making it very airy and pleasant. The layout means there is no real escape from a noisy family however. John is a charming host and was very responsive to fixing a couple of small problems.

A well thought out holiday home with lovely owners

We really enjoyed the stay in Falmouth. The owners were very supportive before our trip when I had technical issues accessing the documents. There was a welcome tray of local food and a card with more details and a a warm welcome. They have thought of many things - a basket for shoes, loads of storage space for bags, a hook for wetsuits, pegs for the line, and a comprehensive kitchen of utensils and crockery for self catering to name a few. Some you have to look for - we found the place mats on day two and the dish drainer on the last day so do have a look because it's probably there. The location is quiet with no noisy neighbours. It's a good location to explore the local area on foot or by car. We really enjoyed our time, thank you.

A Perfect Holiday Stay – Thoughtful Hosts & Ideal Location! From the moment we booked, our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating! They promptly shared detailed information about the property, local area, and even helped us arrange an earlier check-in, which was hugely appreciated.When we arrived, we were welcomed with a lovely card, Cornish treats, and milk in the fridge – such a thoughtful touch! The attention to detail continued throughout our stay: fresh-cut flowers in every room, shower gel provided in the bathroom, and little extras that made us feel truly cared for.The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach, an easy stroll into Falmouth, and plenty of cafés nearby. It gave us the freedom to enjoy adventures without needing to drive everywhere. A taxi back from Falmouth in the evening cost around 10, and there’s also a local bus service, though we didn’t try it.Our group included two young adults, and the setting worked brilliantly for us – close enough to enjoy time together but with plenty of options for everyone to do their own thing too.We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-located, and beautifully hosted getaway.

What a gem this flat was! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our family felt very welcomed. The space was beautifully kept and done up with fresh floral arrangements dispersed throughout by the lovely host, Sharon. I always felt this amazing serenity and coziness as our family would wind down each day and wake up each morning. Such wonderful vibes! Our family made some fond memories of this space during our stay. Both John and Sharon were highly responsive throughout the process from booking to check in to check out, and we had the pleasure of meeting them both as John offered to give us a lift to and from the train stations on arrival and departure. We would absolutely stay here again whilst visiting Falmouth, if the opportunity presents itself.

Hoewel de buitenkant van het gebouw eenvoudig oogt was het appartement verrassend moi en gezellig. Op ieder kamer verse bloemen op de vaas geeft een heel fijn welkom. Het appartement ligt echt op loopafstand van swanpool en gylly beach, superfijn! Falmouth zelf is ook leuk om te bezoeken. Wij waren onder de indruk van cornwall: helder blauw water, mooie verborgen baaien en een perfect coast pad om te wandelen. Ook de verschillende dorpjes waren heel gezellig.

Beautiful apartment only a few minutes walk to the beach. The hosts were amazing and the little extras such as a welcome pack and fresh flowers in all the rooms made us feel really welcome. Sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves and watching the squirrels and birds in the garden was wonderful.

Sehr netter Vermieter, die Wohnung ist großzügig und geräumig, es ist alles da was man braucht, dass Design gefiel mir auch ausgesprochen gut. Sehr leckere Pizza und Bier im Pub! Man kommt auch recht gut von Reading mit dem Zug nach London. Gerne wieder!

Blumiger Empfang und angenehme Tage am Meer

Wir reisten als Familie mit 3 Kinder an die Küste von Cornwall. Wir wurden in der Wohnung mit Blumen empfangen. John and Sharon waren sehr entgegen kommend und sehr angenehme Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation glaubte super. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und genügte all unseren Bedürfnissen.

Swanpool in sunny September

Very clean, as described. Good overall facilities. Terrace to sit out. Plenty of room apart from kitchen area. Easy walk down to beach front (note short uphill return) through estate & walks along cliffs in both directions. Pity there's not a more local general shop as we wished to use car less. Owners left welcome pack which included items relating to a dietary requirement which was a thoughtful nice touch.

Great host, close to the beach & public transport to the town centre, apartment was well presented

Couldn’t of been happier with the help from the host, a well looked after apartment & well presented to us. All the fine details were translated to us well & the holiday we had there went really well.

Fantastic apartment in great location. 5 minute walk to beach.

Gorgeous find, clean with lots of home comforts and lots of little extra details. Great balcony to sit on with sun on most of day. 5 minute walk to the nearest beach with cafe and Resturant close by. 30 minutes beautiful coastal walk into Falmouth. Would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to be back again 😊

Amazing....again

We found this amazing place last year and booked to come again this year. As last year it was spot on, John the owner was easy to contact and very helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. The position of the property for Swanpool beach is excellent and just a short walk to another amazing beach with cafe! The property has great views in a very quite a peaceful neighbour hood with plenty of free parking. I would highly recommend this property and would stay again.
