Home is a only a 1 to 2 minute walk to the beach through the sand to the uncrowded beach of our small community.
Come enjoy the warm Gulf waters along sugar white beaches void of the maddening crowds and commercialism. Cool down in your own private pool with majestic views of both Mobile Bay and the Gulf of America. The Fort Morgan area offers a little known retreat from the over crowded beaches further east. All the amenities without the hassle!

Great House

We very much enjoyed our stay! The owner contacted us before we arrived to let us know there were a few items that needed to be addressed. Everything was fixed within an hour of us being there. The house is updated, close to the beach and the pool was a nice bonus. We did leave a day early because of the forest fire. We did not want to get stranded if the roads closed. This obviously was not the owner’s fault. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Beach Getaway

This is the second year we have stayed at the property and we have enjoyed all that it provides. It is a modern, secluded home that is a 20-minute drive from the traffic of Gulf Shores. It is a < 1 minute walk to a quiet stretch of beach. Great property for families.

Awesome property and great location

This was our 4th stay in Fort Morgan. We love Dream Big. It is the perfect size for our family. Brenda is quick and responsive to all questions. This trip we went to Naval Museum and a Blue Wahoos game. Also enjoyed a class with Sand Castle university, part of our group went to a concert at The Wharf, and did The Fun Boat dolphin cruise. Most days we spent enjoying the beach and pool. It was a great trip!

cozy, comfortable beach house

Loved staying in Fort Morgan for the first time. This house has easy access to a beautiful unspoiled beach with lots of privacy. The home is very clean and well stocked. The decor is calming and tastefully done. It is apparent that the owner has taken great care to anticipate the needs of her renters. Having a back deck with a private pool and lounging area was a much appreciated bonus! Highly recommend.

Fabulous views…Great house

The house is very clean and is just a short walk from the beach. We would definitely stay here again. The pool was great to spend the day lounging. However, the pool is not heated and is extremely cold. Also, the owners do not supply toilet paper. Basically, what is on the roll is what you get for the entire stay. So, be sure to bring your own. Overall, it is a fabulous house and we had a great vacation.

Great Location for a Quiet Beach Getaway

This property checked all the boxes for those wanting an updated property that away from the larger beach communities / resorts. While the property is about 20 minutes from town, it has all the amenities that you would require. The property is less than a two minute walk to the beach (ideal for kids), is large enough that a family of four had plenty of room to spread out, and is modern / clean. We would certainly stay here again. If booking this property my only recommendation is to bring extra tp, paper towel, and laundry detergent. The property only provides one roll per room and no detergent. This will prevent you from having to make the 20 minute drive back into Gulf Shores to get extra supplies.

Wonderful stay

Our family of 5 (kids age 5-6) had a wonderful trip! The home is fully stocked with everything you need and the views are amazing! We loved drinking coffee on the front deck and even saw dolphins from the house one afternoon.

Quiet Location with Easy Walk to the Beach

House was clean and lovely! Quiet location, short & easy walk to the beach! The back deck and pool was a wonderful area to to relax. Also enjoyed the two-storied porches with ocean views. Convenient outdoor showers to rinse off after beach trips. A little off the "beaten path" provided a quiet beach side atmosphere and just what our group was looking for. We ate at Sassy Bass Amazin Grill and Sassy Bass Cookout Tiki Bar, both only a few minutes from the house, and each member of our group would recommend both locations! Over all, we had a wonderful stay at this house!

Family Getaway

This is the perfect property and location for a private family getaway. The beach was OURS and the kids caught some of the biggest crabs we have ever seen at night. We will be going back.

Nice home, but make sure you document everything

Home was nice, walk to beach was easy. If your staying here, bring your own frying pan, all the frying pans were warped. Also bring a kitchen spatula, there wasn't one. And very importantly, document everything in the house before you move in. There was an ink stain on the couch when we got there, that the owner insists we did. Lesson learned, document to cover yourself. House doesn't allow smoking, of course most don't, but, one of my guest was a smoker , who apparently didn't always keep it outside. However she laid it on thicker and heavier by claiming additional damages that we absolutely did not cause, or were the result of regular wear and tear, such as walking on the floor. She contacted me directly at first instead of going thru Vrbo, which I have since found out vrbo frowns on. This was my very first time to rent thru Vrbo. I doubt I ever will again.

Fantastic house with great location!

We have never stayed in Fort Morgan but decided to try it out this summer for our family vacation and we are so happy we did!! The area is beautiful and quiet and a great place to relax on vacation! We rented this house for my husband and I and our 2 young children and it was perfect!! Everything was exactly as the owner said it would be and the house was very clean when we arrived! Also very convenient to the beach (just a very short walk) and let me tell you that is so great when you have hot tired kids in tow after a day at the beach! The water hoses under the deck area right near the back door make everything super convenient to wash off before coming inside! The kitchen had everything we needed and more! All in all a great stay and hope to stay at this house again next year!!

PERFECT.

Our family had the best vacation at Dream Big! We have stayed at many different vacation homes in several states. This house is by far the best. It felt like home. First, the location is great. It's not oceanfront, but it nearly is. The views of the ocean from the balconies are wonderful. The home is tastefully decorated. The owner, Brenda thought of everything a renter would need, and then some. The pool is an added bonus. Brenda was wonderful. Anytime I messaged her, she responded quickly. We will come back to Fort Morgan again and will definitely pick Dream Big to stay. Thank you, Brenda for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Sunny and hot

The house was beautiful. Everything was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. I must say this was my most uncomplicated booking. There was no need to call the owner for anything.

Excellent private getaway spot

Our family of four had a fantastic stay! House was very clean, tastefully decorated, included all amenities possible and is perfectly located : just steps to the beach & away from the crowds. Pool was definitely a bonus ! Brenda was very attentive and answered all my “silly” questions within minutes. We would definitely recommend this property !!!

Quiet Beach House on Amazing Sand Beach!

My family and I had a great time at this property! The house is located along a beautiful white sand beach. I didn't realize quiet and beach house would ever be used together but this house is it. Truly a hidden gem! The house is decorated impeccably and there wasn't anything the kitchen was missing. It had absolutely everything we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived. I would highly recommend this property!!!

Great Getaway

House was as advertised. A quiet retreat right on the beach, clean and newly renovated. It was a great opportunity to escape the colder midwest and spend a week on the beach playing all the great local golf courses.

Charter Fishing Trip

Property was just what we wanted in October. 5 minute drive to Off the Hook Charters for a lifetime fishing trip. Then got to come back and relax by the pool and short walk to sit and in enjoy the beach. Great place to stay. Only 15 minute drive back to town but you get to enjoy the quietness when relaxing on the uncrowded beach.

Great family spot

Wonderful! Just be sure to bring some extras like toilet paper garbage bags and dishwasher detergent. To be honest that might be listed somewhere that I didn’t see. But we had a wonderful time. Beach was clean no crowds. Awesome pool especially for small kids and open empty lot next door for some sand fun while we sat on the front porch.

We have a beautiful 5 year old daughter and a large extended family. When we bought 'Dream Big' the year after our daughter was born. She truly was the answer to our prayers and our 'Big Dream' come true.

My husband lived in Fort Morgan when he was in high school. His family home was about 2 miles from where our house is now. It was taken out by Hurricane Fredrick in 1979. It was like coming home for him. Also, since I sell real estate in the area it was easy for me to know the exceptional value, wonderful privacy and the tremendous beauty of the Fort Morgan Area.

The privacy and the beautiful white sandy beach is just the beginning. The pool is a wonderful bonus. Then you add the wonderful sunsets and just sitting on the deck in the wonderful chairs (my husband built) watching the dolphins and shrimp boats. It truly is 'Paradise' on Pleasure Island - as all the locals call the it.
