Beautiful Victorian in the heart of Dogpatch !

Welcome to Dogpatch ! The sunniest , most centrally located neighborhood in San Francisco! Just a 20 minute taxi or Lyft/Uber ride from SF Airport and minutes to downtown. We are a short walk to Dogpatch's numerous cafes and restaurants. Short walk to Chase Center, ATT Ball Park, the SF Waterfront, and UCSF Mission Bay Hospital and research centers.
Walk through the new UCSF/Mission Bay campus to Moscone Center and downtown in 30 minutes or less!
Our beautiful, Victorian duplex (built 1897) is full of original wood detailing. Light filled and roomy, our two level flat has 3 available bedrooms (plus additional sleeping space for 1 if needed) can comfortably sleep three couples or 4 singles. Two full bathrooms, including a original Victorian "claw foot" bath tub downstairs ,and large, custom master bathroom upstairs. A large, deck with great morning sun is directly adjoining the gourmet kitchen (with 6 burner, commercial, Wolf stove). Upstairs, adjoining the master bedroom is a private deck with city views and cozy den area with TV and seperate third bedroom. Guests will enjoy the large living rooms with beautiful original wood work, large, seperate, dining room with 8 person table ideal for meetings and meals. Esprit Park and the new, Crane Cove Park on the waterfront are short walks from the house!
There is no off St. parking available. Muni and Cal Train stations are a 5 minute walk from the house! We encourage our guests to enjoy the multiple transportation options with out worying about driving, or parking in the City .

Wonderful stay!

Lovely Victorian house in a nice walkable neighborhood. Comfortable with charming decor, lots of room, close to the Muni stop. Beautiful deck and yard with lots of plants, perfect for your morning coffee. Also loved Piccino Italian restaurant within walking distance. Great communication with hosts, would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Victorian house in Dogpatch

Beautiful HUGE house, conveniently located. Four of us stayed for nearly a week to attend a meeting at the Moscone Center - an easy 35-40 minute walk away. Lovely back deck to relax on after the meeting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Great for our group!

We had a great stay at David’s Dogpatch home. We were very comfortable, and loved the quiet neighborhood. We barely spent any time at the house, but loved the time that we did. Would absolutely recommend David’s place.

This home is amazing! Myself, daughter and 3 new inlaws stayed five nights for my Son's wedding. The house is just beautiful, spacious and in a great neighborhood! The owners are very quick at getting back to you if there is questions or concerns. Check-in and checkout process super easy! Highly recommend this gorgeous Victorian! Thank you David for a great stay!

Dogpatch retreat during conference

Three of us enjoyed staying at David's beautiful, historic house in the Dogpatch neighborhood. It was quiet, well equipped, and exceeded our expectations. Communication with the host was easy. It was nice to escape the chaos of Union Square at night.

Fantastic place!

My sister and her family stayed here while visiting us over the holidays and it was a fantastic place! Very spacious and well-appointed. Exactly as pictured. The location is also great — super close to all the Dogpatch restaurants/activity on 22nd and 3rd, but the house itself is very quiet. We only had one little house issue during the stay and it was resolved right away. I’d definitely have friends or family stay here again!

Wonderful!

We gathered to celebrate the holidays early this year in SF with our kids and grandkids! The house was perfect for us! Our kids live down the street, so it was soooo convenient. Our son from LA joined us too and the house was spacious enough to accommodate our festivities!

This place was great! Overall very pleased with our stay. There was one thing that caused me to only give a 3 star review.We accidentally caused some damage to the floor of the place and let the owner know so it can be covered under VRBO's insurance. On check-out day we were supposed to have the place until Noon, but at 10:30AM the owner walked in with no warning scared us. Then basically harassed my travel campanion while we were finishing up cleaning.I understand the owner was upset about the scratches on the floor, but it was inappropriate to enter early and stand over our shoulders while we were finishing cleaning when the checkout was clearly at Noon.

We would like to take exception to a couple of points Sami makes. 1. Without asking permission Sami and guests moved a heavy sofa bed through several rooms that caused over $750 worth of damage to the wood flooring of our SF Victorian. 2. We entered the property prior to the check out deadline as Sami had indicated there was damage to the property. 3. We did not "harass" Sami's associate. We did ask him to explain what happened, he was very sympathetic and apologized to us. We then left the house and waited until he had vacated the property before going back in. 4. In our 10 ears of experience using VRBO we have found 99% of our guests leave several hours prior to the noon deadline however SAmi is correct in that we should have notified him ahead of time that would be an hour early. 5. This is the first time we have had to file a damage claim or had a negative experience with any of our guests.

Easy city access

A beautiful, well-appointed home with easy access to the city by either light rail or ride share. Restaurants and shops within short walk. One thing worth noting- in SanFrancisco (and increasingly in other locations), owners must actually live in the unit for the majority of the year, so you are renting their home, and not a commercial property.

Spacious, characterful SF Victorian

Stayed here for my son's wedding - group of 6 adults. The home is even more spacious than you might realize from the listing, with plenty of living spaces and a huge kitchen and wonderful back deck for Dogpatch's sunny days. Immaculately clean, well furnished, with lots of art on the walls. The owner was very responsive and helpful. And the neighborhood was interesting, with ample dining options within walking distance.

Another great birthday weekend in Dogpatch

What a great location! This is the second year in a row we have stayed in this house. My favorite part is the library room that I choose as mine to sleep in. I love books. We can walk to Oracle park, the house is an old Victorian with all the charm, and the host, David, is very attentive. I highly recommend this house for the location, weather, charm…all the things. Mahalo Nui🌺

Amazing host, amazing neighborhood, amazing home!

We had a fabulous weekend in Dogpatch at this beautiful home. It was cozy and beautiful and had all the amenities (plus some!). The proximity to the adorable neighborhood shops, local dining options, and entertainment (check the house manual, they provided great recommendations!) was just what we were looking for during our trip with friends to the city. The home was a great layout to hose our crew, and we loved all the artwork and personal touches throughout the space. The host was extremely responsive and wanted to make sure we had a great stay in their home. We will absolutely be returning again!

Gem of a property in Dogpatch

We really enjoyed our stay at this great Victorian property. It was close to the T line on the MUNI so it was very easy to get around San Francisco. There were also some nice restaurants close by and quite a few locations that you could pick up any supplies that you would need be it food or something else. Our only disappointment, which was a BIG one for us (maybe not for others though) was the lack of cable or satellite TV. That is the reason that we wouldn't give this 5 stars as we have stayed at many places all over the world and this was the first without cable. That being said, we would definitely stay there again.

Hi Marty, Thanks for the review. Sorry to see you were disappointed about the lack of Cable TV. Your actually our first VRBO customer to mention this as an issue. Up to now all our guests have used their own streaming accounts to access the various sites Netflix, Amazon, PBS, ESPN, etc. using our Apple TV devices. We haven't used Cable ourselves for several years and don't miss it at all. Kind Regards, David
