Memorable

To have a place for our family together for Christmas that was warm, welcoming and inviting was awesome. It was so close to Mission Dr/Hwy 246 that we could just walk to nearby stores and restaurants as well as take short drives to church and other conveniences. If we ever come to stay at Solvang again as a big group, we’d love to come stay here again.

Perfect house!

The whole process of getting in the property was easy. The house was spacious and very clean. It’s so central to the town you can walk just about anywhere in Solvang! Highly reccomend

Wonderful Experience

We had a great time. Being able to walk to town and shop was great. No need for driving. The house was very clean and provided all the accessories we needed. Will definitely rent again!

Bike riding weekend

Perfect location to do anything you want in and around solving there were six of us and we brought our bikes, went bike riding around the area. We cooked at home some nights, and went out to the local restaurants

Great house

Everything was perfect. My family and I enjoyed every moment in this beautiful house. I highly recommend this lovely house. We felt like we were staying in our own house. Also, we spent very good time in jacuzzi. The house was spotless, and beds were very comfortable, and kitchen was full of appliances. The location was great and close to restaurants and shops. We will stay here again.

Weekend get away with sisters

Great location! Right in town yet still quiet. Walkable to everything in the charming town of Solvang and a 10-15 min drive to some lovely vineyards. Stayed a long weekend with my 2 sisters, but would comfortably accommodate 6 adults, or possibly 2 families.

Acceptable Stay, But Privacy Issues

We recently stayed at this property and overall, it was an acceptable experience. But, there were some significant issues and we won’t be staying at this VRBO again. Positives: - Location: The location of the property is excellent. It is a short walk to restaurants and shops. - Property: The property itself met our basic needs. It is clean and had most of the necessary amenities. Negatives: - Communication: There seemed to be a lack of communication between the owner and staff members. This led to an issue where someone walked into the house to work on the kitchen. We were upstairs at the time when we heard someone walk in and thought it was an intruder. - Privacy Violation: This unannounced entry felt like an invasion of our privacy and made the remainder of our stay uncomfortable. - Resolution: The owner offered a bottle of wine or $100 as an apology, which felt inadequate given the severity of the situation. While the location and property were satisfactory, the lack of proper communication and the privacy breach were significant downsides to our experience. We hope the owner will address these issues for future guests.

Clean, comfortable, and great location!

Great place for a mini family vacation. This property is walking distance to everything in town! Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. During our stay the air conditioning went out and the owner went above and beyond to get it fixed quickly. We can’t wait to stay here again soon!

Perfect location, roomy, comfortable

Everything we needed, well stocked, quiet complex and close to everything. When we got there, there was a citywide power outage, I was not aware of it and called the owner. Thankfully the power came back on soon and the gas stove worked for preparing dinner until it did. I would stay here again. It was a very nice place.

Great place!

We took our daughters to visit some colleges and this was a great location for our home base. The accommodations are very nice and it’s a short walk from a number of bakeries and restaurants and other great spots.

Run Sip Santa Barbara

Excellent stay, enjoyed our time in Solvang. Great house for a group. Very comfortable to gather as a group and well appointed sleeping arrangements. Furniture in garage (couch and mattress) limited parking space in the garage due to vehicle sizes. We were only able to park 2 of 3 cars on the property. Would have been nice to have extra towels for the Spa. All said and done, we had a great stay.
