Our cabin has a ramp leading up to the front door for handicap accessibility. It has an open air concept.The kitchen has refrigerator/with ice maker, stove, microwave, toaster, and a regular coffee maker, and hand mixer. It is furnished with utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, some plastic containers, basic cooking utensils,and grilling utensils. There is a picnic style table with benches for dining.
It has 1 bathroom with a tub/shower combination, toilet, and sink. Provided are 6 towels and washrags,soap,and a hairdryer.
It has 2 Bedrooms: 1 Queen & 1 Full Bed - linens, and pillows are provided. There is a
TV in the Queen bedroom in the cabinet.
The Living Room has a Queen sleeper sofa(sleeps 2), 2 Chairs, Gas fireplace, TV, and a DVD player.
There is a washer/dryer combo with detergent provided.
It has a front porch and a screened in back porch, with a gas grill on the back porch open area. There are rocking chairs on both.

Laundry Area: washer, dryer, detergent, and dryer sheets

If you plan to cook during your stay, you will need to bring aluminum foil, plastic wrap, plastic containers, and any non-basic cooking utensils you use.

Clean & Quiet

This is such a lovely park! The cabins are tucked away in the back in a quiet corner. This is one of the cleanest cabins I have ever stayed in, very well maintained too. I will be booking this spot for our annual trip from now on!

Vacation

A friend and I was looking for somewhere to enjoy a quiet time walking and sightseeing. This place offered all of that we had a wonderful time I recommend it to anyone great for family friends, everyone awesome time.

Pleasantly suprised!!! Very nice and easy for handicap!

Only suggestion would be a taller toilet. Very very low to the ground and a hanicap shower with. O step over tub would be awesome but also expensive. Loved it and would stay again!!! Had everything we needed to cook a nice dinner on gas grill!!

Nice Getaway

We had such a relaxing stay in Cabin 2 at Noccalula State Park. The screened in patio and the beautiful hike to the falls were my favorite. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities. We used the gas grill on the patio. The only complaints I have is one of the mattresses could be replaced as it sunk to the middle and the coffee k cup filter leaked grounds in out coffee. Next time I’ll just bring my own coffee pot. These things are minor, I would definitely stay again!

Loved the cabin!

We had a great experience. The cabins are perfect for anyone who likes to camp without actually staying in a tent or camper. All the comforts of home. The cabin was clean and well kept and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

Noccalula Falls Cabins, our home away from home. 💗

My husband and I used to visit Noccalula Falls when we were dating 43 years ago. We even carved our names in one of the trees down in the rock trail area. He lived near the Falls for several years when he was a young boy. His mom grew up on Noccalula Rd. So our entire family has a history with Noccalula Falls. Once we moved back to Alabama, we made it a point to visit the Falls each Spring when everything is in bloom. Since then whenever we were in Birmingham visiting family we would make sure to bring our girls to the Falls. For the past 6 or 7 years we have stayed in the cabins. This year our daughter and her husband and family were able to rent one of the cabins and we rented the other. For my husband and I the cabins are perfect. We especially love the screened in back porch. We have had no complaints ever with any of our dealings with Noccalula Falls park and campground. Our entire family even came up last Christmas. The lights were absolutely beautiful and you had the perfect Santa. Thank you for creating a family destination with so many happy memories for us for our entire lives. 💗

Wedding Day Made Easy

We used the cabin to get ready for my husband and I’s wedding day as well as to stay in for a few days after. The ambiance was perfect, there was plenty of space for people to get ready, it made for beautiful pictures, and staying after was a beautiful experience. Being so close to our favorite hiking trails was great, and being in close proximity to anything we might have needed was great for our peace of mind. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend our wedding!

Getaway weekend visiting Daughter and son-in-law.

Power outage Friday night with storms coming through. Made the best of dark and clear night skies star gazing. Daughter and son-in-law came by for a visit and had a good time hiking trains and listening to the falls on back porch.

Great time

We rented the cabin to be closer to a gymnastics meet and loved the ease of check in and the cabin was great! I wish the weather had been nicer as we didn’t get to do much hiking nor use the provided grill. We will be returning! The black squirrels were a treat!

Christmas at the Falls

My wife and I are in our Golden Years. We enjoy "Cabin Camping" and for the past several Christmas seasons we've chosen Cabin #2 for a short 3-4 day stay. We enjoy Noccalula Falls for the lights, the hiking trails, and the associated peace. Without a doubt, Cabin #2 is the most comfortable and cleanest of the many other abodes we frequent during the year. It's also the most reasonably priced.

Beautiful in the Fall

The waterfall was not flowing, just a trickle but the fall colors were beautiful. The cabin is very nice. We wished we could have stayed much longer.

Gadsden cabin in the woods

Very comfortable, clean property. Enjoyed the screened in backpack, rocking chairs, and peaceful surroundings. The falls were easily accessible.

Beautiful cabin

We had a great time at the park! The cabin was perfect! Extremely clean and cozy. Loved the front porch to hang our wet clothes and bathing suits out on to dry. The back porch was phenomenal to relax with a cup of coffee and enjoy the birds in the morning. Overall great atomosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Longest Yard Sale

We came for the longest yard sale and decided to stay at the cabin to enjoy the park as well. We had a great time. The cabin was just as advertised. We had one problem called and within 15 minutes someone was there to happily assist us. Great cabin and wonderful management

Cabin #2 is a Wonderful getaway spot for family vacations or just for a quiet weekend to relax. Our 90 ft waterfall is an awesome site to see and attracts many visitors to our area. The Noccalula Falls Park is next door. It has a train, some outside animal habitats, pioneer villages, a covered bridge, and a Coy pond. We have the Black Creek Trail that houses several different side trails for walking, hiking, or mountain biking.

Not far from the path of Black Creek Trails, the Noccalula Falls cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. This rustic-style cabin offers a breathtaking overlook of Black Creek a few feet from the screened-in back patio. Our cabin includes 2 bedrooms(1 queen and 1 full), a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, 2 cable televisions(in queen bedroom and living room), WiFi, a full kitchen, full bathroom, gas fireplace, washer/dryer combo, and a gas grill out back. During your stay you may be visited by our friendly groundhog, deer,or black squirrels.We also offer trout fishing here. Black Creek is stocked with trout and can be fished during the months of Nov-April with a valid state license and a trout permit. The trout permit can be purchased from our staff at the campground office.
