Located near the Egg Harbor Marina and off of Whitecliff Road that runs north along the shoreline, Blue Jay offers easy access to things to see and do in Egg Harbor. This one story cottage has one bedroom, one bathroom with single whirlpool tub/shower, living/dining room, fireplace, kitchen and outdoor deck. You can walk to the many activities in Egg Harbor including shops, restaurants and bars, art galleries, free outdoor summer concerts, parks and more. It's only 1/2 mile away from the Egg Harbor beach.

Perfect Spot

The property was in great shape and perfect for our trip to see the colors. We were within walking distance from everything in Egg Habor. Would stay again.

Sweet Bluejay

This home is perfect for two. Location is absolutely stellar, both in Egg Harbor & in Door County. Front porch/deck is a lovely "sit" with morning coffee or evening wine. I would definitely stay again.

Egg Harbor Cabin for two.

Lovely cabin, very close to harbor for walking to view the sunsets . Quiet location. Driveway is very tight, but we made it work.

Anniversary Stay

The size of the property was just right for 2 people and had everything we needed. Whether we used the house as just a 'home base', or if we took a day to just kick back and relax at the property for a day. We were thankful that the air conditioning worked so well on the first 2 days of our stay when there were higher than normal temperatures outside. The parking area was a bit narrow for our full sized truck. My husband had to let me out of the vehicle on the street before parking or I wouldn't have been able to exit the vehicle. Also, the spot is a bit steep. Making the spot a bit wider and level would be helpful. Especially for folks who may have some mobility issues. Thank you for a wonderful carefree stay!

Strong musty smell

Cottage was clean and great location to walk everywhere. The strong musty smell was causing coughing. We had to open windows and door. I would not stay here again.

Blue Jay-June 2024

This was a perfect little cottage in a great location. The large deck was a bonus, especially with our dog. We would definitely stay at the Blue Jay again. A couple towel bars in the bathroom would be helpful, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Fall getaway

Second time I stayed at the Blue Jay. Clean and easy to check when arriving late. Walking distance to alot of things. If you want the beauty of DC but not the over populated Sister bay, this place is perfect.

Adequate

Though clean and cute and pretty much as advertised, there are a few minuses. Very musty smell when you enter. Could use more comfortable bed pillows……and perhaps a more comfortable chair in the living room.

Nice little cottage

The size and location was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy Door county. We had an issue with a fuse during our stay and it was promptly resolved. The weather was a bit humid and it made the inside of the unit smell. I think the carpet should just be replaced and that would fix the issue. But, all in all, it was a great little place.

End of Summer Getaway

This was perfectly located for day trips… We spent a few days exploring the various towns in Door County… this cottage was walking distance from great eating places and the Egg Harbor Marina.

The sweet spot!

This lovely cottage is in an excellent location in Egg Harbor - just off the highway and within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. It’s close to the harbor and boasts a really nice deck. We enjoyed our stay very much. And don’t sleep on Egg Harbor! It’s a beautiful community.

Bare Necessities, Great Location

The house was lovely and straightforward. Perfect for DC summers where you spend most of your time outdoors anyway. Walking to downtown Egg Harbor was so easy and the location certainly was the highlight of our stay. Emily was a great host, easy to communicate with, and even let us check in a bit early! Very kind and we're grateful for her hospitality.

Great little cabin

I was born and raised in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. I attended grade school in Egg Harbor and Gibraltar H.S. in Fish Creek, and I am a UW - Madison graduate. Our family business has been the Alpine Resort and Golf Course in Egg Harbor. After 100 years of ownership, we have sold the business to a new owner. My family continues to rent our eight vacation houses in Egg Harbor seasonally. I have two sons and live in Sturgeon Bay. We have a golden retriever that is very active and playful and he loves to swim.

The Blue Jay house has been in our family from the beginning. It's close to all the great things Egg Harbor (and Door County) has to offer. It's only available for vacations in the spring, summer and fall. My family is very protective of this house and keep it very clean and well maintained.

This house is the perfect little vacation cottage. It's located in an area of private summer homes with lots of trees and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars, the Egg Harbor Marina, galleries, free summer concerts and groceries in Egg Harbor. It's 1/2 mile to the Egg Harbor beach. Located on Whitecliff Road, there's plenty of opportunity for walks with public access to the water every few hundred feet.
