This is a beautiful setting, and we truly enjoyed our time here. The cabin and its decorations were just delightful. And we felt like we were alone for our getaway but close to anything needed. Thank you so much!

The cabin was lovely, very cozy and clean, surrounded by nature and very close to great hiking in Montrose and to Black Mountain, Swanannoa and Asheville. The hosts were very accommodating and great at communicating. The driveway was pretty steep, but manageable. We would stay here again!

Nice clean, comfortable property with a heavily wooded private setting. Comfortable beds especially and everything we needed for a few days while we attended a local wedding. Even let us check in a couple hours early.

Everything was pretty good, we did need to use our phone lights for certain things as the interior is lite a bit too dimly for reading for us.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. John's responses to questions could not have been quicker! The cabin is close to Ashville and The Biltmore while being tucked away in the woods. Directions to the cabin were spot on but be aware of the very steep driveway.

This house has large bedrooms with comfortable beds, a really cool fire pit and a very well stocked kitchen. The weather did not cooperate with our hiking plans, but the house is full of games, puzzles and movies for rainy days, and we found plenty to do and see in downtown Black Mountain. Our host went way out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable and safe in the weather, even making sure the driveway was clear of debris for us to come and go.We would defintely stay here again.

This was a girls’ get away for 3 middle aged women and it was perfect! The cabin was clean and comfortable, had everything we could need or want. The beds were comfy and we had a great time. Hope to return again next year!

We chose thus cabin on our road trip for a unique stay near the mountains. We found it to be a charming, comfortable, and well equipped cabin. My only regret is that we were unable to stay longer! We would love to stay again if our travels take us to Black Mountain. Wonderful hosts and great experience!

Your home was spacious and open, which we enjoyed immensely. Clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were no problems whatsoever. John and Rachel were on the spot communicative and responsive. We highly recommend this home.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and tidy! Such a cozy place in the mountains. It was perfect for our little family getaway. The owners were kind and responsive and even checked on us when they heard a storm warning had come through! We love Black Mountain and are so glad to have a place to come back and stay next time!

The cabin was wonderful! It was fully stocked with everything we needed and felt like home away from home. My family and I had a great time there and we hope to return soon!

This is just a great little cottage. Good location, plenty of space for hanging out...close to hiking and good food. We had a great stay, and always happy when hosts have some coffee / filters and spices in the kitchen so that you dont have to buy everything and can cook for a short stay.Would definitely recommend!

The views were beautiful, cabin was VERY clean, and is just adorable. All appliances work, beds and furniture were super nice. Close to cool shops and great places to eat. We will definitely choose this home again for our vacation needs!
