My 509 Sunsuite is on the private sea island ~ Fripp Island Resort ~ located only 20 minutes from beautiful Beaufort, SC, recently named America’s Happiest Seaside Town by Southern Living & listed a Top 20 Places to See in the World by Forbes. Enjoy a Romantic Couples Escape, Girls Getaway, Fun Fishing Adventure & keep in mind, young children are welcome!

Complete with a Kitchenette, Queen Bed, Bunk beds with privacy door, full bath/tub, you only need to bring your bathing suit & toothbrush. Well, you may want to stop & get your favorite food/snacks! The Marina Store & Springtide Market are on island.

Guests visiting island residents who need their personal space, as well as solutions for weddings, holidays, reunions will love our Sunsuite. Plan to visit Hunting Island State Park with Lighthouse (5 minutes by car), horseback ride, kayak, beachcomb, go shelling, enjoy deep sea fishing, as well as teach your little ones how to cast a shrimp net & do a little crabbing! Free roaming deer delight all our guests.

Amenity cards which gives access to pools or restaurants cannot be obtained with our rental. Golf Carts are available to rent close by. You will love the beauty & rich history of the Sea Islands, as well as the best Lowcountry cuisine in our local cafes & fine dining restaurants. We are happy to offer recommendations.

Walking in the unit looks great until you see the bathroom. Shower curtain needs replaced and there is mold which someone has tried to cover up with caulking. Overall the bathroom desperately needs updating. Would not rent again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry the bathroom did not meet your expectations. I take the cleanliness and care of my Sunsuite very seriously, and my housekeeper thoroughly sanitizes the bathroom after every stay. The area noted around the tub was older caulking, not mold, and I am currently getting estimates to update and remodel the bathroom. I do wish you had contacted me during your stay, as I would have been happy to address any concerns while you were there. I work hard to provide guests with a clean, comfortable and well-maintained Sunsuite, and I appreciate your feedback as I continue making improvements. Thank you. Debbie

Good location. Has a plumbing issue, host was on it. Wish we had the property cards to use pools, but we knew this property did not include them.

The price of this suite was very reasonable compared to others and fit perfectly within my college-student budget. My friend and I had a wonderful stay, especially with the beach just steps away! We also enjoyed trying some of the restaurants recommended by the host in the neighboring town of Beaufort. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again.

Take the picture of the pool that you can not use off her page. The parking was terrible due to all the golf carts and for people that have never been to Fripp make sure to tell them that you have to have anamenity card to get in the pool to get in the bars, restaurant! Other than that it was fine.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear that Fripp Island wasn’t everything you were expecting during your visit. July is one of the busiest and most festive times of the year on Fripp Island, so parking and golf cart traffic can be heavier than at other times. The pool photo is included because my Sunsuite is located in the Beach Club area overlooking the pool and nearby shops, giving guests a convenient location in the heart of the island. For future guests, I want to clarify that my Vrbo listing states that Amenity Cards are not included with this rental. These cards are required for access to the resort pools, restaurants, bars, and certain recreational amenities. Because Amenity Cards are not included, my Sunsuite is typically offered at a significantly lower nightly rate than comparable units that do include them. Thank you again for staying at my Sunsuite, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your comments.

We love to walk the beach at Fripp Island Resort. We live full time on Lady's Island, Beaufort, SC. Since Fripp Island is so close to us and has a wonderful clean beach, it was an easy choice for us to purchase a Sunsuite. Being a private island, we always feel very special when we drive through the gates. It is a quiet and restful place. There are so many places to view the most magnificent sunsets on Fripp Island. Be sure to check them out! We have had many writers stay at our Sunsuite in winter. It is especially a quiet time in winter. Bring or rent a bicycle. One of our favorite activities.
