The price includes all fees, amenity cards, and resort taxes. No additional charges!

Ocean front location — directly adjacent to the breakwater barrier. The peaceful sound of the ocean will melt your cares away as you relax in this tastefully decorated home.

This exceptional property has hardwood flooring throughout and two balconies for absorbing the beautiful ocean view.

The kitchen has everything you’ll need including a combination coffee maker and k-cup machine to help you start your day.

If you’re looking for some downtime, there’s expanded Cable TV as well as high-speed internet to keep you connected. Google Home is available (just say “hey Google”) to provide you with music in the living room and in the bedroom. And, you can pack light and use our washer and dryer.

1 queen master bedroom upstairs with a pullout sofa downstairs. Saltwater Zen is an absolutely fantastic location for a couple or a small family.

Fripp Island is an absolutely fantastic location. 25 beach access points and several freshwater pools. There are several restaurants right on the island and even more great options in Beaufort, SC -- a short 12-15 minute drive into town.

* Fido will have to stay behind — pets are not allowed — sorry for that.

* Note that the resort recently imposed a 12.8% tax on all rental homes, we have had to raise our fees slightly to account for that new tax. It will show up in your price quote as "Club Fee".

25th anniversary

4th time down to fripp and always stayed at the ocean cottages. Love the views and location of property. Great layout of cottage for a romantic getaway

Salt Water Zen for the win!

This was our second year in a row at this property, and again our stay was amazing! We love the location, the amenities, the cleanliness, and the private pool. Michael, Tonja, and the cleaning staff are fantastic. We’ve already booked our next ten day stay for the summer of 2025!

No hot tub on the property as shown in the picture we saw. At least a queen size bed would be nice. Overall it met our needs.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the balcony. Area was very quiet and relaxing. Was disappointed that we could not find car parking near the beach access on the island.

The place is beautiful and very well stocked with your basic supplies.

We loved the place!! It has a beautiful view of the ocean which we spent most of our time on the balcony watching the dolphins. I would only bring clothes and food because they have everything else you could need and not much room for a lot of storage so pack lightly and use the washer and dryer provided😁 we loved it so much we can't wait for our next visit.

Frippin’ Perfect!

As frequent guests at Fripp Island and new empty nesters, we found a place to return for years to come! We had an amazing anniversary getaway. This property didn’t disappoint! Stunning morning views with coffee, watching dolphins dance across the water from the balcony, and relaxing evenings stargazing from the hot tub on the upper balcony. Michael and Tonja ensured everything was perfect for us! We’ve already booked our next trip!

Fripp in November

This was my 4th visit to Fripp, but my first in the winter. The island and this property was amazing. Perfect size for my wife and I with all the comforts of home. The property was clean and very well furnished for a rental. The beaches were empty and there were very few visitors on the island. I had an issue with my Amenity Cards (due to Guest Services) and the owner was very helpful and communicative and helped resolve my issue quickly. He even refunded me the charge for my troubles. I would definately rent the property again!

Fripp first-timers

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Fripp! Property was clean and nicely furnished. Gorgeous view and we sat out on deck and balcony as often as able and frequently saw dolphins. Nice to have amenities such as icemaker, coffee pot and full sized oven and refrigerator. The bedroom was very comfortable - weather even permitted the sliding door to remain opened a couple of nights to hear the surf. Loved and used the spa tub on balcony several times. Master bathroom is large with double sink and huge shower with 2 shower heads! This is a perfect place for a couple or small family. Note: We stayed end of Feb. early March so none of the pools were open and most of the restaurants were closed as well. Stop looking and book this property! Our first visit to Fripp definitely won't be our last!

Nothing Zen About It

I rented this ocean front property for a month, in large part so that my husband and I could enjoy the sea air and sounds. However, there was no screen on the sliding glass door from the bedroom to the second floor porch, and the screen on the sliding glass door to the deck on the first floor kept popping open. The screen situation was particularly troublesome due to the no-see-ums. We couldn't be outside without dousing ourselves in Deep Woods Off to avoid being bit multiple times. When I contacted the owner about the lack of functioning screen doors, he claimed that he had a guest two months earlier who had broken both screen doors. The owner advised he had "forgotten" about the screen doors. He also replied that many units on the island don't have screen doors. I fail to see how that was relevant as I was not renting the other units and he admitted that there had been working screen doors when I rented his unit. He also asserted that the listing didn't mention them. Well, it also didn't mention a roof, floors, windows or walls, so if there had been a problem with one of those, would that be the grounds for not fixing it. A few weeks into our stay, some of the buttons on the Roku remote stopped working. We tried replacing the batteries, but that didn't work. When I contacted the owner about the remote problem, he advised me that I could leave if I wasn't happy and then offered to refund less than two-thirds of what I'd paid for the remaining six days. Although the listing claims that renters will have access to a work-out facility, we did not because the facility was closed for renovation. The owner didn't bother to advise us of this in advance. Even though the appliances and bathroom fixtures were reasonably clean, the baseboards, window sills and molding were covered with dust and tiny dead insects. We never used the jacuzzi tub on the second floor tub because it too needed to be cleaned. The mattress offered neither motion isolation nor pressure point relief. The couch was incredibly uncomfortable. The island has a pre-Civil War plantation vibe. Instead of enjoying the sea air and sounds as I had hoped, staying here was like being entombed in a mausoleum for a month. An extremely disappointing experience.

A great place to stay on Fripp Island! This cute two story condo was perfect for our stay. It has a full kitchen with everything you need to make breakfast or just have a quick meal. The view from the upstairs and downstairs decks were breathtaking. The area was quiet and less busy than the areas near the beach club. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we had all the information before we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Lovely space!

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Cottage! Absolutely loved the views -- waking up and looking out at the ocean everyday was such a treat. Also enjoyed the access to the semi-private pool (much less crowded than the resort pools). Michael and Tonja were super responsive when we ran into issue with A.C. The whole thing was resolved in under an hour! Also grateful for easy check-in and check-out.Fripp Island is a magical place!

Another Great Stay

This is the third year in a row that we stayed at Saltwater Zen. That should say everything. We love the location, the amenities, the view, the pool, and the home is stocked with almost anything one could need. We appreciate the top notch hosts, who are always easily reached if needed. Wonderful location for spotting dolphins

This is our first stay at this property. We have rented the property next door in the past. Great layout for two adults. We were able to watch the dolphins practically every day. Check in/out was seamless. Amenity cards were appreciated. We would consider renting this property again.

Blissful Retreat

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend our honeymoon. This oceanfront cottage was everything we dreamed of – cozy, beautifully maintained, and set in an absolutely stunning location. Waking up each morning to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee on the private balcony with a view of the ocean was pure bliss. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic escape by the sea, this is it. Beautiful escape

Perfect home in a perfect place. The ocean views were beautiful from the two porches. Saw dolphins, deer and even a raccoon went scurrying by. Beautiful Fripp island there to explore and close to Hunting island to see as well. The home had everything we needed and more.

Wonderful ocean views and sounds

Great views of ocean including dolphins surfacing frequently. Had minor issue but communication was easy and issue was resolved quickly. We walked 5K loop several times on sidewalks, low-traffic roads, and retaining wall next to ocean. Deer near roads seem tame. Good restaurants including Seaside Grill (Wednesday shrimp night) and Beedos (Vegan smashburgers) within 20 minute drive.

Great views and location

We love Fripp. This cute beach cottage is perfect for two people. Great views and location!! Amazing watching the dolphins swimming right from the deck. Communication with the host was really good and they addressed a minor issue quickly. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing Getaway

We chose this property for the location - water views are stunning at sunrise and sunset. We booked the hot tub balcony, and could se that unit next door, but ours didn't include a hot tub off the master/only bedroom upstairs. Wish we had the info about the cruises earlier - we missed the shelling cruise and there were no other options during our stay. But the community amenities were lovely, and the proximity to Savannah perfect.
