Saltwater Zen 2 -- Your Oceanfront Retreat on Fripp Island

The price includes all fees, amenity cards, and resort taxes. No additional charges!

Ocean front location — directly adjacent to the breakwater barrier. The peaceful sound of the ocean will melt your cares away as you relax in this tastefully decorated home.

This exceptional property has hardwood flooring throughout and two balconies for absorbing the beautiful ocean view.

The kitchen has everything you’ll need including a combination coffee maker and k-cup machine to help you start your day.

If you’re looking for some downtime, there’s expanded Cable TV as well as high-speed internet to keep you connected. Google Home is available (just say “hey Google”) to provide you with music in the living room and in the bedroom. And, you can pack light and use our washer and dryer.

1 queen master bedroom upstairs with a pullout sofa downstairs. Saltwater Zen is an absolutely fantastic location for a couple or a small family.

Fripp Island is an absolutely fantastic location. 25 beach access points and several freshwater pools. There are several restaurants right on the island and even more great options in Beaufort, SC -- a short 12-15 minute drive into town.

* Fido will have to stay behind — pets are not allowed — sorry for that.

* Note that the resort recently imposed a 12.8% tax on all rental homes, we have had to raise our fees slightly to account for that new tax. It will show up in your price quote as "Club Fee".

The property was beautiful and well stocked with all of the essentials. The hosts were very prompt to answer any questions we had. The amenities and views from the cottage are spectacular. Would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway!

Great location for a peaceful stay on Fripp. Had everything we needed. The view from either of the porches over looking the inlet can’t be beat.

Saltwater Zen was a refreshing, peaceful retreat once again! From the moment we entered the cottage, we were greeted by a clean, fresh atmosphere and thoughtful touches that felt warm and inviting. Every room was comfortably and beautifully appointed, making it easy to relax and feel at home.We especially enjoyed cooking and dining in while taking in the ocean views including watching playful dolphins. This was at least our fifth stay, and Tonja and Michael were as accommodating and welcoming as ever.We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Saltwater Zen.

We had a wonderful couple days. Loved watching the sunrises, dolphins and deer from both of the balconies. The unit was very clean. Hosts were quick to respond to messages. Easy checkin and checkout.

Awesome property! We loved being right on the inlet, relaxing on the covered deck with a good book and watching the wildlife and an occasional fishing boat going by. The cottage was super clean and comfortable! There’s a well stocked kitchen for cooking in, as well as guest cards for dining on the island (OP Grill is just across the road). We were pleasantly surprised at all the provided streaming TV services we could watch in the evening! Beach access at this end of the island was limited on this particular trip. My parents lived on Fripp for about 20 years, so we are very familiar with how the tides and storms move the sand around at Ocean Point. But there are lots of other beach access points, and Fripp’s beach is never crowded! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The balcony overlooking the water was our favorite spot. Fripp Island is a beautiful place and this rental is in a perfect quiet side of the island

positive-The view of the ocean from the back makes this place! The place was clean and check-in instructions very clear. The upstairs set up is very nice with double sink and shower.negative- The bed is painfully hard. The kitchen could use some TLC (especially appliances)We had to clean the outside of the sliders so we could enjoy the view to the ocean.

Another Great Stay

This is the third year in a row that we stayed at Saltwater Zen. That should say everything. We love the location, the amenities, the view, the pool, and the home is stocked with almost anything one could need. We appreciate the top notch hosts, who are always easily reached if needed. Fripp Island has 25 private access points to the beach -- one is a short walk and the others are a quick trip in a golf cart or in a car. With 25 private access points you never have to worry about overcrowding. The Ocean Island Grill is a 2 minute walk and there are 4 additional restaurants that are a short 5-10 minute drive. And, 15 minutes beyond Fripp Island is Beaufort, SC with even more shopping and dining options.
