Love this place!

What a great house & property right on the beach (and so close to a great surf break). Lori and her support team were great and Susana never failed to amaze with the food she prepared. Hope to come back soon!

A little piece of paradise

We loved our stay...so peaceful and relaxing. Accomodations were amazing and so beautiful. Octavio the chef cooked us incredible delicious dinners each evening. Pablo and rest of staff all very professional and helpful. Can’t say enough good things!! Thanks Lori for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. Sherree and family

Great house in the trees right on the beach

Our family (seniors/parents/20s and teenagers) spent a great Xmas break at Casa Selvatica. The main & secondary house were beautiful & unique, in amongst the trees. The bedrooms & bathrooms were perfectly fitted & clean. The living room, kitchen & dining room conducive to just hanging out. The decks & lanais were great into the evening. Walked right out onto the beach & we all loved the surfing & swimming. The chef offered provided great seafood dinners & groceries so we didn't need to leave the gated community. Service staff were friendly & did great. We'd recommend this place for a great beachfront break with extended family or friends.

Wonderful time!

A group of us stayed here in late July 2010 on a guys surf trip and had a fantastic time. Selvetica is amazing. It was absolutely beautiful - you can see the pride Lori takes in the place from the minute you walk in. Everything that's advertised,and more. Right on the water, with a breaks in front and Burros about 100 yards down the beach. We were well taken care of with everything we could have needed. We will definitely be back, next time with the wives, as it could have been incredibly romantic too if they were along! Oh, and it was great to learn that the place has a bit of surf history also, particularly for those old SoCal surfers. Thanks, Lori.

Thanks, David. David is referring to the fact that my ex-husband, Bill Cleary, and I stayed in this house almost 30 years ago - Bill wrote "Surf Guide to Southern California", a copy of which is in the house, and he named Anclote "Mexican Malibu" in an article in Surfer magazine in the 1960's! He loved Burros!

Best surf trip ever.

Everything about this property is perfect. Amazing service from the staff and property owner Lori. Being able to walk right out to two breaks in front of the house was ideal. Even on the smaller days the waves were a ton of fun. The selection of boards made it easy to enjoy the different sizes of waves throughout our trip. Everything you need is at this house.

Casa Crew Getaway

This property was a great place for a large group of friends. Plenty of space, accommodations were wonderful and the view and sound of the ocean were superb.

Peace on the pacific

This place was amazing !! We had such a great relaxing time. Enjoyed amazing meals thanks Octavia and Andria (your amazing). Some big waves while we were there fun to watch all the surfers and we swam with turtles so cool. Absolutely want to one back soon!!!!

Low key surf trip

This house is right on the beach, has lots of surfboards (mostly longboards) to choose from, and great access to a couple of breaks. The main break is about 100 yards down the beach, which is great during low tide. Lori is very friendly and accommodating. We had a very fun trip!

Great venue for a wedding or family surf trip

We had an absolute great time in this gorgeous property. The pictures don't do it justice. It is such a cool place for a large family gathering, or as we used it for a wedding celebration/surf vacation. Everything about it is comfortable and magical. Pablo, the property manager and Octavio the Chef were fantastic. We used Octavio's services for both lunch and dinner everyday for our group and it was five star quality! Everything was excellent!

Book this place NOW you won't regret it!!!

First off the pictures do not do this property justice! We were blown away by the magical design and architecture of Bahia de Banderas. The property is situated oceanfront yet it is tucked away in the jungle where it feels extremely private and secure. We stayed here with my husband, my 2 kids (ages 3 and 1) and another friend and there was more than enough space - we could have easily had another family and several more friends. Lori was extremely responsive to all of our inquiries, Pablo offered door-to-door service from the airport and a rental car directly which was a huge help, and Susannah not only cleaned the house every day but also watched our 1 year old while we explored the surrounding areas. We loved cooking meals every night in the well-appointed open kitchen and could not have asked for a better location to spend our vacation. My husband and buddy caught great waves directly out front too at Punta del Burro. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Haven

Words can't effectively describe how grateful we are that Lori rents her incredible home! Casa Selvatica and everyone who is associated with it - Pilas, Susanna, Pablo, Ivan, Roberto, Chef Octavio and his team - are truly the most outstanding HomeAway we have ever rented - and we have rented beautiful homes in the Icelandic countryside and the heart of Kyoto. The house is designed to be almost hidden in the landscape - rather than imposed upon it - and when we opened the shutters every morning downstairs - it was like we were part of the jungle and beach. Everything about Casa Selvatica - the plates, the linens, the flow of the house, the beach, the palapas - is just what you need. It is truly heaven. And having Pablo and his team to pick you up and take you back to the airport and for daily check ins and advice - was just what we needed. The grocery store in Bucerias was so well stocked that we were able to shelter in place and surf/paddle board/walk on the quiet and secluded beach - for our week. We so want to return sometime when the virus is under control so that we can explore more of Nayarit and Punta Mita - but we are so grateful to have been able to experience the amazing sanctuary Lori and her team have nurtured at Casa Selvatica.

Beyond amazing!!! Pure paradise!!!

Our family of nine LOVED the house and staff. It was so beautifully decorated and clean. Everyone had their own bedroom/bathroom and we would all enjoy our meals together on the beautiful patio overlooking the most stunning views of the ocean. My niece stayed in the treehouse aka: "Star Patio" and absolutely loved it. The home is literally surrounded by lush jungle that is perfectly maintained. Octavio cooked three dinners for us, all of which were fresh and delicious. Susanna kept the house clean daily and was very sweet. Pablo was always available with just a text or phone call. He helped us with anything we needed; such as directions to the market etc... I would definitely recommend renting a vehicle from him as it was very reasonably priced and allowed us to go to all of our excursions and restaurants. I highly recommend Margarita's on the Hill; it's only a few minutes from the house and the food was beyond delicious. In the mornings we would sit outside to drink our coffee and watch the sea turtles and whales. We also enjoyed watching all the people surfing or attempting to surf. LOL. Don't hesitate booking this gorgeous piece of paradise. Everything from booking the house with Lori, to airport transfers, renting a vehicle, scheduling Octavio to cook was easy. Just let Pablo know what you want or need and consider it done. Thank you so much Lori for sharing your beautiful home. Please thank Pablo for us as well, he was so helpful and nice.

Wonderful Property and Staff

This is a unique gem. Definitely, blends with local landscape. Although we did not surf, I can see why this would be a preferred surfers spot. Phenomenal Chef, and the friendliest cat on the planet.

This unique rain forest getaway is absolutely breathtaking. The character and charm are fabulous

Family Fun vacation in paradise. July was definitely hot and humid. The beach was necessary for cooling off. The outdoor dining was fun and the views were breathtaking. The beach was a little rocky but we really enjoyed the quick walk down to the resort and partaking in their beach swimming area. I like loved all the sounds of wildlife. The staff was absolutely remarkable!!!

We love Casa Selvatica

We had an amazing week at this lovely home. We were so thrilled to spend our very precious week away from jobs, children and life at such a magical place. We had a blast! Casa Selvatica is set up so well for everything we want to be doing while on vacation (eating well, sleeping well, feeling pampered, surfing, shell hunting, reading, relaxing on the beach...) we could not have asked for anything more! Lori was incredibly helpful with pre-trip arrangements and Susanna and Pablo and all of the staff and recommendations were beyond friendly and helpful. We will be back!

What an adventure. We stayed on this property for 10 days and enjoyed everything about it. Beautiful property and homes. Has everything you could ask for. Secluded and off the beaten path yet not far from shopping and restaurants.

Hurry! Book this one right away! It is AWESOME!

We had a great vacation at Casa Selvatica. The house is even better in person than the pictures show. There is so much character in each and every corner of the house, that you just have to see it to believe it. The different sitting areas on three different levels mean you can find shade anytime of day and still enjoy unbelievable ocean views. The beach was great, we surfed, boogie boarded, and "bobbed" ( just grabbed a life vest and floated around in the waves watching turtles) until we were completely waterlogged. We would recommend having Octavio cook for you as many nights as possible, the food is delicious and well worth the money. Jovana was amazing and kept things super tidy. Pablo is easy to contact and can solve any problem imaginable. We loved it there and hope to go back again soon.
