Beautiful cabin in a great location.

Stayed for nine days in October. The cabin is a beautiful structure on a large, well treed lot in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

I went alone with my dog for a three night stay and had an amazing experience. Quiet, secluded, and beautiful-exactly what I wanted to unplug for a few days. The cabin had all the amenities you could need and then some. Lakeside dock, covered front porch and fire pit all great places to relax. Inside cozy furniture (bonus on recliners ) and wood burning fireplace. Ample firewood was available. Five acres of privacy and trails were perfect. Bring your own sheets, blankets and pillows. Very clean and well maintained. Will definitely return!

4th of July Getaway

Great little cabin in the north woods. We were there for a few days around the 4th of July this year. Close to amenities and restaurants, great recreational lake. We’ll be back!

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at this cabin. The setting is quiet and private, which made it easy to unwind and enjoy the weekend. The cabin itself is spacious and has a warm, cozy feel—especially with the wood stove, which made a big difference during cooler evenings.We also appreciated having enough room for our dog to be comfortable. Overall, it’s a great place to disconnect and recharge. The only area for improvement would be general cleanliness and reducing some of the clutter, as it takes away a bit from the otherwise lovely space.That said, we truly enjoyed our stay and are grateful for the experience. Thank you for hosting us!

Cabin up north

The cabin was as described on-line and the proximity to the lake was spot on - about a 2 min walk. The cabin was very clean and easy to get to. Overall rating of this property would be a 9 out of 10.

Perfect location for a getaway to spend quality time with the family. The home was cozy and neat. The sleeping arrangements were good, everyone had their own bed. Amenities were perfect for our family gathering to fish. Host was easy to work with and very prompt. Would definitely book here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was adorable and located in a quiet setting with a very short walk to the water. We brought our pups with us and they had a blast swimming in the water. I would definitely recommend you give it a try.

Decided to book a snowmobile trip for the husband and I for an extended weekend. Loved that we could hop on the trails just from the end of the driveway, super easy! Cabin was exactly as described, which was great. Loved the wood burning stove to heat the place, didnt think we had brought enough wood but we stayed toasty all weekend. Went down the street to the local watering hole for a bit after a long day and the people were amazing, super friendly. Would definitely book this place again for summer and winter sports.

Disappointing cleanliness and value for the priceWe stayed at this property and found the overall experience did not match the price charged. The unit arrived in poor condition. There was visible dirt and grime throughout, and we observed what appeared to be mouse droppings. We wiped down surfaces upon arrival to make the space useable. Guests are expected to bring their own linens, and the checkout instructions required is to vacuum and clean the floors with Pine-Sol. Given the rate, we expected a properly prepared and cleaned unit with standard turnover service included.We left the property in the same condition we found it (and in some areas slightly better after our initial wipe downs.)I would not recommend this listing at the current price point due to the cleanliness issues and the additional expectations placed on guests.

Weekend getaway

My husband, baby and I stayed for 2 nights just to relax and it was perfect. Communication with the owner was very simple. Very quiet and peaceful lake to relax by!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this cozy and spacious cabin. The location is excellent (under 10 minutes to Minong), the walk to the lake is short, and the kitchen has everything you need. The fireplace and free firewood were fantastic for a chilly evening, and the washer/dryer was a great amenity. Heads up for families: all beds are in an open loft, so privacy is limited.Our only major issue was that the cabin was quite dirty when we arrived, particularly with dog hair, and the sheets were not fresh. We had to wash all the linens before settling in after a long drive. I'd personally prefer to pay a cleaning fee for a spotless arrival rather than DIY, but the cabin itself is great and we would return in the future. Consider bringing your own sheets/blankets.

Nice Quiet Cabin

Beautifully built cabin in quiet woods: my best friend and I wanted to take a reading vacation and it was a peaceful place. You could hear the occasional ATV go by, and the dishes and beds could have been cleaner. Other than that, this cabin was a great place to unplug: we enjoyed our stay!
