This two storey cottage in Bear Lake Reserve is close in proximity to the Golf Course, and just a short drive to the Lake Club. Sleeping six guests at optimum comfort, Bear Elegance boasts King-sized beds in all three bedrooms! The back porch is screened and surrounded by trees, making for a relaxing, wooded view. From bird-watching in the Springtime to sitting by a wood fire in the Fall, the location of Bear Elegance is sure to please all!

Bear Lake Reserve:
Found in the Tuckasegee Valley, in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains is Bear Lake Reserve, a master-planned 2,100 acre, gated resort bordering Bear Creek Lake. Bear Lake Reserve guests have access to all the private amenities offered by the resort including 9-hole Jack Nickaus Designed golf course with a 40-mile panoramic view of the Smokies, Matchpoint Tennis, and 17 miles of maintained hiking and walking trails where you can spot waterfalls and mountain wildlife. The luxuriously appointed Lake Club offers guests access to the lakeside pools, waterslide, and hot tubs, private beach, gym and sauna, multiple lounges, onsite restaurant and bar as well as a library and indoor theater. Guests of Bear Lake Reserve can also arrange equipment rentals, via the Lake Club, ranging from mountain bikes to pontoon boats. Effective May 1st, upon arrival at the Greeter's Cottage, all guests of Bear Lake Reserve will be responsible for paying a Resort Preservation Fee. This fee will be $30/day (with the maximum fee per stay being $150 or 5 days) and will be charged upon check in. Excellent mountain rental

Ideal mountain getaway, cleanliness, amenities, location, all superior- can't recommend highly enough...... and we had bears below our porch one night! Kids were in heaven!

Another great place to stay at bear lake

There’s not much to complain about when everyone gets a king size bed. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was very useful and cozy. The WiFi worked well. We’d love to stay again.

Great stay

Wonderful community in Bear Lake Reserve. Everything you need without having to leave the property. House was comfortable. Covered back porch with fireplace steals the show!

Great stay at Bear Elegance - short drive to Lake Club!

House was well appointed, beds were very comfortable, kids loved the fireplace on back porch, and it was a very short driving distance to the Lake Club/pool/marina.

Always a pleasurable stay

We frequent Bear Lake Reserve for the Christmas season and have stayed at Bear Elegance twice. The property never disappoints. It’s always a cozy stay for our family of four and we will surely be back.

Great stay

Very clean and roomy cabin. If you want beautiful scenery and a peaceful “get away”, this is your place. Wi-fi and cell service little spotty but still available for the most part. We will definitely be back

Great peaceful and very comfortable home!

We wanted to get away, relax and just have some quiet time and we got everything we were hoping for. Very comfortable home surrounded by great hikes, waterfalls and we loved having a fireplace to curl up and read by. Highly recommend!

Lovely quiet stay.

Very clean property. We arrived after a snow. Roads were a tad icy, so we mostly stayed at home.

Family Adventure

Bear Lake Reserve was everything we imagined it would be and more. We had family meals and kitchen was stocked with utensils. We enjoyed the fires on the outdoor living space. We also enjoyed our time hiking and relaxation at the club house.

Beautiful and peaceful

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed for 3 nights. Not a bad drive to Polar Express. Ate at the Lake house restaraunt on property. House had everything we needed. Porch was wonderful, took in a hike and did some fishing. Would book again

Wonderful Fall Getaway

I never wanted to leave that Fabulous back porch! Coffee in one hand, and my book in the other, life seemed just about as perfect as it gets!! Surrounded by trees of every color, and an almost constant gentle breeze, I could have stayed on that porch indefinitely!!

Beautiful home, location & more

It is lovely home. It has everything you need. The house was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. During regular season the club amenities would be an added plus, we unfortunately stayed off season & still restrictions with COVID.
