The property is just a few minutes from downtown Boone, but felt like you were far away. We enjoyed Boone, but the cabin was so peaceful we could have stayed at the cabin the entire time. The view and the sounds of the river are fantastic. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to the area.

Cabin is exactly what you see in the pictures! Perfect for a nature getaway with a senior pup! The cabin itself is clean, spacious, and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Not quite as clean as we’d hoped. It is mountain living but we saw a mouse in the living room.

The property was very pet friendly. The creek was beautiful. We really liked the cabin. The only issues that we had were inability to access wifi, disturbance of the traffic on the other side of the creek and low water pressure in the bath tub. Despite those issues we had a wonderful and relaxing time.

Our vacation was excellent. It was the perfect amount of space for a couple. Due to recent rain, the river sounds overrode the traffic sounds on HWY 105, which is right across the river. the downsides were the fire pit and the two paths down to the river need major attention. Everything is overgrown and made it very messy to get down to the river, including the steps on the path that need to be replaced or cleaned up. You can tell the fire pit hasn't been cleaned up in ages. It's obvious no one tends to the outside. The water pressure is terrible, so you can't really use the tub. By the time it fills, the water gets cold - literally. Bring extra towels as they provide and the washer is extremely moldy and stinky. All that said, it's a beautiful spot on the river and we enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was perfect for my husband and me for a 5 night getaway. It’s very comfortable and now one of our favorite rental properties. We plan to book this unit again when it’s warmer so we can use the rocking chairs on the screen porch.

WE loved our stay at Paradise found. The place was as described and we really enjoyed the screened in patio over the beautiful creek. You can see the busy road on the other bank but we were made aware of this ahead of time and it didn't affect our stay at all. The host was responsive and helpful. Would stay again and highly recommend. the location was fantastic being close enough to town for meal delivery services yet still felt very private and secluded.

Perfect weekend getaway

Great weekend to getaway from Raleigh heat and bustle. Cabin feels remote but only minutes from plenty of eateries and activities. View and access to river was awesome. Enjoyed lazy hangs with dogs on screen porch overlooking river. Clean, modern, easy check-in and out. Nice big bathroom and comfy leather sofas. Highly recommend for cozy stay.

Everything about the house was very good and as expected. I did have two issues that frustrated me. The propane tank for the grill was essentially empty. We had planned to grill so this was frustrating. Also, The Management company sent me 14 emails within 24 hours of making the reservation. I thought that was excessive and annoying. They also required an additional contract beyond what VRBO requires. The house itself, and everything else was exactly as advertised.

Thanksgiving retreat

We loved the design of the cabin and how peaceful it was. There was a little road noise across the stream but we didn’t mind since we were also close to town. Loved the experience and we plan to return.

Great location

Awesome spot by the River. Cabin was very clean and perfect for a couple or two couples to spend a weekend at. Hot tub on a screened in porch is a nice addition.

Beautiful hassle free hideaway

Perfect size cabin for a couple or small family. Set right on the Watuga River, full kitchen, the Keurig and Washer/dryer is a bonus. Hot tub filled hot water and ready to go on arrival. Will stay here again!
