Air conditioning , full kitchen, direct tv . Close to many eateries and bars and attractions . Cottage is right on lake , and pontoon rental is available. The fishing is great on the lake with many pan fish ,walleyes, and northern being caught . Bald eagles live all over the lake and are quite noticeable in trees and in flight . There is a walking trail very close by and you can walk a short distance to the Wind mill ice cream shop.This rental only available april thru nov.
You can rent boat for $100/day, ask the owner.

cabin stay

Needs upgrading only a 3 minute shower. Needs frypan that fits stove. blinds did not cover window and blades kept falling off. Drip pans need replacing. Need coat hangers on wall by door. Lighting was very dim. No where to put your stuff. Old TV . Positive points location on lake and trail right across road. can walk to windmill ice cream and Holly's.

Holiday weekend

It is a cute little place...But... Cob webs need to be removed, needs to be swept and mopped. And dusted... The shower was full of bugs and wasn't cleaned. It just needs a thoroughly cleaning...

WEEKEND STAY

Great for a couple with a small dog. The cabin had some new improvements like new sinks and facetts.

Need to update the cottage

Checking in was ok. Didn’t realize that the owner lived right next door. He didn’t bother us but it was just weird. Cottages were too close together for us. We had to use the owners fire pit. Wasn’t a very big one especially when the wood he had for it were huge. Had to take a quick shower not even enough hot water to wash my hair. Bed was terrible. Double bed it felt like a hard air mattress on a twin bed frame. Didn’t get much sleep the whole weekend

Long weekend getaway

Great little cabin right on Lake Nokomis

Small cozy cabin, everything was nice and clean. Was a great place to stay for the weekend and enjoy some fishing on Lake Nokomis!

4th of July

We got lucky with this little Jem. Perfect for us and our little dog. Andre, Patti and all the locals were so kind and helpful. Bathroom is alittle tight and bed is very firm. AC worked great! Thank you for great weekend! Would absolutely stay again!

out of date ammenities.

Small bathroom. skinny shower, tiny sink, toilet tucked in a space only 24" wide where you sit. TheQueen size day bed sleeps two, one side leans down on the batroom side felt like I was gonna roll out. You get what you pay for, hotel room in town would have been 30 or 40 more a night w/two queen beds & complimentory breakfast.

Owner was rude never met him only communication

Never met owner although his his was right beside cabin had no hot water the whole time we were there my husband went to ask him about it the said there was a.button in the bathroom but its was already on. When we took showers it was like someone pouring ice water on your. Not even luke warm water... When we left the owner was outside my husband told him we never had any hot water. He said "SORRY ABOUT THAT"

Cabin was clean. Is located in a great area settled in a nice bay and close to many bars and restaurants!! We will for sure be back!!

Threatening owners

They claimed we broke the ac knob....we turned it on and left it on. They tried to charge us $200 for a plastic knob and I canceled our credit card. They came back with a threatening message that they will get their $200 don't worry and that they know where I live...I don't believe u shuld have a property like this listed in VRBO.

Long term

Andre told us we were the first people to stay for 3 weeks. Andre was helpful in getting us settled. The cabin was as advertised. Wi-Fi was sketchy. Bathroom was tight. Shower was adequate but toilet space was tight for me. I am 6'2" 245 lbs. Kitchen would benefit from some better cooking pans. Overall a good experience but I feel it would be a great short term (1 week or less) rental choice.

Fishing trip

Spent a couple of days with my son fishing. Great location. Excellent host. Caught some Northern and even a Musky. Will definitely be back.

Great time!

Great place for me, my wife and my service dog. We spent most our time fishing. The boat launch is only about a mile away and we docked at the rental. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. We hope to visit again.

Beautiful views

Our trip by Andre was alright. The pontoon rental was nice, and it was very convenient to have Andre around to ask questions. The view is stunning and looks down on the lake from the top of a small hill. The unit is as described in the ad. The place was very dirty, however. He left a dirty laundry basket with dirty socks in the unit. There was a raw, cracked egg in a baggy in the fridge that was very moldy. There is an oddly placed picture covering a hole in the bathroom that could be fixed for less than $10 worth of scrap drywall and mud from Menards. My review would be five stars all around, but the cleanliness really affected the quality of our stay, especially with such preventable messes. Hopefully this improves and there can be less reviews of similar quality.
