Cabin tucked away on 60 acres of rolling Kentucky Hills, plenty of woods and dale and our own stream for fishing or bathing; complete with cave for the adventurous type(s).

Beautiful cabin, clean and well stocked, be prepared for a rooster at night and in the morning, but nothing that was a major problem.

Next time

David is an amazing host, super friendly and quick with responses. The property was super clean and there is a bunch of things to do and explore. Unfortunately we didn't have the time. Next time!

Very nice, secluded location. Everything went very well. Loved the covered deck and enclosed porch. Would stay there again.

The farm away from home

We stayed during the summer with our son and enjoyed every minute of our trip. From the fresh farm eggs to the quiet countryside everything was fantastic. The host are excellent down to earth people that make you feel welcomed.

So relaxing!

This was such a needed getaway. We came for our 21st wedding anniversary and we had an amazing time. The cabin is fully stocked with anything you will need. It was clean and very welcoming. The porch was perfect for drinking coffee and listening to the chickens do their thing (one of my favorite parts). The owners were very welcoming and nice. They are right across the way and there if you need them and leave you alone if you don't. The creek was great also. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the sounds of the farm or if you have kids. Bowling Green is close enough that if you want to shop or go out to eat, it's not a long drive. We went to the Lost River Cave and that was so much fun. No complaints at all. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

A great retreat

Our family had a wonderful few days here. We enjoyed the surrounding beauty, had fun playing in the creek and relaxing in general. The hosts were great and we appreciated the farm tour, and getting to pick eggs.

Convenient Cabin in the Woods

My group participated in Hot Rod Power Tour 2024 and used this cabin as our home away from home. It was absolutely perfect. Quiet, convenient, beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. We had no worries, even traveling in two classic cars. If you’re planning to be in the Bowling Green area, this is the place you want to stay.

Perfect home away from home!

Will for sure be coming back! This place felt very homey. We enjoyed all of the animals and how friendly they were, especially the dog and cat. Everything was fantastic.

Fun on the farm

We took our grandson to Mammoth caves for his 18th birthday, and we’re lucky enough to find this charming little place on the farm to stay. We absolutely love this place! It had places for my grandson to get out and explore while my husband and I enjoyed feeding and petting the animals on the farm. The little cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and our hosts were absolutely wonderful. It was nice to just disconnect from everything for a couple of days, we definitely give this place a 10 out of 10. It’s a great place if you have small children, or even teenagers who love animals, they have a donkey, turkeys, goats, cows and chickens just make sure to take apples because donkey loves apples! Oh, and we can’t forget Della the dog. She is so sweet. ❤️

Beautiful getaway!

The property was absolutely beautiful. My kids loved the animals. The loft area was perfect for my kids, they claimed it as their own the minute we walked in. We visited the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to enjoy everything the property had to offer. We would love to book again just to explore. The owners were so nice.

The family was amicable and engaging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately, we cut it short due to a situation out of the owner's control. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking to close out the world and enjoy some family time.

I liked how it was on a farm. David was a very respectful man. I think it’s over priced and under cleaned. It smelled like old house. There were cob webs every where. A glass of milk was in a cup spoiled at the top bunk area. It was still a beautiful property. If you are looking for privacy, do not stay here. The owners are right across the way. Although they gave us space, I felt like they were the type to look through the house when we were gone. The lock on the door didn’t work. I will not stay here again.

It was not what was expected

The cabin was alot smaller then expected. Ad says there are more beds then what is really there. Didnt expect the owners to be with in 100ft from rental. The 3rd bedroom is a crawl space. No TV. Nice beautiful screen in porch.

Kentucky beauty

We really enjoyed our stay at David and Yamile’s cabin. We were able to see the animals, hike down to the river and cave, cook, and enjoy a bonfire at night. The wrap around covered porch and outdoor deck offer extra space to enjoy the view. Highly recommended!

Lovely farm, great potential with some attention

I loved the farm, loved the eggs. Would recommend more detailed instructions on finding the place. GPS took us to a neighbors home. (embarrassing!) The bunk beds need to be tightened or replaced as they are very wobbly and squeaky. The air-conditioning units don't appear to work and the fan in one room doesn't work either so we had to sleep with windows open. There was also no hand soap in the bathroom, I was able to find a bottle after digging through cabinets.

Ideal getaway

We had an excellent experience at the cabin. It was clean, cute, and quiet. There is a lot of exploring to do right on the property. I recommend trying the fresh eggs! The kitchen was well equipped, and the two decks are a definite plus to the location. It will probably be very enjoyable in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The hosts live in a house right in front, but we had total privacy. It feels like a remote area while being easily accessible. We loved it and will go back there without hesitation if we come back to the area.

We're just West of Scottsville, Ky., East of Bowling green, Ky. (home to Western Kentucky University), and North of Nashville. My wife and I are Spanish Interpreters, great location if you speak Spanish (si se habla Espanol) or if you want a weekend of immersion training! The cabin is close to the Corvette Museum, :40 minutes from Mammoth Cave and Cave City, :45 minutes from Nashville. In addition, Western Kentucky Univ boasts a beautiful campus with plenty of events to choose from, USA Football Conference Champs and a fantastic Lady Topper Basketball Team! Come and stay with us for family day(s) or key family events on campus or in the community; holidays, extended weekends, special events, or just to get away. You may not want to leave.
