This is no ordinary rental property, this is our home. We live here. The house is furnished with upscale furnishings and details that even the most discriminating guest will appreciate. The house blends a perfect balance of historic and contemporary, luxurious and simple. Upscale bedding and bath linens, great beds, a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful outdoor spaces all add to the feeling of staying in a friend's cozy and comfortable home. Yet, one of a kind works of art and artisan made furnishings create a space like that of a contemporary art gallery. Inspiring and relaxing, this house is a perfect place for the most discriminating traveler.

Built in 1928, our 2400 sq. ft. home offers 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, large open living & dining spaces, a well equipped kitchen, office space, laundry equipment, exercise equipment, screened porch, patio and beautifully landscaped back yard.

The house includes original and unique interior architectural design features like a beamed walnut ceiling in the living room, marble mosaic entrance floor, hand forged iron railings, original windows, custom wood moldings & trim, and hardwood floors thoughout. Yet this house has a striking modern feel due to our contemporary furnishings and art, and updated and modern kitchen and baths. Living space expands outside in warmer days with a screened porch that is perfect for napping, a flagstone patio for sunset dinners, a beautifully landscaped back yard and garden that features a porch swing that invites intimate conversations with a cool drink. And if you need some company, the goldfish in the pond will be happy to oblige.

Adding to the creature comforts of the house are some cool technologies that include: Apple TV with YouTubeTV, Prime Video, and Netflix; Sonos wireless sound system throughout the house and garden powered by Pandora and Tidal which allows you to virtually listen to any music you want, anywhere on the property (It is Music City, after all!)
And wireless Nest thermostats for the air conditioning and heat, means that I can ensure the house is comfortable before you arrive.

**** Please note that there is no space available for a group to watch a large TV together. The only bedroom with a TV is the Master Bedroom. Wifi is available throughout the home, so streaming video on your own devices is an option in all spaces.

**** Also note that some consider our home not being kid-friendly. We want to welcome all to our house, and if you are bringing young children, please give us a heads up so we can plan in advance by moving any fragile items from the reach of young hands.
