Elopement perfection!

Me and my fiancé booked this stunning farmhouse for our last minute elopement after cancelling our wedding due to COVID. Our weekend was absolutely perfect!! The house is 10x more stunning in person, unique & fully stocked with all the essentials! It exceeded my expectations and we got some amazing wedding photos in the driveway lane, around the barn & in the backyard. The host gave us a call on check in & left us a nice bottle of gin for our weekend! Hot tub ran perfect & the place was very clean. Comfy beds, lots of privacy with a variety of bedrooms and bathrooms if you have a few people! & the natural lighting through the beautiful Farmhouse windows is quite amazing. I hope we can come back for an anniversary weekend every year!

Perfect getaway

This was exactly what we were looking for: a beautiful farmhouse on 70 acres. The fireplace and hot tub were the perfect cure for the cold wintery days. The perfect place for a needed escape!

Very Positive

This is a lovely property, we (wife, dog, myself) enjoyed walking in the fields around the farmhouse as well as exploring the area including the local provincial parks and the Rosemont and Hockley General Stores. Farmhouse has more than ample space with multiple bedrooms and is very cozy. Malcolm provided a personal tutorial on the property over the phone once we had settled-in the first afternoon and was very accommodating through the remainder of our stay.

Peaceful retreat

We fell in love with this beautiful old farmhouse. The property is quiet, has gorgeous views out of every window; The barn was fun to explore and the hot tub, of course, was a big hit. We can't wait to go back. Thank you so much.

Country retreat with oodles of charm, comfort and elegance

Foxglove Farm is a casually elegant rural retreat within a restored and renovated log home. The main floor has ample open and relaxed space with great views; the bedrooms are simple but also charming and clean, with truly comfortable beds and fresh linen along with wonderful views of the farmland. There are ample amenities, with multiple outdoor dining options, a terrific kitchen, gorgeous farmland and vistas, and plenty of options for recreation. This is a place that allows you to restore, explore and enjoy! We hope to return.

This rustic chic farmhouse was a wonderful family spot for a short getaway from the city. The cozy fireplace and living room was perfect for family games and watching movies. We can’t wait to visit foxglove farm again!

Magical getaway

We enjoyed a few beautiful days at this stunning property, which was our second stay. It is absolutely charming, quiet, and cozy. The kitchen is fabulous and we were able to cook up a storm. Great location, wonderful owner

This is a fantastic spot to come and work (remotely, which I did), walk the farm, enjoy the property and be close to amenities if needed. Malcolm and Vicki were on top of everything and such wonderful hosts while I stayed with my family for most of the week. We had a slight problem with the hot tub not keeping temperature and Malcolm was on it - driving up to fix the issue personally. The communication was tremendous. I wish you both all the success, it was great to meet you and look forward to sneaking in another weekend when we can!

Quaint Country Farm House

The farm house, barn, and beautiful acreage were exactly what we wanted during this period of limited travel. The kitchen is well appointed with clean and new appliances. I loved the gas oven to make some great family comfort meals. The multiple additions to the farm house add to the charm. While we spent most of our family time in the oldest part of the home with the wood burning fireplace well utilized, our children very much enjoyed the hot tub and adjacent room. We would highly recommend this property for people looking to get away for a lovely break.

Welcoming retreat in the countryside

Foxglove Farm is a welcoming retreat an hours drive from the city. The farmhouse is nestled in a quiet and pretty area of the countryside. The kitchen is large and well outfitted. The living room has a wonderful wood burning fireplace with lots of comfortable sitting areas to play board games , watch tv, or enjoy a good book. The owner Malcolm is responsive, as is his housekeeper Vicki who showed us around the farm and was available if we had any questions.

Charming Fall Getaway

Cozy rustic home with spacious living room and large stone fireplace ready to be lit while the gorgeous fall leaves glow and fall to ground. Modern well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and wide planked flooring add quality and charm. Nearby vineyard and trails allow for some pleasant activities when exploring the area.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed for a few days and had the most glorious mini vacation. The property is beautiful and the house is cozy. Was wonderful to kick back and also cook up a storm in the incredible kitchen. Loved it so much we are booked to return in a few months. Thank you, Malcolm!

Perfect

Everything was perfect. Malcolm has thought of everything a person could possibly need and then some. I have reverse aged one year after just two days here, and can't wait to return. The kitchen is unbelievably well equipped. The fireplaces (one gas, one wood) are beautiful and such a highlight. The hot tub is was so private and calming, and it was nice to be able to dry towels and suits between soaks in the dryer. Shampoo, conditioner, scented epsom salts, candles, coffee, (there is a snow-cone machine)... everything is perfect. The bed was so very comfortable, the home so quiet and serene. No neighbours peering in. Not sign of anyone nearby. Just gorgeousness all around and little bunnies and squirrels hopping by here and there.

Location is great, close to the city but in a quiet neighborhood. The property is same as the photo shown. We love the fireplace and the hot tub. Also the full kitchen. We would definitely go back!

Wonderful weekend at the farm!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the farm in early September. The property is beautiful and perfect for children to run around and explore! The accommodations were extremely clean, stylish, and comfortable. Malcolm is an excellent host and very responsive. We would happily stay here again!

cozy, comfortable and clean home in a beautiful relaxing setting

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed a week in this comfortable farmhouse. We enjoyed a day trip into Toronto and a few more trips to surrounding towns as well as Wasaga Beach. It was nice to have this house to come back to. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Malcolm provided everything that we needed and also offered some helpful dining and shopping recommendations. If you are looking for a relaxing rural getaway in this area, I'd highly recommend this house.
