This spacious 2 story, 3 bedroom lodge sits on 6 mile Bayou. There is a public boat ramp across the highway. It is easy to access off the highway. There are several stores and gas stations within a 12 mile radius. Short boat ride to Toldeo Bend. It is located in a very quiet area. The sunsets from the second story balcony are just stunning. You can catch some fish from the bank or under the bridge.

easy access to lake and hwy

Out stay was too short and rain kept us from being outdoors as much as we would have liked. Otherwise enjoyed our stay. Loved the balcony and view of the lake. Upstairs A/C unit not working real great so a little uncomfortable when I cooked. Very nice dock!

Great location very nice house

The location is great for fishing six mile area. Nice floating dock beautiful scenery. The house is nice everything was clean and the AC worked great even with the temp in the high 90s

Great place to stay if your fishing the 6 mile area.

This was a clean and great place to stay for a family trip to Toledo bend. Its very close to the public ramp and there’s a great view from the deck.

We had a wonderful time staying here. Due to some unexpected events we had to modify our dates at the last minute and the owner was very understanding and accommodating.

Toledo Bend Lake Weekend

Excellent location for our fishing tournament on Toledo Bend. The house was comfortable and had plenty of parking for our vehicles. We enjoyed the pier and porch areas in the evenings and mornings. Highly recommend this property.

Great Location

Love the location. Property has quick access to 6 Mile Public Launch. Has everything needed for cooking and laundry. Really comfortable beds.

The lake house with a view

The house clean and very accommodating dock was perfect only had to launch and pick up once how convenient would be nice if I didn’t have to back onto hwy but we made it love the place mistakes checking in all my fault

Wonderful property

Loved the property. The house was great. It had plenty of room and all the amenities you need. The location was perfect. It was so nice being able to fish off the dock. The view of sunsets was so nice. So glad we stayed here.

Toledo Bend getaway

The house/property was conveniently located near the boat launch. Easy access to Six Mile. The house was clean and well stocked with linens, toiletries and kitchen needs. Beds were comfortable. The dock was well lit and safe to navigate. 5 Star review

Friend’s trip

This was my first time staying in a VEBO on Toledo Bend. The house was just as advertised and great location. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We will be back.

Great weekend

Very relaxing. First night catfished of the bank, filled up an ice chest. Next day went out in the boat and filled another ice chest full of catfish.Great place to stay and great area>

Peaceful Stay

We were in the area for a funeral. I may have to look at this home again for a pleasure getaway. We did have an issue with the internet. That was resolved but we never did figure out how to use the Dish Network television. We used our streaming services instead. The home was great. Sunset view is spectacular and the dock was perfect for relaxing.

spending quality time with our family. We enjoy the country atmosphere of Hemphill. We have been very pleased with our recent rental property addition.

We began looking for property in the Toledo Bend area in October 2014. The first time we saw this property in Six Mile Bayou, we feel in love with it. We purchased it shortly after we came to see it for the first time. We have not been sorry at all. The only feature it didn't have that we wanted was a boat dock. We will be putting one together in the near future.

Old time country atmosphere. Everybody is very friendly. The location is right across the street from the public boat launch. It is close to the marina and to the town.
