Spectacular Colorado Mtn Home-Enjoy Mtn Views & Serenity

Our custom built mountain home is nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Located on one of the surrounding mountainsides of Bailey, Colorado. Just forty-five minutes south west of Denver on Highway 285. This community has maintained it's small town charm, but yet still offers a short drive to the big city and all the Colorado Mountains have to offer. Our home offers an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and natural wood accents throughout. Huge windows allow panoramic views of pine and aspen tree filled surroundings. Occasionally you get a treat of seeing the deer grazing or napping in the yard.

The living area has a gas burning stove and log stair case leading to the loft that is a family room with two comfortable love seat recliners, 50 inch color TV, Satellite, DVD, stereo and video library, and a cozy small deck that over looks majestic mountains. This is a great place to view summer sunsets. The kitchen is open to the living area and has custom made cabinets, bar style counter, gas stove, dishwasher and side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker. French doors open to the large deck with a hot tub, patio table and a gas BBQ. Perfect for a breakfast alfresco, afternoon BBQ?s or a star gazing night in the hot tub. French doors also open to a spacious master bed and bath with king size bed. Enjoy soaking in the huge jetted tub.

The main level is architectural designed for a couple to spend a romantic getaway in the natural beauty of the mountains. Perfect for honeymooners or weekend getaways. Are home also can accommodate a family of eight. The garden level basement has 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds. One bedroom has French doors that open to a patio.. There?s also a bathroom, laundry room with a washer and dryer and a one-car garage. We also have a full size Roll-Away bed in the loft.

Wonderful way to end the year

We stayed at this lovely home as a way to celebrate Christmas and the end of 2024. The place was wonderfully appointed, comfortable, and just what we hoped it would be. We loved the location and when we weren’t driving into Bailey or conifer for coffee, or walking down the roads and listening to the wind in the trees, we found the upstairs loft the perfect place to relax. The couches were comfortable, the WiFi was solid, the kitchen was perfect and the beds were great. We’ve already talked about returning next year! The perfect retreat on such a short drive from Denver

Beautiful rental

We LOVED this rental, from the location to the amenities. Really a fabulous place. We had to leave suddenly one day early due to Hurricane Milton coming in for our Florida home. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Colorado Mountain Cabin

Beautiful well appreciated cabin with welcoming decor and plants to make for a comfortable stay. We visited in late September at the peak of golden aspen season. We attended a Wedding, visited Golden Colorado, toured the Coors Brewery, Hiked Red Trail, went to a Rookies baseball game, visited Denver Botanical Gardens,Wings over the Rockies and the Denver Art Museum. Around the cabin we saw Elk, Deer and numerous colorful birds. I would recommend the City Pass if you plan to see the Gardens and Museums. Our first trip to the Rockies was a memorable retreat!

Perfect house for the price

Very comfortable and cozy, well beyond the expectations. Exceeds what would be expected at that price point, and, if I ever needed to go back to Bailey, CO, I would stay there again without hesitation.

Unfortunately, I had a last minute family emergency and could not attend; I did however experience the beauty vicariously through my daughter☺️ She and her friend had a fabulous time. The property is exquisite, the wildlife spectacular, the hot tub - their favorite spot. All around perfect mini vacation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful mountain home!

I booked this house for my wife and I, because we drove from Saint Louis for a show at Red Rocks. This place was absolutely beautiful! The pictures don’t do it justice; the views, the wildlife, the interior and exterior are stunning! Wish we could have done a whole week, but alas, we have 4 children we needed to get back home to, I would recommend this home to anyone a million times over! Steve even texted me to make sure we got in ok and that everything was up to our standards. Thanks again for everything!

Wonderful home away from home

Loved the decor. Nice cabin feel with all the comforts of home. Enjoyed watching the doe that visited us on several days. Good play areas for kids, both outside and inside. We mostly used the home for dinner and evenings, and did hiking and fishing nearby on a family-owned ranch during the day.

Red Rock concert

The pictures were a bit misleading. It was disappointing to discover that one of the "bedrooms" was actually in a living area with zero privacy. Friends in the bedroom next to te living area had to walk through our area to gain access tonthe washroom. Anyone awake and walking around upstairs was easily heard as there were no walls and the staircase to upstairs eas part of the sleeping area. Also odd was the fact that the eating area was upstairs from the kitchen and cooking area. Overall, the property was well kept and we enjoyed our stay. Our group has been fruends for iver 49 years abd allowed us tonivercome any awkwardness of the lack of privacy. It should probably be spelled out better for future guests.

Very nice place. Well maintained and very clean. No central air conditioning however the lower level stayed very cool.

Short visit

Location was lovely - just a bit of a dirt road drive up the mountain side. Only there at night to sleep due to family event at a nearby location. Only thing to adjust was the amount of lighting in the rooms - fixtures were dim & some bulbs needed replacing . Owner left detailed instructions & overall a wonderful place to stay

Beautiful House

The pictures shown online are accurate. Probably the nicest furnished house in the area. We attended a wedding at Deer Creek Valley Ranch and this property was only a little over a mile away

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

This home was nestled in a beautiful spot very close to the venue of the wedding we were attending. Along with the baby fawn and other wildlife, the house was clean and comfortable. The porch was our favorite and we would definitely like to come back again and stay a bit longer. Wonderful spot if you are going to a wedding in Bailey!

Great time

What a wonderful place, would recommend this place to everyone. Was decorated with similar items as we have at home. The deer in the mornings was nice also. Very well kept, clean, and a top notch area for location. The views were awesome from every window and deck. The hot tub was a great add. Lisa and I had a great time.. Thanks again Steve

If I Could Give It More Stars I Would

This house was as close to perfect as it gets. Immaculately well kept, well appointed beautiful setting comfortable beds - this had it all. Our host Steve was extremely helpful also with suggestions on local grocery shopping and one of the best hikes ever at the Guanella Pass. 10 outta 10. Thanks Steve!!!

Beautiful Mountain Home

Much better than expected! We were in town for a 3 day wedding. Location was perfect, only a couple easy miles to the Deer Mountain Camp.

Beautiful!

My husband and I had a great time at this cabin. The hot tub was amazing and it's very conveniently located. Our power went out one evening due to a snowstorm and Steve was quick to respond and work with us to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We would definitely return!

Weekend in Bailey

The property is lovely and comfortable. The short hike up Mount Bailey, which is located within the development, is spectacular for sunrise.

So cozy and satisfying

My daughter and I needed a relaxing getaway and this place delivered. The home was very clean and well decorated. I loved all of the art, so many eclectic pieces. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub while it snowed, which was super relaxing and satisfying. A couple of things I wanted to point out but don't hinder my opinion. The window down closest to the hot tub was open when we came in and when we tried to close it later that night it wouldn't close, because the knob was stripped. Finally, my daughter and I figured out a way to close it. There were no towels in the basement bathroom. And the down stairs bedroom had lamps and one I plugged in didnt work, the other I couldnt find an outlet to plug it in. I was bummed because that was the room I wanted to sleep in. There are 3 levels, so plan to use the stairs a lot and remember it is a higher elevation too. You get winded pretty easily. Other than those points it was perfect. We even saw deer resting on the property, which is so beautiful. I loved it and I would love to come back in the summer and experience it in a different climate.

Weekend get away

My adult kids really loved the house and setting. The only issue was there was no guide book to explain how to turn on the fireplace and check out procedures. It would have been helpful and less time contacting the host.
