this is a 1 bedroom house, .Hardwood floor, washer and dryer, 3 people can stay comfortably. We are in the country only a 1/2 mile from 60 highway but in the woods. Its only 20 minutes to beautiful Current river or 10 minutes to Black River(Markham Springs). Wappappello and Clearwater Lakes are within 1/2 hour . Linens are. provided . All you need is a toothbrush. WE also have a fire pit and BBQ grill on a small patio. Please check that you will be bringing animals if that applies there is a cleaning fee for animals.

Our stay here was perfect! The country setting was beautiful and peaceful. They were very accommodating and the house had everything we could have needed and then some. They were very quick to respond any time I messaged them as well. 100% recommend and will definitely be back!

Country getaway

Plenty of space inside and seating chairs and tables outside front and back firepit and grill are great peaceful and secluded but not far from stuff on highway super comfortable bed mattress

Perfect for us.

Private, and quiet at night. Turned out this place is very close to my family. Within walking distance of Leerjack truck stop. Four miles from dollar store and local dinner. My Mom has mobility issues but we were able to work out the front step. And the shower is walk-in, so thats great.Thanks for a nice stay.Susan

Perfect setting

The house was very clean and even better than the pictures. It was the perfect size for my sister and I. The cows out the side were relaxing to watch. Robbie, the host, was quick to reply and attentive while we were there. Highly recommend staying here. We hope to again.

Work trip to Nashville

Little piece of paradise . Clean , cute & peaceful. Garden spot ,fruit trees ,cows in pasture and hearing the donkey heehaw was funny . I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again . Robbie the host was nice and quick to respond.

Tranquil Travels

This is perfect! I couldn't have been happier, close to anything I needed but felt remote and private. Anything you could need is furnished and getting to see cows graze was a big plus! I will be back when I'm in the area. Thank you!

30 minute drive to Clearwater Lake

We stayed here to vacation with friends that live nearby. This cottage was adorable. It had everything we could possibly need. The owner shared some of her garden veggies with us too. Delicious! Very close to LeerJack and Simmons grocery. We spent most of our days on the lake which was about 30 minutes from our cottage. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Peaceful country setting

This little house is in a peaceful country setting. (It is located behind a trucking/lumber company, but we never heard any noise from them) we relaxed and watched the squirrels, bunnies and cows while listening to the birds chirping. It was clean and well stocked with anything we needed. Will definitely stay here again when in the area! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect for seeing the area-a good 2 night stay

The house was comfortable and it was nice to have a glass of wine while enjoying the cows and nature. The house was very clean except the coffee pot which had not been cleaned since the last tenant so it had a lot of mold but it cleaned up easily. Bathroom was great and all the condiments were so helpful. It was nice to be able to do the wash and cook meals after 2 weeks of hotels. Ronnie is very pleasant and attentive.

There is so much to love about this... out in the country, a tasty cucumber awaiting us to munch on, washer and dryer along with detergent, drinks and cold bottled water in the fridge, outside could have had a campfire if we wanted to start one, directv with DVD movies to watch. This was a whole home and can easily take care of a small family. Off the beaten path, but within a mile of a major highway! Now, there are a few things that could use updating (my #1 would have been a ceiling fan in the bedroom), but small things - nothing to stop me from coming back - very pleasant stay - highly recommend, esp if you're tired of the "motel" experience!

Neat little place

Quiet,cows nearby,and easy access to Van Buren. The owner greeted us and was so friendly! We had a short stay but the place was easy to get to,in good location,& clean and loved the cows greeting like home! We will be back again!

I am a life long resident of the Ellsinore area. I worked at school for 33 years . I still drive a bus for the school but retired from my secretarial position.

I decided to try the vacation rental thing. I have enjoyed meeting the people. I like to try to give them a little touch of the country life. This was my grandmothers house (remodled), we still refer to it as Maw's house. We stayed in this house when a tornado hit our in 2002 while we rebuilt ours. Even though they are fairly close. This house wasn't touched.

Country life, patio and rock firepit. Field in front and back of the house , woods on both sides. Most of the time the cows are here and most people enjoy seeing the cows
