Waterfall house is a unique and stunning 36-acre property with a stream & multiple waterfalls. A true get-away-from-it-all place. This mid-century modern style home offers 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths. The large, modern kitchen has an induction range, gas fireplace, and glass walls offering a view of the stream and the woods. The master bath has a separate tub and a steam shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed and views into the woods through huge windows.

The second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third can be either two twins or a king. The second bath has a tub/shower combination.

Outdoors, take a walk along the marked pathway through the woods, and you’ll find your own private waterfall. Or enjoy the hot tub, right off the back deck, and gaze into the woods. Bad weather? We have a 6.5' pool table to provide amusement until the sun comes back out! And in the warmer weather (3rd weekend in May through the 3rd weekend in September) we have a heated pool.

Yet, for all of the privacy, you are not isolated. You are only about 12 minutes away from the local grocery store and the center of friendly Saugerties, with all of its marvelous restaurants, antique stores, and HITS. In just 18 minutes, you can be in the center of Woodstock for a different kind of experience.

This property is very special. Renovated according to the design of a leading Hudson Valley architect, this one-story house takes the utmost advantage of the landscape. Mountains on one side, stream on another, magnificent woods all around—and you can see it no matter where you are in the house. Bridges lead across the stream, there is a seating area over the water, and you’ll find an old-fashioned swing hanging from a tree limb.


The house is very child friendly. We have some toys and games for the little ones, and there is a HUGE outdoor sandbox for the really little ones. Plenty of play space, too. We also have a Pack ‘N Play and Highchair. And, of course, the 6.5' pool table.

What else? Well, for the musician in you, if you are so inclined, we have an electric keyboard.

Beautiful!

I’ve been using VRBO for years. I think this was my favorite house. The communication with the property manager was outstanding, the cleanliness of the home, and fully stocked house. I can go on and on. I will definitely be back!

Great Property & Location; Super Clean

I stayed at Waterfall House for a long weekend with my wife and three kids. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable and functional with a great kitchen. We felt right at home. The grounds are also beautiful with lots to explore. Finally, while you feel very remote at the horse, it is located close to both Saugerties and Woodstock, each with lots of great dining and entertainment options.

Perfect Winter Vaca

My family had a perfect vacation. There was more than enough room for the 5 of us. We spent time at Hunter Mountain some days, just relaxing at the house and in Saugerties the other days. There’s plenty of space to just sit and read a book and enjoy the outdoors without seeing anyone else. But you’re also a close (15ish) drive to restaurants & activities. The outdoor surroundings were beautiful and my kids loved exploring. We enjoyed the hot tub, the trails, the frozen creek, and just listening to the waterfall just next to the house. The beautifully designed house- kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms- all add to the relaxing vibe of the property. We would definitely return.

Waterfall house.

A nice place tucked away in the woods with a few issues. Upon arrival we smelled a very strong foul odor in the master suite and kitchen area. We weren't able to figure out the source of the odor so dismissed it as a a sewer issue since the plumbing was acting up as well, which I will cricle back to. A few hours later we discovered the very large dead mouse that had been decomposing in the small utility room in the master suite. We disposed of the dead to get rid of the putrid smell. When we opened up the fold up matress in the living room we found it covered in mouse feces. The plumbing as well had issues as to constant air in the line. This would cause loud banging sounds when we flushed the toilets and sputtering pressure on and off while taking showers and using the sinks. Other than those issues, which unfortunately did put a bit of a damper on the trip, we did enjoy the overall stay.

Location, property and house is amazing but…

There is only 1 TV in the whole house. An additional TV in the master bedroom would have been great and an easy addition to upgrade. The beds are not very comfortable and caused a bit of a struggle at night. The couches are also very uncomfortable. The location and the property were just fantastic. The hot tub was perfect. But overall I would not stay again since sleeping was not good at all. And then when we wanted to relax in the living room (which is beautiful with all windows and a fireplace) we could not be comfortable there either.

Great place to stay while visiting the Catskills area. Beautiful house and property, hot tub and steam shower were both awesome after spending a day out snowboarding.

Exceptional property and host

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! The property was exactly as described, with a clean, well-maintained, and beautifully stocked house that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail inside the house was impressive, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy furnishings. The real standout, however, was the outdoor space—it was truly amazing! Whether relaxing in the hot tub, hiking through the woods, or just enjoying the scenery, the outdoor areas provided a perfect backdrop for making great memories.The host was communicative and ensured everything was ready for our arrival. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We hope to return soon!

LOVELY PROPERTY, MAGICAL PRIVATE SETTING

We had a really relaxing, enjoyable time at this really private and well laid out home! We took daily walks on the expansive property, and both my partner and our dog really loved the park like setting. The home itself is great too, and the floor to ceiling windows in the main living area of the home made the views so much greater. It really brought all of us to a peaceful happy place which is exactly what we are looking for when we do these get away weekends. Thanks very much for sharing this really wonderful property. Hot tub was a big plus too! House was very clean as well.

Will come back again!

The house was super clean and organized! It was great for us and our dogs. Very comfortable and the dog bones with local goodies as a check in gift was such a fantastic surprise!! The outdoor area and property was private, unique and had everything we would want. The previous renters did leave some garbage around, bug spray by the fire pit, wrappers and foil in the pool area. The pool was clean and refreshing, although the weeds in areas inside the pool fence and in the pool patio needed to be trimmed and/or removed. Other than that, location was good, house was fantastic, the pool was private and fenced so our dogs could just hang out with us. The amount of outdoor space was amazing. The woods were so fun to walk the dogs in and easy to get around, no bushwhacking necessary. The waterfall was the cherry on top, so unique and beautiful!!! We’re definitely going back again.

Incredible value for money

Your house is beautifully setup!! Loved our stay. The current photos don't do this justice. The waterfall is a great hike on the property. There's a lot of space for 3 couples to stay for multiple days, hang out in the kitchen, living room or dining room. And if you want privacy, take a stroll outside. The hot tub was perfectly placed on the deck outside the kitchen area. The hot tub can easily fit 6. The access to house is easy to find on Google maps. The restaurants in Saugerties are 15 mins drive away. Hiking is within 20 mins away Caution: mattresses in one bedroom feels like a college mattress and is two twins put together (as the property description says). Only mattress in the master bedroom is of incredible quality. That was the only negative. Even still I highly recommend this place for younger folks and those on a budget in the area. You can't get better value for money especially given how beautiful everything else is.

Rest and Relaxation

We were looking for a quick getaway between Christmas and New Year's to just relax with our family. This house not only fit the bill, but went above and beyond! The property is secluded and beautiful but also close to town for shopping or activity. The accommodations for 5 adults were perfect, and we did not feel cramped at all. Robyn, the property manager was very attentive and responded quickly to the few questions we had. We very much enjoyed our time here and are contemplating a return trip next fall. The perfect place for rest and relaxation!

Always Serene at the Waterfalls House!

Our second time at the Waterfalls house and it’s perfect for an active family of 4. Situated right in between Woodstock and Saugerties with access to all that surrounds. We love the hiking trails in the back of the property and relaxing near the fire and in the hot tub after a long day of walking/shopping/skiing. Thanks Robyn! We’ll be back soon.

Perfect Fall Getaway

Absolutely an incredible experience getting away from the city and enjoying the kickoff to Fall in this amazing home. The late nights visiting by the fire and listening to the nearby waterfall will be a memory I won’t forget. The property manager was fantastic and made sure everything was comfortable for our arrival. We will definitely be back to visit soon.

It is an absolutely beautiful location with total privacy and a stunning waterfall/gorge. The pool and hot tub make it a total package. Highly recommend. This was our second stay and we plan to return again. Thanks for the experience.

Great house in a beautiful location

This property was as good as advertised, very private location, the house was clean and well equipped, pool and hot tub were great. The house manager Robyn was very responsive when contacted about a couple of issues and resolved them promptly. Gigantic yard surrounded by gorgeous trees and waterfall. Bring insect repellent! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderfall escape

This is an fantastic location and house. Absolute privacy in the midst of nature, a wonderful waterfall to sit by, great hot tub and a beautiful modern house with all the amenities. There's also a very nice pool that we unfortunately could not enjoy given our stay in February, but it makes me want to return again when we can. Highest recommendations. Thank you!

Great Property - Secluded Getaway

My wife and I really enjoyed this property. It provided a relaxing and private getaway from the city. The hot tub off the back deck with a view of the mountains and wooded surroundings is a terrific feature. In the summer time, there is a pool available which looked like it would be fun. Everything was in good working order and overall I would highly recommend this property for those looking for some R&R.

Beautiful, private home, great location

We were so happy with this beautiful home. It was exactly what we were looking for, it was central to woodstock and saugerties towns but extremely private. The house itself was perfect for the 6 of us, it was super clean and open with huge beautiful windows overlooking a gorgeous piece of property. We will definetly be back in the summer to enjoy the pool and waterfall in the backyard.
