If you are wondering whether to book this villa…JUST DO IT! It is literally perfect! The house itself is completely adorable and comfortable and has every single thing you could ever imagine! It even had an iron, which can be hard to find when traveling in Europe sometimes. The layout is amazing and gives so many locations that you can be together..or have space to yourself. The beds are comfortable, linens nice, and there are a lot of towels for the bathrooms, kitchen, and beach. THE VIEWS from the house are SPECTACULAR!!!!! We watched the sun go down every night from one of the balconies (there are several). We walked to the down the street to a point in the island where we could watch the sunrise in the morning. It was stunning! We saw horses and goats, and it was such a nice walk. The beach is not far—a short drive. There are plenty of places to eat—one you can walk to, we loved—Zorbas!!! You can find others a short drive to Plaka, Amarydia, Kalves, etc.There are several super cute places in Plaka. And if you go to Georgiopoli, it is the cutest little town and has a lot of restaurants and beach. We will definitely return!!!!!!!! WE LOVED THIS VILLA SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Loved this place!

The villa in gorgeous with the most incredible views. It has everything you could want and more. The pool is beautiful and well maintained. There’s a gentle breeze off the Souda Bay most days to keep you cool. The range of outdoor and indoor spaces were perfect for our family with teenagers. We could bring everyone together and also we could go off individually and find our own space. A 10 minute walk to Kokkino Chorio (Sunday night in the village Taverna is fun with Cretan music and good rustic food) but in the middle of August it was too hot and hilly. We mostly drove to Plaka for groceries and restaurants and then Almyrida for the beach. Local beaches are amazing and the sea is warm. We spent a day in Chania and another at the Botanical Gardens - highly recommended. Would recommend hiring a car if you are going to stay here to get the most out of the area.

Magnifique !

Nous avons séjourner trois semaines dans cette incroyable villa. Une vue magnifique, piscine plus qu’apprécié. La propriétaire est très professionnelle et répond très vite à nos demandes via le site. Nous recommandons cette endroit les yeux fermé. Nous avons passé de superbes vacances et rentrons avec de beaux souvenirs !

Magnifique villa, séjour parfait

La villa est bien tenue, les gestionnaires très réactifs et agréables. Tout est parfait, rien ne manque dans cette jolie villa. La vue sur la baie de Souda est superbe, la villa est tellement agréable qu'on a à peine envie de visiter la région, qui pourtant, offre beaucoup d'attraits.

Traumurlaub

Die Villa Athina ist wirklich ein Schmuckstück.Die Lage ist wunderschön , genauso wie der Ausblick. Man braucht allerdings unbedingt ein Auto oder Motorrad, weil die Villa etwas abgelegen ist.Auch der Pool war sehr sauber.Die vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien , ein Traum. Es war wirklich ein Traumurlaub für uns.

Séjour de rêve

Aucun point négatif. Séjour paradisiaque. Emplacement, vue magnifique sur la baie de Souda. Propreté excellente. Confort. Welcome pack très bien garni, ce qui évite les courses dès l’arrivée. Indications en anglais très précises pour la route à suivre à l’arrivée, ce qui n’est pas du luxe car la villa se situe dans un endroit isolé sur les hauteurs. Excellent contact avec la gérante si on a une question. Bref, ce séjour fut une merveille. On reviendra.

Absolutely fantastic. The best villa we have ever stayed in.

It was a beautiful stone villa with space all around us. There was an amazing balcony looking over to Chania with breathtaking sunsets. We had breakfast on the terrace & a BBQ at the rear of the villa under a canopy of vines. The villa has everything you would wish for very well equipped & excellent WiFi. The pool was perfect & with a pleasant breeze it was a perfect place to sunbath & chill. You would need a car which we used to explore the area. There are some excellent places to eat just a short walk or short drive. A really wonderful experience would recommend Villa Athina.
