Memorial day and Labor day weeks are 6 nights minimum please! This beautiful very private house is just off the main lake in a large cove within visible distance from Eaton Ferry bridge and shopping centers. It has one of the best views/locations on Lake Gaston! Bring your boat or jet ski and keep it in the double boat house with a large top sun deck. Being in the main cove has huge advantage over main lake - even when there is a lot of wind/chop on the main lake, it is very quiet in our cove. Also there is not much traffic, so you don't have to worry about someone running over your children when they swim off the dock.
The water at the end of the dock is 5-7 ft. deep, perfect for diving/swimming. There is also a community picnic area less than half a mile away with private boat ramp and sandy beach/grill area. For those who are attached to civilization/technology even on vacation, will be happy to know that there is fast WiFi internet and a smart TV. House has two kitchen/dining areas, one upstairs and one downstairs, perfect for multiple families. Most bedrooms have unobstructed views of the lake (no trees!). Backyard features nice flat grassy lot suitable for games/outdoor play (cornhole set is provided). There is also a stone fire pit ready for roasting marshmallows. Large gas grill on the deck makes cooking easier.
Kids will enjoy canoeing to a small island short distance from the dock, perfect for exploration/play time.
The house is conveniently located in a small cozy neighborhood only a short drive from I-85/I-95/US1 and US401. Also close to shopping and restaurants (approx 10 minutes). Two very nice restaurants on both sides of Eaton Ferry bridge overlooking the lake are accessible by boat/pontoon, and are only 7 minutes away!
Linens/towels are provided (included by default into total price). Three kayaks are available for use free of charge. You can also bring your well-behaved dogs with you (if you wish to bring more than 2 dogs, please contact the owner for approval first).
Early check in and late checkout options are also available at an additional cost, subject to availability (check with the owner).
Family vacations only please. Memorial day and Labor day weeks are 6 nights minimum please. High season (June 1 - August 31) Saturday to Saturday rentals only.

Family Thanksgiving

We rented the house over Thanksgiving week for a family get together. The house was very comfortable and worked well for two families. Only complaint -- it needs a larger dining table. There was lots of seating at the bars but that is not the same as sharing a table.

Excellent Lake Vacation Rental

We stayed for a week with 5 people, 2 dogs and still had rooms to spare! House was extremely clean and looked just like the pictures. Great for entertaining, swimming, and boating. A short boat trip to multiple restaurants and beaches. Looking forward to next year!

Overall a good stay

Overall the rental property was good. The clothes washer and dryer need work or need to be replaced. Also, the last night we were there, two men in a truck came by twice to try and steal things out of our trucks and boats. So, lock your vehicles.

Great House and Lake location

We chose this house primarily because the owner allowed us to bring our two dogs. The house is well-equipped, spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. With two full kitchens, 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms we had plenty of room. The backyard is large and flat which is great for outdoor games. The dock is spacious with plenty of seating. The location on the large cove is great for water sports and is close to the main lake, too. The water depth next to the dock is about 4-6 feet; great for swimming. We’d definitely stay here again!

Everything we wanted in one house!

Casa de Lago is very well equipped with everything from kitchen utensils and appliances to kayaks and corn hole. The decks and dock made our stay very memorable. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful cottage for a beautiful stay with my family!

The boat dock is awesome! The weather was overcast for a couple of days but the backyard and fire pit made up for it!

Family Fun!

Dmitri's house was fabulous! There was plenty of room for my family of 7 (adults) and 2 big boy dogs. The dock was fabulous and had plenty of room for us to hang out on when we were not swimming in the cove or heading out on our boat. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property while we enjoyed making family memories.

Great watersport area

Perfect location for watersports! Long protected cove from the open choppy waters. Great view from the dock to watch the action. Gentle sloping yard to the water.

Perfect

The house was spotless when we arrived. Just like the pictures. The sheets and towel package was super helpful. Communication with the owner was seamless. The house has 2 floors so there are some steps. But, my sister had knee surgery in March and she had not problems. We had 4 couples and 2 teenagers. The upstairs kitchen has everything you would need to cook a gourmet meal. The downstairs kitchen is also nicely equipped but we did all of our cooking upstairs. The sofa and chairs are super comfy as are the beds. 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with a private bath. 2 bedrooms downstairs with bathroom. We spent most of our time down by the lake at the boat house talking and swimming. The water is deep and floating was great. 3 kayaks are available. The back yard slopes gently so walking to and from the lake was no problem and we even played lawn games. There are 2 decks, one covered downstairs. It was a wonderful family vacation where everyone had plenty of room for themselves and for coming together. I will highly recommend to my friends.

Second time staying here for good reasons!

There is so much room here for our 6 adults and our dogs. The lake is an easy few steps from the house and the boat dock is a great place to hang out in the warm weather. Dimitri is a fantastic host and very responsive. Hopefully there will be a 3rd stay in our future!

FABULOUS VACATION SPOT

Our stay at Lake Gaston was Amazing! Dmitri's home was very clean, comfortable and spacious! We had 13 people including my college aged kids, their cousins and a few friends. The two separate living areas and kitchens were invaluable. There was plenty of dining space upstairs including the large island, kitchen table and outside on the back deck, as well as plenty of room to make large meals. We loved the two story dock with plenty of spaces in the sun and shade. Dmitri let us use the boat lift and covered dock to store our boat, so that was a definite plus! The large private cove was right off the main lake and close to the Point for dining but also much quieter with less wake than the main lake. Dmitri was available by phone or text for any questions. We give this vacation location 5 stars+++++ and will definitely be back!!! JP

Family Trip

This house was perfect for our get together with family! There were 4 couples so the layout was set up nicely for everyone to have their own space. Having two kitchens/living rooms was great and all of the couples had their own bathroom! The Lake was amazing, nice to sit on the dock and watch all of the action or just kick back and relax. There was a boat rental nearby so we rented a pontoon boat for the week. Some family members also booked a charter for catching some large catfish and Striper. Brought back the Striper for some good eating! Would definitely recommend this house and/or stay again in the future. Hosts are easy to communicate with and reply quickly. Overall a very good experience!

Peace and Serenity

What a wonderful week. There is plenty of room in this home for everyone to spread out. Most of our week was spent on the dock and in the lake. Communication with the owner was fantastic. There is so much extra at this home. Cooking supplies, first aid kit, things for the pets and 2 refrigerators. Our group ranged from 7-84 and we all had a great time. There are multiple outdoor seating areas in the sun or the shade. Our only issue was having to run to town for ice since the ice machine was shut off. There are ice trays, but we had big coolers. We will definately be returning here.

Lovely lake vacation

We just spent a lovely week at Dmitri’s place. It was clean on arrival, check-in was easy, the sheets and towels package was perfect, and the kitchen was well equipped. Dmitri was very responsive to inquiries. You can’t beat dinner on the back porch with a stunning view of the lake and the beautiful sitting areas at the boathouse. We swam off the dock every day. Highly recommend.

Perfect!

We planned a on having on a monumental Birthday party for my wife having family and friends and two dogs included and it fit us perfectly. Everything is clean and bright including boat house area we brought a smaller boat that fit in the boat house and we also brought a bigger boat tied up easily to the dock. The two stories came in handy should I need to break away lol. I have no complaints

Great Location and House

This house and property had everything and more that we wanted for a perfect Lake vacation. It's located in a quiet community with a flat, short stroll down the boardwalk to the well equipped boat house. The owners were very quick with responses and very accommodating. I highly recommend this property!

Special Family time

The property was great! We love the water and enjoyed every minute on the water. The dock was great and allowed us space for our boat. There was a nice shaded area for comfort. The walk to the dock is short and safe with a great walkway. The house was perfect and the space was comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to questions when asked. There was adequate information for preparation prior to the trip. There are a fair number of steps on this property if the guests have trouble with steps. However, our family was able to navigate the steps a few times a day easily utilizing the handrails. This house and property is great for families that love to spend time together. Very relaxing! We will definitely consider this location for another family vacation.

We had a great stay at Casa de Largo. The home was just as advertised!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The weather was perfect. It was such a perfect way to spend time with the family. We spent the majority of the day on the boat and lounging around at the dock!!
