Casita Pacifica- great 2BR/1BA house steps from Samara & Carrillo Beaches

This is a very unique and well built house (bedroom + bedroom loft) on our property that also includes a larger 4 bedroom house (listed as Casa Pacifica).

They also provide concierge services, so you get all the hotel benefits and your own rental house. (this is also why you don't see reviews since 2022, this house had been combined with the larger house as one rental from 2022-2026).

This house has a large kitchen with an island, dining area, and a full living room with cathedral ceilings, a front deck, a side covered terrace - and the entire place is covered in tile and wood from local artisans. This house shares a circular driveway and has it's own parking area, entrance and outside areas. It is separate from the main house for privacy but can also be rented along with the main house for large groups.

The property is directly between the towns of Samara and Carrillo. We are only 200 yards from Samara Beach, one of the safest swimming beaches in C.R.. Towns are convenient for shopping and restaurants, but far enough for some privacy. We do have 2 restaurants next door (The Hideaway Hotel and Montelaguna Boutique Hotel) and there are dozens of restaurants in Samara which is only 10 mins by car or a 45 minute walk down the beach from the house. The local town of Torito is less than a mile up the road and has 3 grocery stores.

Samara is the perfect getaway for anyone who loves the beach and wants to be immersed in Costa Rican culture. It is a great destination for families since the beaches are great for swimming and the town of Samara is safe and laid-back. You can drive there from either Liberia International or San Jose Airport on paved roads. Two beaches are just minutes away on foot and are both perfect for swimming since they are warm water year round and protected by a barrier reef. Samara beach is only 200 yards from our front gate.

SO MUCH TO SEE: The area is full of nature. Local wildlife includes monkeys, iguana, coatamundi, whales, dolphin, crocodile and an endless array of birds.


SO MUCH TO DO: Activities in Samara include kayaking, boat tours and zip line canopy tours. This is also surfing county and Samara is a good place for the beginner or novice to ride the waves – or experts can head 30 minutes in either direction on the coast to world class surf. Carrillo has a great waterfall you can get to on horseback. Fishing fans will love the large variety of fish including rooster-fish, tuna, wahoo, dolphin (mahi), sailfish & blue marlin. For the thrill-seekers there are even ultra-light plane tours.
