Mule Deer Meadow offers some of the best mountain views in Tahoe with direct access to the National Forrest from the backyard. Conveniently located next to Lake Tahoe, Heavenly, and the Casino's (all less than 8 miles away). This brand new estate built in 2016 includes a blend of modern and rustic design and has mountain views from every room in the house. The open floor plan is ideal for large groups and includes a game room with pool table, wet bar, and sauna. This professionally furnished home provides the setting for lasting memories. MAXIMUM LEGAL OCCUPANCY:
*14 (Children 5 and under do not count)
You may not exceed the maximum occupancy of 14, not including children 5 and under.
*6 Cars (3 in garage, 3 on driveway). No street parking is allowed.

NOISE
*We love our neighbors and we can't have excessive noise at this house. If you are looking to make noise then please find a a more suitable location. The last thing we want to do is interrupt your vacation.
*South Lake Tahoe has highly enforced quiet hours of 10pm - 8am. Please do not make any noise outdoors during quiet hours. Hot tub use must end by 10pm.
*House is equipped with noise monitors that measure decibels only.

AIR CONDITONING
*We are in the 5% of homes with central air conditioning! The top two floors have AC. The lower floor does no have AC, however this floor is typically cooler.

PRIVATE Suite: Our house has a private third story suite that includes one bedroom and one bath. There is a separate entry to the private suite.

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE ALL TRAVELERS TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO ENSURE PROTECTION IN THE EVENT YOU FEEL THE NEED TO CANCEL FOR ANY REASON.

Amazing experience

The house and the host were 5 stars. Everyone loved not only the house but the location as well. We had so much fun and had more than enough room for everyone. The downstairs area was perfect for a fun evening.

Tahoe vacation

Excellent location and room for all 16 of us. We lived the Lake, the hiking trail right next to us and that the house was well appointed,, everything you’d need.

Great property for extended family vacation

We were a party of 20 (10kids under 10). We enjoyed the house, the nearby trails and the many activities in the S Lake Tahoe. The weather was awesome.

Awesome - New Property

Chad is an awesome host. The place was great. Very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfy as well. Distance to the actual town was better than the distance it says. Straight shot on one road. Very easy place to get around. Loved every minute of it.

Beautiful home in fantastic location

The home was very clean and well maintained. Loved being able to hike from the house. Short drive to South Lake Tahoe. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Hope to stay at this beautiful home again next time we travel with a big group.

Lovely home!

Our family of sixteen, (ten couples and six children, six and under), fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! The kitchen is well stocked, (two dishwashers with plenty of dishes, silverware, pans and serving dishes) and the bedrooms comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. It was also in a great location: ten minute drive to Lake Tahoe, ten minute drive to Fallen Leaf Lake and trails right out the back door. I gave it a four for location because there are no trees around the house and no shade; the area is in the process of recovering from a burn in 2007.

Amazing Home

An amazing beautiful home for our family reunion. Looks exactly like the photos. Very well stocked with everything we needed. There were 16 of us and plenty of rooms and space for everyone. The hosts were so nice and very quick to respond. Loved every second here and will definitely be back!

Beautiful home and location

We stayed here during our annual family Tahoe trip and it did not disappoint. We were able to comfortably stay with 15 adults and 5 children. The location is great for anyone wanting to go to Heavenly. The backyard view is stunning when it’s snowing. The house was very well stocked with tons of kitchen items, towels, dish soap and hand soap. Chad and Helen were so communicative from the get-go and made this booking seamless. Would definitely stay again.

High school friends

We are group of 6 couples who were friends in high school 50 years ago and now travel annually to meet up and reconnect. The home was perfect size for us and kitchen was very well stocked for the wine pairing meal a member of the group prepares each year. The air conditioning was a bit challenging, but it got cool enough each evening to open windows and cool the house down. I would recommend this property to any similar sized group.

Great extended family ski trip

House was great, just as advertised and easily fit the 7 adults and 7 kids without feeling cramped at all. House was very well stocked on all the basics (soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags, spices, etc). Communication was excellent and quick on any questions we had. Would highly recommend the house and we would certainly stay here again.

Family Vacation.

We gathered with our 4 adult children, their spouses and all our grandchildren. The home for our large group worked perfectly. Room for everyone. Comfortable vibe throughout. The game room and jacuzzi was a plus for the teenagers in our group! The kitchen was above expectation as far as having so many needed utensils, pans, and dishes for a large group. Close to all activities. I would definitely stay in this home again.

Amazing home for our ski trip to Tahoe

Our group of 13 (7 adults and 6 elementary aged kids) had a wonderful stay for our ski trip to South Lake Tahoe. The house had plenty of space and was absolutely perfect for our group. The kids loved the bunk bed rooms, the adults loved having king sized beds, which were all very comfortable, as well. The two dishwashers and two washers/driers were so nice to have. The kitchen was well equipped (including a big crock pot and anything you could need) to easily cook dinner at the house after a long day of skiing. The hot tub and pool table were fun amenities as well. We hope to come back sometime soon!

The best house for your vacation

This house is accumulated with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Clean linens, comfortable beds, 2 hair dryers, dryer sheets, hand soap, dishwasher soap, foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags, food storage containers, spices, oil... Take your laundry detergent and trash bags (only one extra kitchen trash bag was provided). We had trouble using the oven with a broken knob but the owner responded quickly to help us with that.

Fantastic location

I stayed here with a large group of family and friends. The kids were absolutely enthralled with the location. They pulled on snow gear in the mornings and stayed out all day. The access to the open space meant they could sled, build forts, have snowball fights and explore to their hearts content. The parents enjoyed the ability to check on them out the window while cooking or playing games or hot tubbing. The house was spotlessly clean and very well stocked. The beds were super comfortable, too! Communication was fast and efficient. Highly recommend this to any group, just be aware that there are lots of stairs, so not the best house for anyone with mobility issues.

Great House!

This was our family’s first visit to Lake Tahoe and this house was the perfect place to stay. When looking for a place to sleep 15 people comfortably, this house met our needs! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Most of the bedrooms had king beds which the adults loved. The bunk rooms were perfect for our 7 grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed and the dining table was big enough for all of us to eat together! I can’t say enough about how perfect this house was for us. It was all that we needed to make our time in Lake Tahoe very comfortable. Another favorite was the laundry baskets in the bedrooms and two washers and dryers! I highly recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a home away from home! We loved it!

Perfect house for a large group

We had a wonderful time at this property. We were a group of 14 adults and 3 little kids and we there was a lot of space to feel comfortable. This house has 3 floors, as you enter, in the top floor you will find the main living area, kitchen and 3 rooms ( master, king, and double bunkbeds). In the second floor you have 3 rooms ( 2 king and 1 queen with bunk bed); and in the lower floor there is the sauna, pool table, hot tub and 1 king room. We really liked they had a hare to use to secure the stairs for the kids and in general. Also the dinning area had a very large table and we all sat comfortably. In the back of the house there is a large open area and it was ideal for the kids to go out and play in the snow. We enjoyed our stay!
