Modern elegance and spacious room

We had a great stay in this lovely cottage which was laid out very nicely with a separate kitchen, dining and living room. It was also a very short drive to a train station with parking which made getting to and from London very easy.

Lovely renovated Victorian cottage

Avenue Cottage was a great find for our family group. Nearby Ashstead Village had lovely shops and eating places. Access to the M25 was just minutes away. The owners were friendly and responded very quickly to us. Definitely can recommend this property.

Wonderful stay in Ashtead!

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Greg’s property. They were incredibly responsive to all our questions, the home is very clean, well furnished and appointed for all your cooking needs. Ashtead was a great jumping off point for us to revisit many of our old haunts in Surrey, Sussex and Kent. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a wonderful time!

A lovely stay in a pretty cottage

We received a very warm welcome from Sarah on arrival. The cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean throughout. The beds were comfortable and our children especially loved the attic bedroom. The cottage is well located for lots of local attractions: we visited RHS Wisley, Box Hill and Hampton Court Palace. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Brilliant and easy! Sarah looked after us meticulously from start to finish. Local ‘cook’ and M&S food hall just down the road made cooking super easy along with a very well stocked kitchen at the cottage. We will definitely book again for family to stay. Cant recommend enough. Thanks again Sarah and Greg!

Dear Sylvia, such a shame you only felt able to give us 4/5 stars - we were delighted to have hosted you; you were such nice guests. I’m a bit confused as to your rating as you did not leave any comments here to explain. Also given the lovely feedback from you and the others in your party, the speedy communication you received from us, the help we provided the moment it was requested throughout the stay (we were on hand a few times to assist) and the fact you commented about just how beautiful and clean the cottage was, sadly doesn’t seem to match your review. You also mentioned to me how convenient the location was to your offices. I can only think this was an oversight on your part. If there was something which wasn’t to your liking I only hope you respond to my request for further feedback so we might improve things for future guests, as we work very hard to make sure everything is perfect, which is reflected in all the other 5* ratings we have received. Thank you for your booking and I hope to hear from you. Best wishes Sarah
