A lovely comfortable cottage with a fantastic view of the estuary.

A lovely comfortable cottage with a fantastic view of the estuary. Well equipped and comfortable.Nearby pub and shop.Easy to reach Fowey, Charlestown and well positioned to explore this picturesque part of Cornwall. Space for car parking and lovely log burner.Would recommend!

The cottage is absolutely lovely, very comfortable for our needs.

The cottage is absolutely lovely, very comfortable for our needs. Pub next door and small shop are handy. Downside; remote, which is why we chose it, but need a car for any supermarket and lack of phone signal-WiFi in cottage works great. Perfect for the reason we picked it which was to completely switch off and relax.

Lovely situation and very nice cottage.

Lovely situation and very nice cottage. The village is isolated and only has one small shop for 'essentials. Sadly the cottage had no CH (temp?) so reliant on electric heaters and a nice, if a little hard work, wood burner. Some nice local walks along the river woodland but hilly, damp and not easy in places. Very young children and the less mobile might struggle. Pub is 100 feet away and very friendly (plus dogs). In the end we did not eat there. We did get a supermarket delivery in the week, no problem. Very friendly robin on the front window. All in all a nice, quiet stay if probably better suited to warmer and drier weather.

An extremely comfortable and well equipped cottage set in an idyllic village but not too far off the beaten track to explore other parts of Cornwall. We had an excellent holiday at Florin cottage.

We had an excellent holiday at Florin cottage. The village is lovely and an excellent base for exploring Cornwall. The cottage is extremely well equipped which was a lovely surprise as with other cottages we have rented you had to take your own condiments etc. The caretaker gave us some very helpful tips for places to explore and we arrived to home made scones jam and cream. Highly recommend for families.

Excellent base for exploring North Cornwall.

Excellent base for exploring North Cornwall. Only downsides were fridge which was inadequate due to missing/broken door shelving and only one shelf in main compartment. Also, all PAT test stickers showing on electrical equipment (which was good) but all 14 months out of date (which was not!). Would stay there again though

A wonderful holiday cottage in a totally unspoilt part of the world.

A wonderful holiday cottage in a totally unspoilt part of the world. Everyone made us feel very welcome. The dog loved the river walks.
