Cozy Packwood Ski Cabin near White Pass and Mt Rainier

Fantastic cabin in Packwood, WA about a half-hour from White Pass Ski Resort, 15 minutes to Mt Rainier National Park, and about an hour to Paradise.

1 queen bed, 1 bath plus a futon for kids.

- Firepit in back,
- Charcoal BBQ grill with real mesquite charcoal on hand, -
- Free super-fast wifi,
- Netflix and a high-definition 4k TV.

Summers are awesome up here, with tons of fishing and hiking, and it is a great little mountain town to poke around in.

Perfect for photography, wildlife viewing, and bird watching. Walk the creek, walk the lake. Fishing, Hiking, and State Parks are all nearby.

Even though it's small, our updated cabin is about as nice as you will ever find in this low price range. The cabin is beautiful and fully equipped with everything you'll need except food which you can pick up on the way.

About your dog: It's okay to bring your potty-trained, medium-sized dog, but only if you clean up after it. Only one dog and no other animals are allowed. If it's a barker, then please leave it at home. There is a $50 non-refundable pet fee.

It's really important to us that your stay is comfortable, easy, and meets all your expectations.

Great place to stay for our trip to Mt. Rainier! Hosts were very responsive to any questions that we had. As others have said, the nearest market is very expensive, like 12.99/lb of ground beef expensive, so you should stock up on your way there or brace yourself. Also, the brewery in town is AWESOME, with a great vibe and very reasonable prices. Would definitely stay again!

This tiny cabin is perfect for a ski weekend. It has everything that you need for a comfortable stay - cookware, bedding, towels, pantry basics, movies and games. It was cozy, easy to access, very comfortable bed, and a perfect place to land after a long day of skiing.

Property was beautiful and quiet. We were seemingly the one ones around which was wonderful. March get away! Only thing we noticed was a lack of blankets, the one comforter on the bed helped but for lounging on the couch it had to migrate with us. John was very responsive to my inquires and was very kind. We had family stop by for a few hours and John was very accommodating for that. Thank you for a great stay!

The cabin is in a great location and close to the National Park. It’s small, as stated in the description, but secluded and everything you’d need. We would stay there again especially to visit the town elk that came into the yard!

Went for Honeymoon, Excellent Spot

Enjoyed our honeymoon hiking and exploring here. Had a great time with this cabin, very friendly and helpful hosts.

We love this cabin!!!! I'm laughing at the person who said it sits between two busy roads. I think we heard exactly one car go by the entire time we were there. The best part of this cozy little cabin in my opinion was the availability of firewood and the fireplace. We spent both nights of our stay cuddled up next to a lovely fire. Truly, this place is a gem. Something I must note is the kindness and generosity of the cleaner. I was franticly trying to clean some clothes for my baby and having trouble, and she kindly offered to come get our laundry and do it for us after informing us that the closest laundromat was 45 minutes away. Luckily it was user error on my part and she didn't need to follow through on her offer, but her willingness to help was SO appreciated! We highly recommend the nearby Emmons Moraine Trail. A gorgeous walk through the woods that opens up to stunning views. And easy for kids! We did it with a 1.5 year old on our backs! I added a photo to convince you.

Mount Rainier Hiking Trip

It was a great little spot and perfect for what we needed! We were going hiking in Mount Rainier and this place allowed us to get there pretty quickly! The place had everything that we needed!

Very cute cabin! It’s right on the edge of packwood so you have access to stuff in town and it’s only about an hour to paradise! We loved it!
