Overall a good accommodation with the real exception being parking. Quite awkward being situated at the adjacent property in front of a busy pub/restaurant with inconsistent availability.

We really enjoyed our time in The Apartment.It was well equipped with everything we needed. It was an excellent base to explore Bath & Oxford. We had dinner & drinks at the White Harte during our stay - well worth a visit.The bed was very comfortable.We would highly recommend this property.

Lovely unique property

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was a great location from which to drive around and explore, and in the evening we unwound at the White Harte next door.The property was cute, comfortable, and private. Communication and instructions were very clear, allowing for a seamless check-in and stay.

This is a warning.This vacation rental spans three floors, connected by narrow spiral staircases. Ground floor entrance: a door with a simple bolt lock that cannot be locked. First floor: bathroom with toilet, and !!! a locked passageway leading to the neighboring apartment.This creates a sense of insecurity, as there is no other door inside the apartment. Parking is not allowed in front of the building. You are advised to park in the parking lot of the neighboring pub, whose main course you can actually smell inside the apartment. You’ll only be able to enjoy the promised view if you’re over 180 cm tall and can look out of the tiny skylights. Incidentally, the apartment isn’t insulated; you’ll feel like you’re sleeping in a tent by the highway. The fact that the floor creaks with every step is therefore irrelevant. Don’t expect to find two matching glasses—except for a couple of pint glasses—or for the wall clock to work. If the kettle is completely encrusted with limescale and the oven is unusable due to grease and odors, please don’t be surprised by a foul-smelling bathtub drain and mold growing in the tile grout.I’m tired of going into further detail. Don’t let yourself be disappointed.

Gosh, I’m extremely surprised to read this as your review. I’m so disappointed that none of these concerns were brought to my attention during your stay. I thought I’d shown how eager I am to ensure all guests have a great time when you had difficulties operating the tv with free view box, I went straight out and bought a whole new smart tv within the hour. I would have been only too happy to rectify kettle and glass issues too. Sadly I can’t control the weather so the fact that it was hot and you had the windows open meaning you could therefore smell the food from next door is out of my hands. I believe the apartment layout is described clearly within the advert but all other points raised I will look into further. I really hope in future you address concerns with the owner before leaving such negative words out in the public domain. I would have liked the opportunity to fix any and all issues prior to your departure but definitely before you tarnished our business so harshly. I’m really disappointed that I wasn’t able to ensure you had a wonderful stay. Please accept my sincerest apologies. I will fix all issues that I can imminently to make sure no other guest feels this way. Obviously there will be the constraint of it being a listed building so windows, layout etc cannot be adjusted.

A country feel but big city convenience.

We really enjoyed our stay and figuring out the buses made it even better. Getting into Bristol was simple, followed by a great meal at the pub next door and finish the day off in a comfortable loft with a cup of tea! We would stay hear again.

Very nice experience

The accommodation caters for your every need. The accommodation was clean and well equipped.The White Harte next door was an excellent venue for drinks and dinner. Well worth a stop .We will return. Thank you.

This is a lovely fiat close to dining and Bristol/Bath and the Cotswolds. Chantelle was very helpful every step of the way.

Apartment in converted church

Well appointed apartment ideal for a couple. Nicely situated between Bath and Bristol. Couple of pubs with easy walking distance. Was very clean and tidy. The spiral staircase up to the living area is novel. We’d stay there again.

Character Property

Charming old chapel has been converted into a very comfortable and cute one bedroom apartment. Fitted out with everything you need and very clean. Hosts are super responsive. Great location on the edge of Bristol, situated next to a lovely country pub. Delightful!

We had a fantastic stay at the Apartment during our time in Bristol! It's a perfect location between Bristol City centre and Bath, with lovely walking trails and essential shops nearby. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. It's a great quiet spot as well and spacious enough to relax and windy down on an evening. We loved walking next door to the pub too! Thank you for a wonderful stay, I'm sure we will be back next time we're in town.
