It was a beautiful house which was a perfect location to island beach. We loved the house and every minute of the stay. Communication with the host was great and all questions were answered promptly. Would definitely recommend this property

Amazing location

The house has been set up to make the most of the amazing views & setting . It is very well equipped & extremely comfortable with a modern stylish decor .We appreciated the detailed communication from the owners too . .Our family had a wonderful time & look forward to returning .

Beach holiday gem

Superb beachside house overlooking pristine blue waters. The property has very comfortable living areas and the well fitted out kitchen and laundry made everyday living a cinch. This is a great property for relaxing and enjoying beachside living.

Wonderful stay

The property was exceptional! Great location, cleanliness and support through the booking process. When I needed a little extra help Rosie answered the phone to help within several rings which helped us stay efficient checking in and our stay be enjoyable. Thank you so much for having us, we'll definitely be back :)

Wonderfully comfortable house.

The deck was perfect for my family and I. It's extremely comfortable in an excellent location on beautiful Island Beach. Communication with the owner was friendly and easy. Would love to return.

Stunning

Beautiful house, amazing views, wonderful host. Everything you could want, with beach access at your doorfront. Only disappointment was the pillows, which are in desperate need of replacing.

Perfect!

We had a fabulous stay at The Deck on Island Beach. The photos simply don't do the house, the view or the location justice! The house is well designed for a family or group stay and is equipped with every possible item you could need for an enjoyable holiday. We loved spending afternoons on the deck, wine glass in hand, watching the dolphins feeding close to shore, or the friendly kangaroos literally metres away. We will definitely be back!

Amazing property

We loved our stay at The Deck. The house is beautifully appointed, and generously stocked with the essentials. We also really appreciated how clean it was. The location is next level amazing - beautiful sandy beach - oh so quiet - and nightly visits from inquisitive kangaroos. For us it was the perfect location to explore the island from. On a side note: the driveway is very steep and would have been difficult to manage for our parents, not a problem for us and our teen daughter though.

Bliss on a beach

A truly wonderful experience. Daily walks on a beautiful beach. Privacy and comfort are key. It was akin to staying in a luxury hotel without the crowds. We could highly recommend this property

The Deck Island Beach

Fantastic property, gives you everything you need in a perfect location overlooking Island Beach. House is clean and tidy, and everything very smooth and easy to deal with. Our second visit, and hopefully not our last. :)

Great Family Holiday

Every year we take our children and grandchildren on an overseas adventure holiday. We decided to try something closer to home because of Covid-19. 'The Deck' provided the eight of us with modern, clean and well appointed accommodation on one of the nicest beaches in Kangaroo Island. Island beach is close enough to Penneshaw and provides a great base to explore everything that Kangaroo Island has to offer. We highly recommend this property to other family's. Regards Trevor

Summer in July

It was our first time at Island Beach and The Deck was the perfect spot to spend the most unexpected glorious weather. The beach is perfect for long walks and bird watching as is sitting on the deck and observing the bird life in the trees and shrubs that surround the house. The house was extremely well appointed with uninterrupted views of the beach and also very quiet.

A real treasure

A beautiful home overlooking the beach. The views and sounds of the waves were fantastic. So relaxing. Everything inside was in good order. We'll be back :)

Mini break

Stay was really good, property very clean and well equipped. However hot water system was a little average, we were only allowed 1x 3min shower per day otherwise there was not enough hot water. Both my wife and I missed out on showers one night due to this Problem. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thanks

Phenomenal

This house is phenomenal. Beautiful views and the beach is just a quick 2 minute walk. The design of the house is great and the bedrooms are separated from main living area which is great if you want a sleep in. We sat on the huge decking area in the evenings and we would have kangaroos and wallabies visiting just a few minutes away !! Location is private and you can just enjoy a nice escape away from city life but with the comfort still. Highly recommend it! House would suit a big family or group as sleeps a lot of people. Rooms are also really spacious. Facilities are fantastic (washing powder and basic amneties provided) so you don’t have to pack anything like that. We will be back
