What a View!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! The location cannot be beat! We especially loved access to the nearly private beach and the amazing front porch! We spent most of our time there! Thank you, Fred, for a wonderful time!

Great family ocean view rental

Stayed here with my family during thanksgiving. The house was perfect. The rolling waves lulled us to sleep. Perfect home for a family trip. The green room was our favorite bedroom. Super comfy mattress. The property manager George was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this rental.

Misrepresented

First of all the host switched homes on us after we had paid our reservation in full over a year ago. We were put into a house that we were told would be equal to our original reservation. The house was not updated. There were exposed, electrical outlets, water damage, no air conditioning, dust spiderwebs, black mold, growing out of the air conditioning units black mold on the mattresses and black mold on the draperies, the hot tub was filled with green moldy water. The advertised sauna was used for storage. The steam shower did not function, but mostly there were serious health and safety concerns at this home and it was disgusting.

Vacation house

We booked this place but a week before our stay the owner moved us to another house around the corner because the current renters wanted to stay longer. You could tell parts of the new house hadn’t been used in a while and were a little dirty but for the most part everything was ready for us.

Great Stay!!

We had a wonderful stay in Scituate! The house is beautiful and the location is amazing. We spent hours sitting on the porch, enjoyed the charming town of Scituate and the local beaches. We will be back again.

Great location

Overall a great property, could use updating on the furniture/linens, we had a family staying next door that you can hear clearly on the first level, and the code to get in didn’t work when we arrived.

Beautiful home but we ran into some issues.

Beautiful home but the property owner lacks attention to detail. The location is great and we enjoyed our stay. There are TVs but there is no cable service. We were not informed of this. Some of the furniture on the large front deck facing the ocean is old and worn and should be replaced. Because of this, two chairs broke while we were there. There is a basement with kayaks and bikes that you can use but be aware this is a community basement for all of the owner’s rentals to use. Don’t put anything in there that you don’t want someone else to borrow for a while. We were not informed that this space was shared by all the rentals.

Nothing worked

The house was nice, the TV's did not work, the stereo did not work, no toaster, no spatula, bowls nothing, the passcode given brought us into the adjoining neighbors house, did not know that a door would lead us into another family's place (were not told this , dog barking you could hear everything. My family and I have not all been together in almost 11 years, and for this house to be unequipped with the bare necessities having to constantly run to the store for things took away our time. I paid a lot of money for this place for EVERYTHING to be unhooked, the gentleman Fred had to help us was unable to, he had no idea how to hook up the TV's Stereo etc. the remote did not even match the living room tv, I am EXTREMLY disappointed and really embarrassed,, the Kering had an old pod in it the garbage bins discusting, dirty dishes in the drawers, If you want 850 a night in the colder seasons you have got to do something, Fred also said because there was no grass, (metal sticking up in yard, rusty nails) we could use the other property across from us,This was occupied and rally? they had dogs and kids running around over there would of been ruining their vacay. The suana DID NOT WORK Again other peoples house as he said we could use it, all and all I am really upset and hurt. I am glad we have a family hat made the best of it, this was for my mom also (NEEDED A DOWNSTAIRS ROOM She had the worst time getting upstairs) she fell as a result, all and all Fred I have rented my home Directions on how things work, were they go how to do anything.. We had NO IDEA where the stores were, food, etc. I feel you are only interested in making money and DO NOT CARE about the happiness of your guests!!! BAD BAD BAD and shame on you!@@!@!@

Great location for our Wedding

Great house and location. Property owner addressed all our questions and was helpful during our stay. Comfortable for a large family. The Master Bedroom had plenty of room and a great balcony that overlooked to water.

Scituate wedding weekend with my tribe

House was lovely inside and the air conditioning was a godsend. Nice unobstructed view of the water (above the sea wall) from the front porch. Was a nice quiet part of the street too. The owner was very responsive when we had a problem with the lock at midnight.

Cozy.

Nice house, fully equipped. However there was a 25 foot high pile of rocks on the beach in front of the house. A sea wall is being constructed. Workers start up the tractors, etc. at 6:30 every morning. Impossible to sleep after that. We had little kids so it wasn't a big deal to us. Can't see the beach or ocean from the nice front porch because of construction vehicles, and materials. Door locks could use some work. Overall, a nice place. Would stay again.

No Beach at all, misrepresented

There is a beautiful sandy beach in the photos. In reality, they are building a new beach wall amd there is active construction, a 20 foot pile of rocks,and no view of the beach at all. The booking agent knew this and did not tell us. We packed up and left immediately.The owner has promised to refund our money.
