Great location. Very walkable. Well appointed and stocked for a family. We loved watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch. Quiet neighborhood. Near local shops and restaurants. The hosts communicated very effectively and provided good information about the house and area as well.

The house exceeded our expectations! Our host checked in with us making sure we had everything we needed, and was very responsive to any questions we had. We had a wonderful week in Scituate!

The house was beautiful and immaculate. Bob and Barb were the best hosts we have ever experienced. Very attentive and truly wanted us to have an amazing stay. I would recommend staying in this home a million times over. Thank you Bob and Barb for a wonderful experience!

Everything was wonderful. Check in was smooth and simple. Bob and Barb are great at communication. Had everything you could need and more at the house. Views were impeccable. Everyone is so friendly in scituate. 10/10

Excellent house! There’s no direct beach access from house but the beach is a short walk away! We enjoyed watching the wildlife off the porch out back (saw seals!). The house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked for any need. The owners were extremely nice and communicative. Would definitely rent again!

Great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob and Barbara's house. The location was excellent, within walking distance to town (about 20 minute walk). Great views, nice and quiet at night. Hottub was a hit for the kids.

Great Stay!

Bob was fantastic to deal with…prompt and informative with every question. The house was very well stocked to prepare meals and live. Scituate is a fun area.

Clean, well furnished, with everything you need. The owners go above and beyond. Fabulous view of the ocean from the back porch; quick walk to the lighthouse and easy walk to the local store for a paper or a bite.

My best vacation ever!

The host, property & location could not have been any better! House itself is spectacular - wonderfully clean, super comfortable beds & beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I really look forward to returning

Wonderful stay

Excellent stay in this lovely home. The view is spectacular !!! Great location . Home is well stocked with all that you could possibly need. Bob was a pleasure to deal with! Highly recommend.

Fantastic Oceanfront Home

Great location near Sand Hills beach and lighthouse. Close to main drag with cute shops & restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and the back deck watching the seals. Bob was a great host and communicated with us throughout the stay.

Beautiful

This was a beautiful property right on the water. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Perfect for a beach get away. Will be booking in the future.

What an amazing stay! As we walked through front door we were welcomed with a generous gift basket followed by stunning views of the ocean. Two seals popped up to say hi! The house was so cozy. Excellent space for our family of 6. Comfortable seats/beds. Once settled in took a short walk to the historic lighthouse down the road. Look forward to staying again. A complete gem.

This property and its hosts are both extraordinary. The home has anything you might need and the location can’t be beat. The hosts are so welcoming and responsive and make you feel they are so happy to have you visit.

Family wedding

Our daughter got married in situate at the Barker House and having this rental in Scituate on the ocean was wonderful. Perfect setting for a perfect wedding.

wonderful ocean getaway

Beautiful location right on the ocean. The house is updated and in pristine condition. It has room air conditioners and fans; kitchen and baths well supplied. The owners are very helpful--needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our family! Scituate is a cute little town and about an hour train ride into Boston. The house was clean and well stocked. The kids loved being on the ocean, climbing the rocks/exploring, and the hot tub (and of course the treats in the welcome basket :) Bob was great at communicating. Thanks for a great stay!
