Fantastic location and great for groups

The location could not have been better! Fabulous views and could hear the ocean while we slept. It’s a great house for a group although note not fence between the ocean and the property so had to really keep an eye on quick “runner” of a toddler! A few things to note - there are some basic supplies left over from previous guests but no oil, glad wrap, foil etc which is a bit frustrating when you’re only staying for a few nights. For the price it’d be nice if a few more “basics” were provided like tea and coffee, oil, foil etc and body wash. Overall though a brilliant stay and the owner very kindly gave us a late check out which was very kind! Would definitely stay again.

We provide a fully equipped kitchen but as different folks have different tastes and requirements, we ask our guests to bring all their own perishables and consumables Our focus its to ensure that our guests have a great time in fantastic house.

Amazing

What a amazing place and location. The house has everything and the location is the best on the whole of the south coast. We loved every minute of our holiday. Huge thanks to Michael for answering every question so quickly and providing some amazing recommendation and tips. We will be definitely visiting again

Amazing property

Great property with plenty of space and an amazing location! Mike was extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do so again in the future!

Beautiful place to relax from the busy life

Perfect location , house was clean And tidy , ocean view was the best . Good place to spent time with family or friends . Mike (host) was very cooperative and made our stay more comfortable.

Callala Beach house

The position of the house is lovely with direct access to the beach. The house itself is comfortable but could do with some maintenance - beds are on the short side, and the outdoor furniture needs cleaning. Some wood for the heater would have been a nice addition, as well as fresh milk/bread in the fridge. But overall a very enjoyable stay.

I am really pleased you had a great week. Our beds are top quality hotel beds with the best quality luxury mattresses. They are normal sized queen and single mattresses. The beds are all normal Australian standard lengths for Australian folks. We continually upgrade, update and maintain Watesredge. Being absolute waterfront, we get a lot of salt spray and sand with windy and stormy days. Watersedge is a fantastic house for a fabulous holiday. We pride ourselves that most of our guests are folks who a have stayed at Watesredge many times or who have been recommended by our previous guests. I hope we can welcome you back soon

Amazing find!

What a find! A few friends and I wanted a break from Sydney to get away from the busy work lives that have been made worse due to Covid and we definitely found the spot to relax. The property is spacious, has all the creature comforts, beautifully maintained, a stones throw from the beach with million dollar views of the ocean (we were greeted by dolphins on the first evening itself). Mike (owner) was professional, friendly, thorough with details (lots of it) and was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after our stay. He provided us early check in and late check out - which made the stay all the more delightful. I would highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

Exceptional property and outstanding experience

This was one of the best homes we have stayed in on home & away. The house is fantastic and a great space for two families with amazing beach access and views. We sat and watched the dolphins swim by each morning, followed by endless fun on the beach all day then a cosy warm fire at night. The kitchen is well equipped to enjoy home cooked meals and the space is great. Michael the owner’s communication was fantastic from the moment we booked until after we had departed. Exceptional service and we greatly appreciated the late checkout. We will definitely be back. Thanks Michael!

March Family Stay

October weekend

We had an absolute beautiful weekend . The house is beautiful and had everything we could possibly want . Michael was super nice and went well beyond to ensure we enjoy the house. We had someone in a wheelchair and it accommodate well . We ll be back !!

10/10 Beachfront Beauty!

We had an amazing long weekend at Watersedge! We were greeted with epic views from the moment we walked in. The house is spacious with plenty of room for 3 families. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well-stocked. The indoor fireplace kept the house nice and toasty during those chilly winter nights. Linen and blankets are also provided. The kids loved having direct access to the beach and watching the dolphins swim by. The ping-pong table and Foxtel kept them busy when the sun went down. My fave part was the large alfresco dining area. It’s perfect for brekky with a view or winding down to the sound of the waves with a cheeky wine (or three!). Mike is an excellent host - helpful, friendly and down to earth. He answered all of my queries and even provided additional info/suggestions for things to do around the area. Thanks Mike, I’m already planning our next visit!
