Wonderful stay

Idyllic location

My family and I enjoyed our stay at ABC Acres immensely. The gatehouse was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and all the supplies you need. We especially loved walking around the property after dinner and enjoying the natural setting.

Warm hospitality

We loved the property: the house was comfortable, set up well for time with friends, cooking and rejuvenating. We wished we had more time to see the farm and will do so next time!

Perfect Getaway

We had an amazing stay at the Gate House during our trip to Montana. It was super quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed taking walks exploring the property and visiting the farm shop (the honey is delicious). James was a wonderful host and always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We’re looking forward to visiting again in the future!

ABC Acres Retreat

Fabulous find! Clean, modern house with all the amenities. Friendly hosts, James and Tim are very accommodating. The farm tour is a must do! The gatehouse comfortably sleeps 6 people with a fully equipped high end kitchen. The yummy fresh food from the on site store was Delish! Hoping to go back again soon!

Perfect in every way!

The property is of course the star of the show! Beautiful Mountain View. Accommodations were flawless— modern conveniences, yet rustic charm. Our hosts were gracious and very accommodating (we had a last minute schedule change). Highly recommend! While at ABC be sure to check out the farm shop— deliciousness!

Gate House

We had an amazing time at ABC Acres with our two boys (5 and 8). The Gate House looks brand new and was spotless. The farm itself is amazing and the boys loved feeding the goats and chickens and collecting fresh eggs. The owner, Tim, was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the farm and was very catering to us and our boys. Highly recommend staying with Tim on his farm!

A little piece of heaven!

ABC Acres- Gate house-perfect. The house was beautiful, comfortable, well-stocked and the farm offerings of eggs, meats and home-preserved items were fabulous. The hosts Tim and Sarah and wonderful and such a pleasure to spend time with.

Peaceful escape

We came to get a little fishing in on the Bitterroot which is easily accessed by a short walk across the farm. Rain/weather limited our fishing but we were perfectly content to relax in the clean and cozy Gate House. Tim was very helpful in getting us settled in with ease.

Just like home

James was very accommodating and helpful. The house was clean, cozy and we felt right at home. We walked the property on several occasions and even made it down to the river to fish!

A slice of heaven!

The Gatehouse is just beautiful! I highly recommend participating in a farm activity or tour where you’ll find the staff’s passion and joy are palpable. What a neat and special place. I’ll be back to visit again!!

Great stay

James was a wonderful host. We were on a motorcycle trip and having the garage was a bonus for us. Everything was wonderful!

Welcoming hosts in an awesome spot

James and the crew at ABC acres was amazing. We had several out of town guests staying at the farm for our summer wedding. Throughout the stay James was helpful, extremely responsive, flexible and accommodating. Definitely went above and beyond--from helping some of our guests with delivery of a package to arranging activities on the farm for them. Everyone had a great time and had the best things to say about their Montana experience!

perfect place to stop over

We enjoyed a great night at the main house with our kids. The house is great, the views off of the patio are stunning and the kids have a great play ground just steps away. Highly recommend.

ABC Acres was the the right place. Our kids loved playing around the farm everything is very well maintained and oderley. The house was spotless James you guys do a great job don't change a thing!

Tranquil Setting

The Gate House was the perfect place for my client to stay and for us to meet. The views are beautiful and the location near the river ideal for big picture thinking. We picked up lunch in town and enjoyed it on site. James was very attentive to the needs of my guest. I highly recommend.

The perfect Montana Getaway!

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ABC Acres. The Gatehouse is stellar. The kitchen is packed with all the equipment you'd need to make meals, store food, and take lunches to the river. The beds are very comfortable, and I love when eco-friendly soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and detergents are utilized (and you don't have to buy/bring your own!). The grounds are fun to explore and made easy by the owners. Our children fed the farm animals and had a grand time. The views are astounding. We walked to the river every day and fished and played on the banks. The town of Hamilton is very close and has fun shops and restaurants. Highly recommend ABC Acres and we hope to return again someday soon. Thank you James and Tim for an experience we'll never forget.

Cozy Comfortable Home

My husband and 2 dogs were in town for a few days and we stayed at ABC Acres. The house was really comfortable and very cozy - with the fireplace, flannel sheets and Christmas lights on the front porch. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, jam, coffee and everything you need to cook your own meals. We purchased some eggs from the farm store and they were delicious. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs! We will definitely be back in the summer so we can further enjoy the farm and all it has to offer. Thank you James and Tim!

Great accommodations!!

Great experience and wonderful hosts who are passionate about their work. We learned a lot about farming and the animals. My 2 year old daughter had a great time wandering the farm. The accommodations were excellent, modern,and clean. I would recommend ABC acres to anyone!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable

Our stay at The Gate House was a delight from arrival to departure. The house is beautiful and has all the comforts needed. We spent a great deal of time relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. The house is a part of the ABC Acres Farm but it is situated in such a way that you have a great deal of privacy. Before arrival we were a little concerned about the lack of air conditioning. However, during our stay outdoor temps were around 90 degrees and the house stayed nice and cool. James, Tim and Sarah were quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. This place is a gem, we will definitely return!
