Host was accessible after hours and property worked exceptionally well for our group. We have stayed at Kiawah for 25 years and this house was a great fit for us.

Great vacation spot!

Great retreat!!

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here for Christmas and we all love it!! Abundantly supplied with everything you need and beautifully appointed! Highly recommend this house!!

Beautiful home

We loved this beautiful home on Johns Island! It was so homey and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It's just a short drive to Beachwater Park and the pool was perfect for those who wanted to hang back. We'll definitely be back!

Labor Day week

The house was very nice and clean. The pool was perfect. There were even some noodles and inflatables. Kitchen was better stocked with cookware than most that we have rented. We were very happy with our experience.

Perfect home

We have been coming to Kiawah for 35 years and this was by far the cleanest, best maintained and comfortable home that we have ever stayed in. It was very obvious that the owners spend alot of time there. I would highly recommend it

Kiawah Marathon Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great experience renting through Akers Ellis. Originally I booked a two bedroom villa in Parkside, close to the Marathon start/finish; however, that rental had issues with the hot water. A representative contacted me and moved me to a beautiful 4 bedroom home, a little over a mile from the start/finish, but they still gave me the option to park in the villa's parking spots for the marathon - great consideration on their part. No major issues at the house. The remote in the living room didn't work, and without it you couldn't operate the TV - but definitely didn't ruin our stay at all. There were a few stains on some furniture throughout the house- but it was more of a family home which is expected with young kids. Because the move was last minute, I'm not sure it was cleaned too recent - it wasn't dirty, but there were a few spots that needed a quick dust/sweep. All in all I was VERY satisfied with my stay and experience with Akers Ellis. Will be using again for next year's marathon and already booked my place for this Easter!

Great Golf Trip Home For Couples

Perfect house for reunion!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With three separate suites, plus a few rooms we did not use, this house was perfect for the 3 couples as we gathered for a reunion. We had plans to go into Charleston but everything was so perfect in kiawah we never left. Kitchen was perfect for cooking a big meal and the couch held all of us to watch the Ryder cup. The pool was refreshing, the ride to beach easy, and we walked to The sanctuary for dinner. Watching the stream of golfers was relaxing. Everything was perfect! Thank you.

Relaxing getaway

This property was better than expected. Beautifully decorated with all of the amenities and a surprise game area downstairs. The area is beautiful via bike, beaches are wide. Everything was wonderful!

Kelchner Retreat

Great location and facility for our annual family get together. 14 Ambler Hall was perfect for us and had everything we needed and then some.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was large enough to hold my family of four. Everyone had a room of their own, which is what my kids wanted. The areas were large enough to spread out, the porch and the pool provided an additional outdoor space. The house was not cleaned as if guests were coming, it needed to be dusted, vacuumed and mopped.

Perfect Vacation home!

Easy ride to beach (5min). Pool and deck were great. Ping pong table and cornhole were awesome. Even had two fishing poles and some lures we fished with. Overall, the best place we have ever stayed on Kiawah! Easy to check in. Clean. Loved having a washer and dryer.

Good overall

The house is great for large groups. We biked to the beach daily and entertained family multiple times during our stay. The kitchen is well equipped other than knives. We had multiple issues during our two week stay, the most bothersome was a pest issue, but the rental agency was responsive. It’s a pretty long walk to the beach. The pool area is much smaller than it looks in the pics. Because of the tree cover the pool is very hard to keep clean. The house lacks a nice outdoor area to hang out. Front porch view is of the street and because of landscape it’s very hard to keep the spiderwebs out there under control. Overall the property was good, but i would not say great and think for this kind of money we will look elsewhere next time.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you staying with us. The home changed ownership at the beginning of the summer and the new owners have made a few upgrades including new paint, new dish washer and refrigerator. Regarding the specific issues you raised, we are pleased to say that the spider issue has been resolved. We are pleased to note that landscaping was performed this fall and has fixed the tree coverage near the pool area. Additionally, the owner has updated the landscaping so that guests can better use the lawn area in the backyard near the golf course if so desired. We hope you were able to enjoy your time on the island despite these issues that have now been addressed. There were a few exterior items such as a lot of debris in and around the pool but this was also only a week post Dorian so we took that into consideration. We also could not figure out the speaker system throughout the house and on the outdoor areas. Overall, a beautiful home and would definitely consider a property there in the future.

Summer week in Kiawah

The property was great! We enjoyed the short (5 minute) bike ride to the beach everyday, and coming home to cool off in the pool. The kitchen was well stocked for anything we wanted to cook, and the beds were all very comfortable. We had a great week at the house!
