This beautiful home will welcome either the solo traveler or families, we are ready for you! Enjoy the deck while you relax by the chimanea, or get into the spa for total relaxation! The house has three bedrooms, and the upstairs room can also has a queen sized bed. There is a very comfortable Murphy bed in the fireplace room. The playroom is great for kids! I recently added an electric fireplace/heater to the master bedroom, so lovely to wake up and look out at the mountain while you are comfy and warm in bed... I love sharing my home with others, I know that you will love it too!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home and location to celebrate a family birthday. There was great communication from the host throughout our stay. The coastal air, scenic deck, quaint rooms, recreation opportunities, personal touches, warm welcome, and an overall family-friendly home, made for an unforgettable time with many sweet memories.

The house is wonderful with a huge deck and gorgeous view of the lake. We had a great time - very relaxing location but still close to shopping and restaurants. The house is clean with lots of activities and games available. There are lots of birds and even saw a bald eagle land while sitting on the deck. The host is wonderful and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay for a family reunion. The view from the dining room and the large deck is incredible. It is also a birdwatchers paradise. The owner had a pair of binoculars and a local bird guide which was a nice touch. We will definitely be back.

Leslie was a fabulous host, along with Emma! The house was spectacular and communication was great! The pictures don't do the home justice! The views from the deck were spectacular! The beds were really comfortable and the house truly was fully equipped. Wonderful stay for my group of friends!

We had a magical time at Leslie’s Lake Home! Our Cal poly friend and family reunion could not have been at a more perfect location central to everything SLO. The best part was the incredible views from the deck of the lake and mountains complete with cattle and horses grazing, where we pretty much spent most of our time relaxing with coffee in the mornings, or watching the glow of the sunset off the lake. Agree with others it’s a birder paradise!

The views are spectacular! The 4-star rating was for a couple omissions I missed in the listing. First, there is no A/C, which from my understanding now is common in this area. You are reliant on cross-ventilation from the windows, which was non-existent in a couple of the rooms. Secondly, the fireplace “room” really isn’t a room, but more of a den open to the kitchen. Finally, the bed upstairs has a taco mattress. Thankfully, one of our guests was unable to come of we would have been up a creek. All in all, we had a lovely stay. My 89-year old Dad loved listening to the geese each morning. I just wish we had known some of these things in advance. Now you do.

I am sorry that you did not have an opportunity to look at the information about the house before you rented it. It is stated clearly that I do not have AC. I have tried to be clear about the 5th bed not being in a bedroom. VRBO automatically calls every room with a bed a “bedroom.”

We had a great stay. We chose the place due to the close proximity of the wedding we attended. The roomy and comfortable home was a plus and the view from the spacious back deck was spectacular! Beautiful and peaceful mornings enjoying that view while relaxing with coffee and breakfast was amazing. We will definitely book this place again. Thank you!

Staying on the lake was magical! We spent most of our time just relaxing on the deck. Ate in for breakfast and dinner. Kitchen great for cooking! Dining room perfect for 8-10 folks. 5 separate sleeping areas - all good beds. Parking in driveway for 3 and street 1-2 more. Leslie reached out to us that week to set up the arrival. All smooth and easy. Ping pong in the garage was well fun too.

4th of july get away

The house was very inviting and comfortable, the view on the patio was amazing, my family enjoyed are little get away, we would most definitely recommend this house to friends and family.

Overall we enjoyed staying at this lovely property on the lake. Lots of space for 5 couples, double beds. Some rugs not so clean. Otherwise had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay there.

This home was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Leslie was gracious and accommodating. She answered my questions about the kitchen equipment right away. The deck is stunning. We spend hours enjoying the views of the hills and the wildlife. We'll book this house again for our next trip to SLO!

The communication was good and Leslie allowed us to check in early due to us flying from out of state a few hours early. I was unaware this was Leslie’s personal home until day of when she was giving us the tour. We had 9 guests total in the home for three nights. During the course of our stay, we were advised not to utilize different settings on the hot tub, and were advised if there was additional trash that there would be a trash fee (which is totally understandable). During our stay, Leslie had returned a couple times, which at one point she had texted me while we were out getting lunch, so I had to return to the residence before a requested time to set whatever desired item outside. After our stay, Leslie called me and angrily asked what she’s “supposed to do” with the luggage that was being thrown away (due to bag breaking from airline), that was set next to the trash can. The trash can provided outside was very small and would not be able to hold the luggage, I assumed after she let me know there would be an extra fee for trash, that it could be thrown away aswell. I was very caught off guard by how angry she sounded over the phone about this. Additionally, while understanding this is her personal home, I was also advised she had a cleaning lady. During our stay, there several Cobb webs, the fridge was not sanitary and there were several of what appeared to be dirty clothing left unattended in the master bedroom. Leslie was adamant on the phone that I will be charged.

Yes, I did change my cleaners schedule for you, and then you showed up over an hour earlier than scheduled with no communication, the cleaning lady was still here. I rushed around to finish packing and one pair of underpants, right out of the dryer, apparently fell out of my suitcase onto the floor. Had you called me, as I said to do if you had any issues, I would have been happy to explain. And due to the rush necessitated by your unexpected arrival, I did forget two things. One I remembered and turned around before I was one block away, the other I texted and asked if it would be possible for you to leave the item outside so that I would not bother you. You said it was not a problem. You never warned me when you left about what I would be walking into. The garage was so cluttered that I could not pull in, vomit in the master bedroom so bad that I had to have the carpet cleaned, not to Mention the vomit in the hall from the bedding. Broken items, so much trash that I had to have someone come and haul it away - and not one word from you. I have never had such guests, sadly.
