This is a traveler's haven

This beautiful home will welcome either the solo traveler or families, we are ready for you! Enjoy the deck while you relax by the chimanea, or get into the spa for total relaxation! The house has three bedrooms, and the upstairs room can also has a queen sized bed. There is a very comfortable Murphy bed in the fireplace room. The playroom is great for kids! I recently added an electric fireplace/heater to the master bedroom, so lovely to wake up and look out at the mountain while you are comfy and warm in bed... I love sharing my home with others, I know that you will love it too!

Overall we enjoyed staying at this lovely property on the lake. Lots of space for 5 couples, double beds. Some rugs not so clean. Otherwise had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay there.

A lovely stay

We had a nice stay at Leslie’s home. She was very thoughtful and accommodating for my family. My kids liked the playroom especially.

Great Location

Nice house. Owner met on arrival for quick walk-through. Very gracious and welcoming. Peaceful setting in back yard. Easy to get to from highway.

Escape to SLO!

Leslie is a lovely hostess who shares her home full of family memorabilia with guests. Great location! The back deck is so incredibly relaxing. Additionally, The breakfast treats are a wonderful touch.

Great Location & Close to Everything You Need

The back deck looking over the water is a great view! The house had everything we needed for a great weekend. It is less than a mile to food spots and any groceries needed. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting SLO!

Wonderful, relaxing rental!

We were a party of 6 with two teenagers and folks from out of state. The location of the home is breathtaking and incredibly relaxing. The layout is ideal for groups and the property is not far from the downtown area. We would definitely rent again and Leslie is a fantastic, thoughtful host!

SLO Lakeside

We stayed due to overflow at a family home during a Celebration of Life! This stay was a blessing in many ways! There were many similarities to the family home which were welcoming and comforting. A 32 year neighbor of my parents (family home) coincidentally knew Leslie, our host and described her as a “great woman.” The house was lovely and clean. It was wonderful viewing the look from the other end!

Just what we wanted!

Leslie’s SLO Lakeside Lodge was a big hit with my family, even better than we expected. Leslie thoughtfully provided us with some nice gifts for our arrival, and everything was clean and well laid out. The view was as lovely as it is in her pictures, the hot tub was terrific and accessible, and even the weather cooperated mostly. Location was very good, close to rock climbing, which we appreciated, and very close to restaurants and shopping. But still felt like a neighborhood. Wonderful lake with hiking trails

A beautiful, comfortable place on the lake

Our family and friends spent a few days here as we celebrated my mother's funeral service and celebration of life. The setting was lovely and peaceful. The house was comfortable, clean and well set up for several of us to sleep well. Leslie, our host, was kind, helpful and very caring. We were able to host a small luncheon after the services and it went very well. Thank you Leslie for the use of your lovely home!

Nice house with a great view in SLO

The house is perfect for family gatherings for our 25th anniversary. The house is very clean and spacious. We never get bored with the view from the back patio. The view is changing from time to time because of the fog that keeps moving. Theowner is very nice and accomodating. She also gave us local bread and jam for breakfast. Thank you, Leslie.

Wonderful home!

We came for a small family wedding and 10 of us stayed at Leslie’s home. It met our needs perfectly- we had little children, and the upstairs play space was PERFECT! In fact after we left the kids said they wanted to go back! The place was clean and well appointed. She gifted us a bottle of Spanish wine - which we shared with bride and groom, and some locally roasted coffee! The deck and hot tub were great, and view was absolutely stunning! Peace and quiet! It is a family’s perfect place! So very grateful we found this place!

Beautiful View

You cannot beat the view from this house. It's just like the picture. Absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. This is definitely a lived in house and does not have a neutral feel, which made us feel a little weird staying there - like we were intruding in someone's home if that makes sense. Other than that, no complaints. Again - that view is just the best.

Property with gorgeous view.

Leslie is a very nice and accommodating host. She gave us a tour of the house when we arrived. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. We were a family group of nine adults and had plenty of sleeping space, but there were only two bathrooms which was a bit tricky with nine adults. The house is her primary residence, so it is heavily decorated with family photos and keepsakes, and the counters are occupied with her belongings. The deck and its view is the best part of the house. It's gorgeous!

Comfy home and the back patio is sublime

Leslie's place is a great respite. My three friends and I had a wonderful weekend. The house has a great location and is comfortable. It's a short drive to Montana De Oro, Morro Bay, Jocko's, and SLO. The most amazing thing about Leslie's place, is the back patio. The view of Laguna Lake and its residents is hard to describe, it's so relaxing, beautiful, and, well, just sublime. Leslie herself is a charming person and a good communicator - any issues and she will respond asap. By the way, we had no kids with us but the upstairs kid's lair is amazing.

Great View

Stayed here for a college reunion/birthday celebration and had a great time! Leslie was a very responsive and attentive host. The location was very convenient as it was a short drive to downtown SLO, and the view of the lake was amazing from the back deck. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the inability to enjoy the deck at night in the hot tub or use the fire pit due to the proximity of the neighbors and how easily they were disturbed by any noise. Overall, had a great stay in this property with enough beds, but would have liked to spend more time enjoying the back deck after a long day of activities out and about in SLO! Other than that, everything was great. Leslie was an amazing host and I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy SLO with a larger group!

Leslie’s home is a happy home. The home is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Smiling photos of Leslie’s family adorn the walls. The home has such a positive vibe that you can’t help but absorb the good energy of the place. Our family of eight enjoyed the lake view and all of the comfort and amenities of the house. It is a quiet neighborhood from which we explored Avila Beach and the town of SLO. Our main reason to visit was for a family wedding in Edna. The house was perfect and convenient for this purpose. Morning coffee on the deck while bird watching and chatting was our favorite activity. This is Leslie’s happy place which makes you want to take extra care in keeping it lovely.

Wonderful SLO Stay

The back deck steals the show! The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Outside is where we spent most of our time, though. 70 degrees in July (some of us came from Alabama) and a wide variety of birds to watch and identify. I definitely recommend you consider this home for your next visit to SLO.
