Stay Social provides unique home-style short and medium-term accommodation in central Bendigo for travellers and business people alike. Stay Social is warm and welcoming, easily accessible, great value, fun and highly environmentally & socially responsible.

BOOKING NOTE: You book the number of bedrooms depending on Guests paid for and other bedrooms may be booked by other external guests if you have not paid for the whole property. If you wish to book the whole property but have less than 9 people then simply select 9 guests. If you have 10, 11 or 12 guests you must select the correct number.
- 6 or 7 guests = 4 bedrooms
- 8 guests = 5 bedrooms
- 9 or more guests = all 7 bedrooms

Guests have exclusive use of their bedroom living spaces and share other facilities including full kitchen and laundry with new friends, future business partners, great contacts, and maybe even soul mates that they are about to meet! Most bedrooms have a queen bed and some twin beds as well as other facilities - various options exist.

Offering a built in outdoor kitchen barbecue and views of the garden, a 55” flat-screen TV, blu-ray and DVD player are located in The Sunroom. A balcony or patio are adjacent to some rooms and there is a wonderful outdoor living area. Some rooms have private bathroom and other access multiple shared facilities. Stay Social features free WiFi throughout the property.

Free use of bicycles is available at this guest house and the area is popular for cycling. The property features local Central Victorian art and many upcycled features. Stay Social creates the space for ideas and connections to be created.

Stay Social in Bendigo is great for individuals, couples and groups of all kinds - sporting, family reunions, birthdays, wedding bridal party and guests, acting and musical groups and so many more.

Perfect place for a family gathering

What a great place for our family to get together. Plenty of space, clean and a very well equipped kitchen. Close to central Bendigo but still very quiet. Plenty of parking. Loved the chooks! We hope to come back one day.

Accommodated 9 of US together!

WONDERFUL! The cottage was close to the town, clean and welcoming, lovely open living with fully equipped kitchen and family room with games, netflix and tourist information. Nice bedrooms with ensuites or located closeby. Bedrooms with spacious wardrobes and most comfortable beds. Lovely garden where sweet little birds visit. BBQ and comfortably sit outside shaded by umbrellas or easy access to sunroom and play room for kids. We even had fresh eggs from the chooks on arrival. Host very friendly and helpful. Very affordable accommodation and highly recommended for larger groups up to 12 people. We shall certainly come and stay again.

What a delightful place to stay

My family were in Bendigo for a family birthday. This delightful house afforded us with the opportunity to be together but not on top of one another. Convenient distance to shops and movies. The place was very clean and beautifully presented

Okay stay for group of 9 adults.

Our stay was full of surprises which made it less than expected. No TV inside the house. To watch the TV in the outdoor shed it was not inviting. Having to go out in the cold to watch the evening news was crazy. Also cramped if more than 4 people in there. The door to the shed room kept jamming and difficult to open / close.The kids playhouse building terrible, missing windows, dirty and not usable. The back garden in need of a good tidy up, broken kids toy, no chocks. No clothes dryer. The study room being used as a storage area by the owner. Automatic lights and fans in the 6 bathrooms / toilets very annoying at night.

Great for large group

Nine members of my book club went away for a weekend. The house was great for what we needed: plenty of quiet bedrooms and great kitchen. Common areas were comfortable; location was quiet but also just a walk from the shops. We had a lovely weekend and would return.

Fantastic Bendigo Accommodation

Fantastic property for large groups. We stayed for a family wedding in Bendigo and it was perfect. Great location on a quiet street. The house was clean and had everything you could want for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of bathrooms/toilets for all guests.

Bendigo Friends Trip

Couldn't have picked a more convenient place. It was very close to the city centre but was situated in a nice quiet area. The house had plenty of room for everyone to hang out and eat together, but also had ample space for when people required their own time. We really enjoyed this stay!

Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms/ bathrooms clean. No tv in the house was disappointing, but during the Xmas period we were happy outside. Would definitely go back.

Family Christmas

It’s brilliant for a family. I got excited when the website said a ‘hot tub’ which in fact was a shower over the spa bath. Three blinds in bedroom windows need fixing - one wouldn’t come down, two wouldn’t go up, so no light came into the bedroom. Because the house lends itself to being shared by strangers, having the TV in an outside sitting room is a great idea. Amazing amount of kitchen supplies and two fridges. I would thoroughly recommend a family utilising this property. The access and bedroom for someone with a disability is excellent.

Chris is a civil engineer and project manager for EcoSuccess Project Management consulting services. Chris is an amazing contributor to many local community organisations including the Golden Square CFA; the Bendigo Community Farmer’s Market and the Bendigo Sustainability Group.

Karen is the founder of Make a Change Australia, a not for profit community development and engagement organisation that supports changemakers in their quest to make a difference. Karen was the Melbourne Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2012 and a finalist in the Victorian Rural Women’s Awards in 2014.
