Great weekend.

House was perfect for a weekend of skiing. You’re able to walk to the resort from the house which was a huge plus since it was a packed weekend. Overall great stay!

Great place! Gorgeous views! Fun hot tub!

We had a great time! The accommodations were very clean, comfortable and efficient - it had everything we needed. Mike, the host, was completely accessible.,The views were gorgeous and the hot tub was clean and delightful. We highly recommend this sweet spot!

Great weekend getaway

My wife and I spent a weekend away for our anniversary. We highly recommend staying here. Great location .4 miles from the Wintergreen main lodge. Property is clean and well set up. The hot tub is great to have a few steps from the door. Great local breweries and wineries close by.

Absolutely Gorgeous

My husband and I were looking for a place to disconnect and get back to us. This was the perfect place. It was very quiet and relaxing. We plan on hoing back again in a month or so. We were also able to meet up with a local that helped taxi us to Bold Rock.

Great weekend getaway

Everything was as listed and communication with the owner was easy. The weather was great as it was 85 degrees at the bottom of the mountain and 72 degrees at the top! We will be back.

Nice but tight

Cleanliness of was great Description of location was a bit misleading, it was an apartment/in-law suite under a house. Not horrible but could hear the owners walking around and dog barking. Location was great to everything in Wintergreen. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Overall very nice place

Nice but could be better

First off, I hate leaving anything less then a 5star review, but had I seen this review I’d choose another location so I want to be honest. The host is easy to deal with, place was clean (vacuumed, wiped down, etc) but there is a definite musky smell that wafts from the carpets I’m guessing. Sort of a basement mildew smell. It bugged my wife and kids more than me, but I noticed it also. The hot tub was not overly dirty, but could use a water change and felt like had too much chlorine in it to cover up that fact. Kind of a bummer because we really looked forward to that. The pac man machine doesn’t work (kids bummed). And the power went out a couple times and we couldn’t get to the breaker box, so we spent one night unplugged because couldn’t get through to owner. Not a overall bad experience, but not really much better then a hotel I’d say. I think I wouldn’t recommend this place, I’ve had better experiences with others.

Great spot tucked right on the mountain. Extremely close to Wintergreen Resort. My family had a wonderful time relaxing and skiing!

Mini getaway in the mountains

We had a great stay- the place was clean and cozy. It was the perfect size for a family of four. Mike also made sure that the outside area was safe for us to walk around during an icestorm.

Turkey Day Vacay

Had such a fabulous time with the family out in Wintergreen! Place was larger than expected and the accommodations were fantastic!! Hosts did a fantastic job communicating and laying everything out to the check in and out process. Would 10000% recommend.

Great location for a spring getaway

This was our first time at Wintergreen when there wasn’t snow and place really helped highlight the things to do in the area, while also being that comfy place to come back to. Mike’s apartment is very well maintained, had a hot tub and wine fridge for the adults, and a great view. I loved the cute kitchen. It was very close to Wintergreen Resort, access to hiking trails, and there were a ton of brochures and maps to give ideas for daily trips.

Spring break getaway

We rented this condo for a little spring break getaway. It has everything you need, plus more. It is located at the bottom on a beautiful house that overlooks the mountains. The best part was the jacuzzi, my kids loved it! Owner is very responsive and accommodating, even when we had to check out early due to a family emergency. It is dog friendly, our little puppy enjoyed it. The pac man machine was not working, bummer, but we were informed of this prior to arrival. The only con was we could not get the front door to lock. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.

The place was so cozy and very close to the main lodge and mountain.

What a sweet place. Mike couldn’t have been easier to work with, to checking in to checking out. I am a chef and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was so cozy and he is a very thoughtful owner! He had all the touches!! We can’t wait to come back! I would highly recommend this to my friends & family! Thank you for such a great experience!!

Cozy getaway

We had some bad winter weather during our stay and Mike was flexible with our request for a later checkout to allow the roads to clear. Cozy 2 bedroom place that is located in his basement. Easy access from a walkway that leads you to the side of his house to the entry door. Place was clean and accommodated our needs. Hot tub was a plus! Also it isn’t too far (5 min drive) from the main entrance to the Wintergreen resort.
