Weekend on the Lake

A group of us (3 families) went away for the weekend to Adrift and had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful and the views stunning. It was picture postcard perfect. We've all decided to do it again and stay for longer next time.

Gorgeous property

All 3 generations enjoyed our break. However, the neighbourhood was too quiet for some and the kayaks we were looking forward to were not easily available.

Lake Macquarie Adrift

Great house on the lake, attractive decor, plenty of room, ideal for teens, very comfortable beds and the ping pong table was a savour in the rain!! Only suggestion some more kitchen cutting knives and salad bowls. A very nice rental and good local shops.

Adrift stay

The house was lovely and kitchen well equipped but unfortunately the sheets on the bed were stained, there were not enough towels provided for number of guests nor enough toilet paper so we had to purchase our own.

Respuesta de VrboOwner, el 20 jul. 2023
Thanks for your review Melissa. We have since taken a look at the set of sheets that was marked and replaced the sheet. As per most holiday homes, we leave out a welcome supply of toilet paper as well as a spare roll or 2 in the cabinet. With the towels, we provide 1 towel per guest and encourage our guests the use the laundry facilities if needed. We apologise about any inconvenience caused.

Clean and big property

We stayed in Adrift and it was great. There was so much room for all of us. However i would like to give some constructive feedback which can lead to some improvements for the future guests. The lounges in the living room and home theatre room needs replacement as its too low and worn out. Apart from that there were no whisky glasses in the kitchen. Having said these, overall the property was really good and we all enjoyed a lot.

A wonderful house in a great location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful week at Adrift over Christmas 2022. The house was perfect for 3 generations and comfortably accommodated 11 people with multiple spacious living areas for us all to come together as well as enjoy some down time. The house was stylish and well equiped and the lawn down to the shared jetty was fabulous for water activities and games. We found the property agent friendly and responsive to any queries during our stay. We hope we will be back again. Thank you!

A wonderful place for a getaway with good friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos gave us a very good idea of how great Adrift would be for our yearly getaway with friends. But nothing really prepares you for the beautiful views as you open the door. And then you explore and discover the fabulous design and layout of this house. A very comfortable place for eight friends to enjoy, with good size bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, quality linen and a separate bathroom for each couple. There is a coffee shop nearby, and a small grocery shop and a restaurant. Many beautiful beaches are nearby to explore, with some lovely bushwalks too. Heritage Real Estate keep you updated after the initial booking, and their instructions were detailed and simple to follow. With thanks to the owners for making this property available for others to enjoy.

Amazing Waterfront Holiday House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I am very happy with this Adrift holiday house after 4 days and 3 nights stayed there with my family and friends. What i love most about this house is that the lower house is on flat level with the jetty and water which encouraged you to join in with whatever activities your family or friends were participating or at least come out to observe them, secondly the house is so spacious with many rooms and bathrooms for your convenience wherever you are in the house. We had so much fun with the ping pong table where kids can be occupied for as long as you allowed them. The house is also well equipped with smart tv for your night time entertainment, basically I loved everything that belongs to this house not to mention it’s surrounded by beautiful nature
