Saltwater is the perfect get-away on the beautiful beaches of St. George Island, Florida. Centrally located, Saltwater is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, playgrounds and the island hike/bike trails. Bruce State Park, with its nine miles of pristine natural beaches, is only a short ride from your beach get-away. An excellent location & delightful interior make this home a perfect choice for your vacation. Features two bedrooms on the first level. The first is a master suite with jetted tub & a King Bed that overlooks the Gulf. The second is a well appointed bedroom with another king bed and an on-suite bathroom. The third bedroom is an open 12 ft. high children’s loft with 2 sets of trundle beds. The living room also has a queen size sleeper sofa. Multiple TVs/BluRay DVDs, stereo & WiFi. Outdoor amenities include a private boardwalk to the beach, an outdoor shower to rinse off a day of fun in the sand, a park-style grill for fun family cookouts , and two spacious balconies overlooking the Gulf.This house is dog friendly and very child friendly (Pack-n-play, Highchair, ). Park your car and rent bikes or a golf cart to travel around the island. Owner is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Georgia

Lovely beach stay!

The property was even nicer, cleaner, and more modern than expected from the pictures. This was a lovely beachfront location. So beautifully decorated! We would be happy to stay here again! My only suggestion would be more check-in instructions on how to use the lock.

Perfect spot!

We loved our stay at Saltwater. The easy access to the beach and all the shops and restaurants was wonderful. The home had everything we needed. We would return to this home in a heartbeat. It’s the perfect spot on SGI!

Excellent location

The views were fantastic, our son loved the loft, and everything was within walking distance. We absolutely loved the island and can’t wait to go back again to St. George Island. Our host was very responsive to any questions or requests. Highly recommend staying at Saltwater.

House did not look like picture

We came in at night and it was no light over house number and the house pictured was white with red door but it had been painted and was yellow with white door. There were dirty dishes still in the dish washer from previous renter. The interior was otherwise clean. Needs some renovations to the interior.

Great, Cute Beach House

The house was clean, comfortable and cute. The location is perfect and within walking distance of most restaurants on SGI. Would def recommend and stay here again.

Very clean and quiet. Amazing views of beach. We even saw dolphins jumping in the ocean from the balcony.

This was our 4th stay at Saltwater. The location is absolutely perfect! You can walk everywhere and it’s dog friendly! The listing is exactly as it is in-person. Can’t wait to go back!

Not quite as expected

Outside hose broke and barely able to use.Grill not useable.Furniture definitely needs updating for what you pay.Loved location.The other thing is there we’re things piled around outside.

Wonderful house

This is a wonderful house to stay in. We have now rented it two years in a row and have enjoyed both our stays. We are a family of 8 and it was big enough to accommodate all of us. Just a few short steps from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Location! Location! Location!

This beach house is in the most convenient location. Park your car and never drive anywhere for your entire vacation! Beach access from the back porch to the private beach access. Sit on the porch and watch the sunrise and dolphins swim in the ocean!

Absolutely gorgeous

We had an amazing experience here. I can say the property manager has thought of everything to make your vacation experience amazing. The only issue I have and it's nothing to do with the property. If you go walking the beach at night it's very hard to tell the houses apart. During the season of course you have to cut lights off for the turtles. With everyone doing this it makes it hard to find your home. Lol we made a game of it. It was still a beautiful space and the beach was amazing. Highly recommend this property.

We want to come back it was soooo nice and the location is perfect! The little bit of yard or garden area behind the parking area is overgrown and rough on the shins. Walking between the condos was a challenge as well and downed palm tree leaves ripped my ankle open to bleed. The boards need replaced on outer decking and the screws were exposed and cut my grandsons foot open too. If the outside area got as much attention as the inside it would have been much nicer! Oh and the carpet is stained badly in one bedroom.

The island of St George is absolutely gorgeous, the location of the house is perfect, however, the house itself is in need of maintenance, for example, the upstairs a/c unit was NOT working and was 80 degrees. When host was informed by us, she replied that a part was on order, but never informed us before hand that it was not working! I think the worst part that ruined my stay was the smell of dirty dog in the house (and we have a dog), carpeting definitely should be replaced or at the very least, cleaned. Absolutely filthy! Will definitely return to St George, but not this particular house.

Disappointed...

The rental seen above is not the one we actually stayed in. We were asked to change at the last minute - I am not sure of the VRBO#. Although I feel that the unit was basically clean, the carpet was in desperate need of cleaning or replacing. There were so many “decorations” sitting around that there was little room for our things. Furnishing appeared old and mismatched - TV table top a piece of raw wood. The owner was quick to get the bathtub unclogged and replace the vacuum cleaner, but other repairs were not made while we were there. I feel that I resented being moved from my original booking to convenience others and this overshadowed the rest of my experience. The other unit has to have been in better shape than this one...

Great week at the beach!

Nice, clean home in a great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Beautiful view of the gulf from the porches. Neighbors are very close but was not an issue. Weather was perfect every day we were there. Layout of home was very accommodating for 2 couples allowing for privacy when needed.
