Join us on beautiful Saint George Island for healthy, fresh, salt air! Beach Paradise, updated after Hurricane Michael, is located within the St George Plantation features an open great room separating 2 bedrooms and a shared bath on each wing, making it perfect for two families vacationing together! Two large sliding glass doors feature expansive Gulf views and provide access to the large sundeck, perfect to lounge on to catch up on your reading with that needed ray of sunshine!

The two beachfront bedrooms have king beds and picture window views of the Gulf. One other bedroom has a king bed while the fourth bedroom has a queen bed. The sofa in the den will sleep two. All bedrooms have flat panel TVs with cable service and Netflix with your own account, and free wifi capable of streaming multiple devices.

Downstairs, a private boardwalk to the beach gives easy access to playing on the white sandy beaches of St. George Island, shore fishing for the days catch or a relaxing evening walk on the beach to watch the day's sunset (many of which are just spectacular!). There is a private outdoor shower for a quick cleanup after a day on the beach. A fish cleaning sink with running water to clean the catch of the day. Several beach chairs and a beach umbrella are supplied.

Beach Paradise is in the gated community of St. George Plantation. "The Plantation" has two olympic sized swimming pools, tennis/pickle ball courts and a fitness center. Paved bike paths stretch from one end of the island all the way to Dr. Julian G Bruce State Park - approximately 10 miles from end to end. It is about three blocks/.5 miles to the Plantation Clubhouse.

The "cable service" is via the YouTube TV app on the GoogleTV streaming device. The basic channels should be available with over 100 channels. Every TV should have the dongle attached to an HDMI port.

Please note that motorcycles and golf carts are not allowed in The Plantation when driven by rental guests.

The beach house is just as advertised. It's a great spot for a quiet beach vacation and is pet friendly. We had a great time and there were no issues. The host was easy to communicate with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location could not have been better (the plantation is a beautiful gated resort, nice pools and very secure) also the access to the beach was phenomenal! The sleeping arrangements worked out very well for our family and we loved how the property was laid out. The storage room below was well stocked with beach chairs/toys etc. nicely stocked kitchen as well. I will say some things were a little dated on the inside and you must be very careful on the stairs and decking outside, they are very weathered and if not careful can easily get a splinter. We made sure to wear shoes anytime we were on it. Overall we loved this house and would 100% stay here again given the opportunity!

Well there is a lot to mention here. Was it beachfront, pet friendly, reasonable price? Yes, yes and yes. Is it an older house in a very harsh environment? It was clean and the appliances and bedding seem to have been updated. Paint is peeling off the wall and the decking is in bad shape. Our family enjoyed our time but do not expect luxurious.

Incredible! Definitely returning next year! Home was clean, the view was incredible. Buck (owner) was super nice and quickly responded to all of my questions. This is a true beachfront property and you literally walk straight out of the house to the beach. Exceeded my expectations. Loved the outside shower that also had warm water, very handy. Plenty of beach chairs for everyone. There were umbrellas but most are broke, I imagine they were just left behind from previous guests. We were able to use one of them and it was fine. Also, when you come in from the beach there's plenty of room to leave all of your stuff underneath the house near the shower area. The storage room also had some fishing gear, a grill and some misc toys and floats and an air blower for floats.I have an older lab and she could easily walk up and down the stairs with no problem. Felt completely safe in this community. It's quiet, private, all the things we were hoping for yet there were plenty of options for my young adult kids to do like the lap pools, pickle ball, bike riding, etc. Oh and also, the dolphins put on a spectacular show for us!I just have a few suggestions - I think the coffee pot needs replacing - we're big coffee drinkers in the family and brewing a whole 12 cup pot took about 40 minutes (no exaggeration lol). The preset option helped with that so we made it work. And also, I think a wide push broom would be wonderful to have to help clean up the sand throughout the week.

Wonderful getaway

A great family getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you would need to feel at home. Liked that beach chairs and umbrellas were even provided. It was great walking from the house directly to an almost private beach. We loved hunting for shells!

Wonderful beach house

Great house right on the beach! Fantastic property with comfy beds and couches, nice washer and dryer and huge TV. Buck is so easy to work with and has added touches to the property that made us feel welcomed and right at home— laundry detergent, dish detergent, nice chargers next to each bed, beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Would definitely rent here again!

Family Vacation

We loved this property. Steps from the beach and large deck for stargazing. Kitchen was very well stocked. Sea turtles nested on both sides of the house. It was an awesome vacation. Looking forward to staying at this property again.

Relaxion on the Plantation

Our 6th vacation to St. George Island. This was definitely a perfect location on the Plantation, ever so quiet and exceptionally clean! We even brought our little dog. Buck was very responsive and truly a wonderful host. Such a restful, peaceful vacation...we will be back!

Wonderful stay!

This house is perfectly situated on the beach and our family of 4 had a lovely time relaxing at SGI! We loved watching the dolphins, and our kids play, right from the porch! It was a short, pretty ride to the pool. Great location in the plantation. We had a great week! Thank you for hosting us!

Year 2 at Gulfside

We stayed here last year as well and again we were satisfied with the property and location. We had the opportunity to do some more exploring of the Plantation area and with the home being centrally located within the community it allowed us to take off in any direction. You can’t beat the privacy and the Gulf being pretty much in your backyard!

50th anniversary celebration

Relaxing! Extremely well stocked kitchen accessories, lots of board games, puzzles, beach chairs and toys, grill, two bikes! Our family of 9 ranged in age from 8 to 72 and everyone enjoyed their time here.
