Beautiful getaway, quiet and very peaceful. Friendly kookaburras come to say hello every afternoon. Swan Lake beach area is an easy 5 minute walk. Very enjoyable and Sharon is great to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful, quite and peaceful! The garden was a piece of heaven! The host were very friendly and helpful! 100% recommended!

Shazza’s Retreat

Lovely house surrounded by beautiful native gardens, plenty of kookaburras and parrots visiting the garden. Quick walk to a lovely little beach. Conveniently close to friends and pet friendly too!

A charming house nestled in nature, just minutes drive from two beautiful beaches. In the evenings, step outside for a chance to spot and pose with kangaroos!

Returning for another stay

I said it last time and I'll say it again. When you open the fence to this property, it's like you have stepped into your private sanctuary. We only left for a coffee and a walk by the beautiful river, but could not wait to get back to the house. It's very comfy, has everything you need. We definitely recommend this property and the owner is always so welcoming.

Unfortunately not close to beach and shops. Road from highway to accommodation was in terrible condition. Potholes big enough to swallow a car. No complaints about the rental house and garden, excellent

A little slice of paradise

Shazza's Retreat is a little slice of perfection in a gorgeous area. The house is lovely, backing onto beautiful bushland. We spent most of our time out the back under the amazing pergola - breakfasting with the abundant birdlife, dining in the evening with (again) the sounds of the birds. We walked along the trails behind and near the house. Our dogs loved it too and in all it was perfection. This was our second visit and won't be our last. We were made to feel so welcome by the owner with a personalised message. Loved it!

Peace and quiet

Sharon answered all my questions so fast and when we arrived the house had everything we needed and a bit more! It was in a lovely quiet location not far from Swan Lake and the house was comfortable and inviting as well as very clean and tidy. Sharon also made sure there was information about what activities there were to do in the area. We really enjoyed our time on the back deck overlooking the bush and wildlife 🦜🦘
